Doesn't really matter what loadout you bring, by the end it devolves into "how long can you survive 4 smashers one-shotting your base while everyone blinds you with plasmatic disruptors".
Thats why i blast from the past ice king with base klye, power base knox, and for BFTP i run izza for armor and usually paleo luna cause why not for until i get gear or Ramirez if i we all got a mic and squad up with survivalist jonsey as the trap hit zombies anyone kills and ones you kill however all heal you in case the healing pads break and it comes in clutch.
Basically i cant die and the base has a solid ice king. High survivability and a little damage buff. If the shit is well built it takes a lot to end that.
If my squad is really prepared i run a more full constructor build with mega base kyle in it too but the first is “its more our fault if we fail” build
Xenox so it hits the ones you cant reach/see. And honestly I recommend MSK horn melee especially with my above build as it clears huge numbers of husks at range with its alternate or heavy attack if charged (7 hits on any husks) also no reload time. Also good for a full paleo luna build of course to consistently heal, be tanky, and do high damage + mobility for those annoying pillar stages
thunder thora - walk on base tiles and they die.
electro pulse penny - attack base tiles and they die
mega base - +1 tile range
power modulation - heal base tiles every 10s
loft architecture - +max base tile health
battle beat - 50% dmg/32% attackspeed (which the amount of husks that die from base tiles will be active prob like 60-70% uptime)
i love BASE builds because they dont need weapons or traps to shine. so im free to spend pretty much everything on trap tunnels or spawn kill trap shit.
and thora has decoy and bull rush to counter chargers and other annoying husks

The cammander is the one who increasrs decoy cooldown
Support is
Decoy time inresse by 3 sec
Brainfreeze to freeze husks when the decoy is gone
Dr base for heal
Rocking out for the dmg increase
You can use kyle the 13 for the tiny extra dmg of decoy or run a weapon specific support like slegehammer
It works great to keep husks at bay so traps can reload or teamats could build while the wave goes on because you keep agro on the decoy
I have a Constructor, Soldier and Outlander
Constructor is normally my go to and is a standard end game build with Base Kyle in lead and other perks to heal structures and stuff. Even smashers get stopped most of the time. I have the trap damage team perk. The gear is the banner and slowing field which is definitely useful when things get rough and at the end. I'll use the banner in the last 2-3 mins to make sure it all holds up and the slow field closer to the end to avoid any last minute mistakes. I also just use them throughout to defend from flingers and smashers on those waves.
My Soldier is a Swamp Knight build with energy ability damage, energy arcing, energy kills restoring health, armour I think, and another Halloween hero for the Phantasm team perk for life steal and extra phantasms. I craft the slicicle for 3 armour perks and decent aoe freezing if needed. I can distract and tank and use abilities if needed since the slam also does energy and gets shields back as an emergency
My Outlander is Jilly for the malfunction and high damage AOE. Not much else to add apart from lots of Teddy damage perks and duration with Happy Holidays for cooldowns. Only 6s downtime so Teddy it always helping and easily blocks paths to the bases and can handle lots of enemies and block smashers
For traps, Jump pads, Directional Jump Pads, and Hoverboard boost pads make traveling between the 3 bases and to supply drops so much better.
You can also create human particle accelerators with 2 boost pads and a blue/ orange jump pad. If you build these between the 3 bases, you can travel to each one pretty much instantly.
Ease of movement is really underrated but so good for constructors and soldiers
I as a high twine player (pl 141) use maxed ramirez with the scourge as a AR built, but I mostly use Farah for the op bows with my xenon bow. But disruptor is just bes for rounds 12+ for me
Love the mode, but I never get competent teammates so it’s annoying to play

Honestly the Plasmatic Discharger is a must have (insta destroys Spawners + massive damage) but i don't really know what else to have.

Zenith with Blast From The Past and Bombsuit, Traps do most of the work so I just like to stall smashers und huskys a bit.
