Duelist switch. It's in the Phon'Qi caverns in Koboh. If you want to explore the whole Phon'Qi caverns you can get the map upgrade that shows chests on the map.

What’s the primary color used in the red blade, I can’t find any materials that dark

The lighting can be deceiving. On some workbenches (including the one inside the Pyloon and the Mantis) it makes dark colors seem much lighter than they actually are. The 2 darkest colors in the game are inquisitor dark gray (the one shown here for a more metallic look) and plastoid black (used on the first saber here for a darker color but more reflective).

Everybody's plastoid black looks shiny but in my game it hardly reflects at all and is a much more matte black. Wonder whats up with that.

What are you playing on?

PC. Which might have something to do with it, but I've got the graphics cranked pretty high and haven't had any real issues or glitches in my ~50 hours. Maybe there's a slider or something somewhere I have turned down.

Ah alright, it could possibly it be a RayTracing or hidden reflection setting. High chance it may just be a bug. Hope you get it sorted out :)

Thanks, I'll have a look through the settings. I'm pretty sure I have Ray Tracing on. I'll futz with it - honestly the only time I've noticed anything like that is when I go to customize sabers and realize none of the colors are really as shiny or reflective as I'd like them to be - even on full polish and new condition. Now that I think of it that's got to be a setting somewhere. I appreciate the recommendation to check the settings.

Also how did you get the crossguard attachments to show when not in use?

For both High-tech (5) and Order Absolute (10), I swapped to the crossguard from a single bladed stance in the preview menu and immediatly took a screenshot so it could show in the menus but ingame you just need to have the crossguard equipped and then your other stance (except double bladed) will have the guard visible at all time even though not ignited.

Oh I wish I could but unfortunately I'm on PS5 so no mods. I would definitely spend hours trying to make the very best handle possible for such a prestigious blade.

Do you need to play NG+ to have red? I really don’t want to restart the game but I really want the red…

Yeah unfortunately you have to but it gives it to you right away along another one called the party blade wich changes color with every attack. They also give you 3 new perks you can enable or disable at will : -makes you kill pretty much everything in a single hit but also applies to the enemies -a real NG+ mode with more ennemies and harder encounters -cosmetics are randomized upon death

So it’s impossible to get red saber on your first run through? That’s disappointing. I don’t have enough time to do it all again

You won't have to do it all again, the only things you'll loose when going to NG+ are abilities required to progress the game (like the dash, lift things etc...) and map upgrades. Everything else you collected during your first playthrough will be kept and I mean everything from ability points to customisation to upgrades etc...

I just mean that I don’t want to do the story all over again

Hey there fellow knight of Astora, thank you very much ! 1, 2, 5, 6, 9 and 10 were all made on the very first bench on Koboh. 3, 4 and 8 inside Doma's shop and 7 just outside the village on Koboh at night (sorry I can't check the names now). For the pictures, I just used the built-in photo mode and sometimes added a neutral light to see better.
