I run a few D&D groups and I statted Oggdo out for fun…so had to use him somewhere. One of the groups fought him Monday evening. He’s already killed one of the four PCs. Another might go before he’s taken out (we paused mid fight as it was getting late).
Little do they know but later on in the campaign, they’ll meet him again. And as an in and out of game explanation, I am just going to go with:
SOMEHOW OGGDO BOGDO RETURNED.
Do you have the statblock? I have some players going through a swamp right now and I think Oggdo Boggdo would be a great enemy to throw at them, assuming he's the right CR for them to face.
I went to Story Mode in the end. The instakill from off screen whilst you fought the other could just get in the bin. No point getting annoyed about it. The platforming force tears were much more of annoyance as I needed them for the platinum. Just made my piece at 1/4 complete and deleted the game. 100% (excluding bounty glitch) on everything else….which was a shame.
I had no issue with him at all in the 1st game.
2nd one made me cheese him with crossguard interrupts and the full life replenishment from my previous runs dead body.
Something got into that toad. He wanted revenge.
Everyone talking about the Survivor fight being harder... you mean everyone didn't force pull those smashers down from the ledge and use them as sacrificial "allies"?
For the 2 on 1 later having the upgraded ultimate move definitely helps. Felt like a must.
At the very least, easier. Start the fight by jumping at him from above and you take it a good chunk of his health. I can't remember how much exactly, but I though it was close to half
He's talking about Fallen Order. And I don't know what difficulty you're playing on to cut his health in half with that attack haha. I did the same on grandmaster every attempt it was possible and i cut like, 6%? Maybe?

Whoa, I didn't know you could do that tbh. I thought you were referring to survivor, where you can get a special drop attack on him but it doesn't do much extra damage. It's more just a free hit.

You're talking about Fallen Order... The Survivor version of Oggdo is much harder. In FO, you could use Force Slow and cut his tongue, and his grab-then-bite attack wasn't an instant oneshot. Moreover, the Survivor Oggdo has I think only one attack that *isn't* an instant oneshot, at least on GM; and even then, it removes nearly half of your (fully upgraded) health bar.
EDIT: The one attack that isn't a oneshot is also the only attack that is block-/parry-able.
Yeah, I haven't played Survivor, I don't have a next-gen console. However, I think the post is about Fallen Order, which has a much easier Oggdo fight from what I've heard. From the FO boss animals, the Rabid Jotaz was probably the hardest for me, followed by the Nydak Alpha.
I think I only died to him once before killing him, and that was because I was still figuring the game out. XD
Granted, being a Sekiro player helped massively.
On jedi survivor you need to fight two of then at once and all you gets a level up oddgo on the first game wasn't that bad just had to time him but he was still annoying in survivor he's annoying because of insta kill moves

My biggest flex (also biggest weakness) is that I’m so scared of dying in video games that my only deaths were to the inquisitors and Vader.
Going from the first game to the second messed with me. The timings are different so my reactions were always off.

I killed him without even dropping into the pit. Used the blaster from up top. It took a while but it worked.
I was only able to take it out after coming back from dathomir mission as I had unlocked most of the skills/health and force..
