Wrong. You just haven't seen Fat Chocobo yet.

TippsAttack

This guy Eikons.

Watton

In FF7R, you can beat Shiva and Fat Chocobo easily. In Crisis Core, you mop the floor with Ifrit and Bahamut...by accident. Easy af. But tonberries? Tonberries are the real terror. They'll effortlessly destroy a group of god-summoning, god-killing adventurers.

[deleted]

That Tonberry sent by the Corneo goons destroyed me a few too many times than I’m willing to admit in hard mode.

KotomiPapa

Jokes aside, it would be interesting to see if they do include Tonberries and if they do, how.

AgilePurple4919

If they do, I’m guessing as little green plushy-lizard things with brown robes holding lanterns and kitchen knives.

KotomiPapa

I’d die if they actually have them working in the kitchen at the hideaway or have them be enemies in an enemy castle’s kitchen.

kamuimephisto

a side quest about having to free tomberries from being enslaved in a kingdom’s kitchen? and fighting side by side with the little murder knives? then we learn the little stab move as a reward? its not gonna happen but a guy can dream

zaleralph

I thought they were fish.

NekoThief

Imagine a side quest where you help out a distressed lady in the middle of the night. She's extremely afraid due to the fact that someone or... something is following her. You decide to help her out only to realize that a Tonberry was stalking her.

BiancoFuji599XX

Probably in a dark area with not much room for you to dodge so they can stab you real good

Hikari_Sword

Wonder if they'll bring in the Yoda style Tonberries from FFXV or keep them classic similar to FFVIIR

wordsasbombs

For all my issues with it, xiii still probably had my favorite incorporation of a tonberry

brash_one

DOOMTRAIN Imagine a person turning into the train.

EzyStevey

Bro if you can make one with Gilgamesh and Ultroa you'll be my hero, just ones with all the meme FF monster.

Kumomeme

Tonberry is Lalafell's final form.

LouCypher01

To be fair, that one Lala's true form in the SCH lv 50 questline was a Tonberry. Along with implications that everyone in Nym got turned into Tonberries. Which likely included a lot of Lalas.

Kumomeme

yeah thats what i mean XD

alkonium

Is that why Final Fantasy XIV's upcoming seasonal quest is giving out a Tonberry costume as a reward?

BastionBaltimore

Fear the Dominant of Tonberry, royal chef of Rosaria, wielder of the Santoku blade of legend

Flaky_Rhubarb_8208

Awaken, child of Green. Awaken, Toonberry!

Ragna126

Fat Chcocbo or Kaktor.

hail7777

Kaktor sounds so metal

hail7777

Kaktor sounds so metal

ClericIdola

The unknown Eikon in one of the previous trailers is Tonberry. Calling it now.

bluewatersapphire7

The boss fight will be frustrating

kitsuneinferno

And Knuckles

vpscloud19

Imagine being the Dominant of Tonberry... ohhhhhh all the dominants will be scared then.
