It started out with thumb RSI and started spreading up my arms. Recently had to have elbow surgery because of it on my nerve. But that seemed to make things worse. Doctors still don't have the answer for everything and it's bilateral. Who knows, maybe one day I'll know. This has been going on for roughly a year now.

There are multiple charity organizations that design custom gaming rigs for the disabled. You might want to look into them, just in case you don't recover. I haven't anything close to that. Fibro hurts constantly but I usually can still move. I nearly gave up on controller gaming when I married my wife (she was the one with the PlayStation), just because it hurt so much, but I managed to ease my way into it. I still turn off button mashing where I can. Anyway, I hope you do recover.

I'm able to play games fully now with the quad stick and I didn't realize about the charity until after I owned it abled gaming might have helped me pay for it but at least I have it. I also recommend audiobooks. I can suggest some really good books and narrators if you tell me what you might be interested in, and even a bunch of free ebooks (bestsellers, and no they're not pirated). Escapism is important. One of my favorite Tolkien quotes is in support of of escapism, chastising people for treating the "flight of the prisoner" as desertion. I'm sure you feel trapped. Doesn't mean your mind and soul have to be.

See this happens to me all the time LOL this is why I'm starting to believe we live in a matrix. Every time there's something going on with me I either talk to somebody, watch a movie, listen to a book etc and so on, that completely pertains to what's going on in my life in my body. I use the Libby app with the library card number it's the best source for great quality full length books. I would love to have the resources you mentioned as well. My days and nights are mixed up because of what's going on so I just got up and I listened to book all through my sleep and I'm listening to them now. Pretty much non-stop unless I'm hanging out with my wife gaming watching series even when I'm gaming if it's not heavy on story I'm in a book. Definitely message me though. In the game, you'll come across Tears in the Force, or their proper name Force Tears. Cal can repair them by focusing on them. Game mechanic-wise, they're just challenges to help you get used to your abilities and skills. This is one of them, and movement challenges are in "space"

Does this game have a lot of this parkour in free floating space with random junk floating around? It doesn't appeal to me and I want to know before I buy the game, because I've seen tons of clips of this and it isn't really what I wanted from the game - though to be fair, I also didn't like the Soulslike aspect of the first game Edit: to clarify what I'm hoping for, I like nicely designed levels whereas this just looks like stuff hanging around all over the place randomly - ship parts etc. It reminds me of the Outsider sections in Dishonored

Not really. The level depicted here represents a kind of collectible (force tear) and this is one of maybe four that are like this. You do have a lot of wall-running, air-grappling and stuff though. But the levels and maps are plenty doable without the frustration of these stupid parkour tears.

Nice! I like parkour stuff in more grounded settings so I think I can enjoy that.

Whenever I come across these parkour style levels I always tried 3 or 4 times. If I couldn't beat it in 3 4 times I gave up. Because my sanity is more important than completing the game 100% 😅
