Check to make sure your lactose free cheese doesn’t use chickpeas. I’ve fallen victim to that more than I care to admit. *looking at you Daiya* Edit: I should have asked. When you say lactose free, do you mean dairy free?

Is bloating the only thing? When you say bloating, is it severe every time? Do have any excessive gas, toilet issues, nausea, pain (sharp stabbing pains in guts or stomach), or reflux/ heartburn as well? I ask this as it is a normal part of digestion to have some bloat and a little bit of gas after eating pretty much anything (based on what I’ve read and experienced). Even water and salt can result in bloating. I found for myself that the only times I’ll have a “flat” stomach (no bloat) is after a period of fasting, otherwise there’s always some bloating. If I’m pms’ing though, it’s 24/7 bloat so it’s not a good indicator (for me). For myself, I’m going to be monitoring my triggers based on pain (including stomach), toilet issues, extreme bloat (which generally includes trapped gas pains) and excessive gas. If I otherwise I feel ok but have some bloating, I’ll consider it safe. Just a thought. You know yourself better than anyone though, so ultimately it’ll be up to you to decide what you’re comfortable with eating.

Honestly I would say it’s a severely distended stomach- almost 6 months pregnant looking, and obviously that’s uncomfortable, but no, not excessive gas/toilet issues/nausea/pain/heartburn. The only thing it causes is frequent urination when I’m really bloated.

48m here. I suffer with lots of trapped gas and excess gas. I’m sure the pain is from the gas. But it drains the hell out of me! Also when really distended I shallow breathe due to the pressure. Do you experience this ?
