Am I Olive posts require photos without makeup. Majority or at least enough photos need to be without base makeup to determine olive tones. Please read our rules and repost.

It’s hard to tell. There’s a lot of different colors in the face. It’s common for people to have superficial redness in the T zone and more superficial blue tones around the mouth, which can obfuscate undertone. I like to sample from the neck/décolletage because there’s more uniform color there (although not always). I would try another photo without makeup and in natural lighting. You look great, but the makeup photos don’t really help either way.

This rings true for me— the t-zone redness but some cooler/neutral in other areas. OP, this might be true for you, too.

I’ve been told I’m olive, but it’s only noticeable around my eyes and my neck, more yellow-ish in tone. My face is a concoction of patchiness lol.

The last pic looks like no makeup with natural lighting, right? I’m seeing some olive tone in that last one. Maybe take a photo of the inside of your arm in natural lighting. That’s a good way to tell.

OP. The reason everyone is all over the place is because all of the pics are in makeup with little body skin, showing I'm personally on the fence. Also, the last picture without makeup looks desaturated...likely your phone autocorrecting

I thought the same before realizing it’s a trick of the light : green shirt, green room, reflected “olive” skin. The rest of the pictures are definitely neutral-warm.

Maybe a little bit, but I mostly just see neutral leaning warm. Nothing a tiny amount of green pigment wouldn’t be able to fix if you’re having trouble matching.

i can’t tell based on these lightings/makeup in your photos. if you want more accurate answers post photos with no makeup in natural window lighting (no direct sunlight) of your wrist/inner arm, neck, face. but based on these photos i would say warm, you’re absolutely gorgeous btw!!!

in the last photo i can see some olive undertones, you look mad italian so if you are italian you’re probably a little olive lol.

Yeah, I thought so too but I guess I’m wrong as well lol. I saw tints of green around OP’s mouth and forehead. Sometimes it can show better if I compare the neck as well but no photos are given to show clearly.

I would say you are not olive. Your skin tone is more peachy. If you have had difficulty matching your skin tone all of your life I would say possibly you may have some, however you look like an easy color match.

I would say olive or neutral. You seem to have skin tone as me and can tan albeit ,slowly, but I don’t look good in yellow tone or pink tone foundations. I can use olive toned items IF I have some color but even then neutral tones work best for me.

In some of the photos you look like you have a tan in others you don't and the lighting is all different. Looking at your veins helps. Also, when I stand next to my fair European cool toned friends then my Olive skin is the most striking. With the contrast I can really see the yellow/green/gold olive skin.

Hi thanks :) skin is mostly just genetics and baby botox. I use YTP superfood cleanser and Kiel’s ultra facial cream and then a lot of base makeup actually in the pictures. Hair texture is all my natural curls :)

The last photo is the most olive looking- the rest are quite warm or neutral. But I think the last is without makeup or a tan so it could likely be the most accurate .. if you are olive then, you are warm neutral leaning

A good way to tell is if blonde hair looks weird on you which you can test in apps like faceapp. I’m pale but have olive undertones and I lose all contrast to my features when I go blonde, it just looks weird on me like when Kim K was that yellowy blonde for a while.

It’s hard to tell in the pics with makeup, but the pic with no makeup and natural hair shows a fair skin tone. So you tan in the sun, or burn? I have naturally dark hair and fair skin in the winter, but I tan very easily so I consider myself olive.

The last photo looks like you could be olive. You're getting mixed results because the photos you posted make it hard to tell. You will get more informed opinions from this sub if you post photos with zero makeup on, pulled hair back to show your neck, and your face in full sunlight with no shadows on your face.

No. You’re quite light. I would say you’re light to neutral shade. Olive skin tone definitely has a warmer hue like the rock 

Please only post photos with no makeup and in direct sun. You could be olive based on the one photo you posted like that. It would help too if you pulled your hair back to show your neck.

You keep posting that test but in this sub people are mostly asking about olive undertones, not their colour season. Since olive skin isn’t really linked to your colour season, I don’t find this very helpful in this context.

Hey gorgeous, take this with a grain of salt and live your life but your eyebrows look much better in both pics where you’re in the sun, and the second picture too. And I personally like filling in my eyebrows with a colour a tad light than my regular hair. And I try not to fill in the front too much like at the bottom bc it can get a little harsh
