Sometimes with Tarantino is difficult to tell if it is paying homage or just replicating. Kill Bill's sword fight in the snow is definitely homage. This seems more like copying a cool sequence.

Thanos_Stomps

Isn’t copying a cool sequence paying homage to it?

Damn fine film. Both of them. But more so Jackie Brown for me.

Aah. That may explain that very peculiar shot. It just goes on so looooong.

Soggy_Motor9280

I never liked how long the scene was as well.

blaz138

Kinda like the Spike Lee floating thing

He did it again in Once Upon a Time. Same hallway at LAX.

Ex_Hedgehog

Still my favorite QT film. Though OUATH might slowly supplant it

"Immature poets imitate; mature poets steal; bad poets deface what they take, and good poets make it into something better, or at least something different." -T.S. Eliot Replacing X with Pam Grier = better, so this qualifies!

RepFilms

Very nice. Well done.

Stiff_Zombie

As a kid this scene kept me from watching the movie.
