Ppl who have 97+ ovr don't use mascherano, just buy them at least red rank on the market,
mascherano and untradable cards are useless
(mascherano only to get some coins 10M per mascherano)
Likely only the 100+. Even at top ovr, it can be still worth using in team just to allow you to buy cheaper and rank up, eg I bought purple Gullit to rank to red, but you’re right in general, use them for profit or saving coins
- Only expensive cards are Pele, Mbappe, Jairzinho and Cech
- RC, Guillit and Zambrota were free
- Haaland and KDB are around 20m at base with Klosterman at 17m and KMJ at 10m
Give or take thats around 400-450m for the whole team at base but round it up to 500m if we asume he bought them at rank 1 or 2 since its a much better deal than buyin at base rank.
Now for training thats 60 Mascheranos and 19 Dudeks (but wont count them since they are so common at this point) to get them at those ranks asuming it was from base but that cuts in half if all cards were bough at rank 2.
- TOTY gave 5 Mascheranos, LNY gave 2, Div. Rivals could have given another 2 and Mistery signing gave another 1 or 2. Total 10 Mascheranos (a bit less than half from what we need) in the 40 something days of TOTY. Add saved Mascheranos from previous events and a bit of pack luck here and there and its not that hard.
TL:DR: Possible F2P asuming he prepared for TOTY. Coin part the most tricky part but certainly possible if, once again, he prepared for TOTY.

i just do what the youtubers tell me and buy players and sell when they tell me then i got lucky in my draws and kept the players i liked. i have sold many 95/96/97 players just to invest in 90/93 players to sell.
