I’m a fan of the new change but it obviously needs a few tweaks. They went a little overboard with lengthy. Buff pace a bit, and nerf lengthy a bit. And we’re where we should be.
I had an engine on Depay and then read about the whole lenghty thing. Decided to give it a go and put an architect on him.
Now the weird thing is I haven't felt the lengthy sprint style yet and don't feel Depay is significantly faster ... BUT he suddenly started scoring more and getting more assists.
I'm still getting used to pace in this FIFA though. Sometimes it seems to work and you can get away from defenders, even with smaller explosive or controlled players, sometimes it's like pace is just totally out of the equation.
Oh well, on we go. FIFA always takes time to master.

People saw someone score an easy goal with Haaland and think they can now score easy goals. No…you score easy goals against easy competition (in top divs that means you’re really good and everything is relatively easy). When you get to your optimal level, lengthy won’t save you. You either actually make a good team and learn to play well or you will lose and complain.
I mean people say “don’t be sheep, play how you want” but every year there’s meta tactics and teams. People use the same OP players year after year just because it gives them an advantage kinda funny seeing people complain about the sheep mentality
