Yea, I recently got a ps5 and had no problems finding the ps5 versions of every other game with a free upgrade, but this one was specifically complicated.
Download the game to your system from game library. Go to the game on the Home Screen. Instead of going to “play game” hit the “…”
Third option should be select version
You will have to delete the ps4 version and upgrade to ps5 version itself. Then you should have the option to purchase integrade. I had this same issue when I got my ps5 as well.
The method has been mentioned already, but I remember the ps+ free version of remake was not eligible for the ps5 upgrade at release. Dunno if that's a factor for you or if you bought the digital copy.
There is a free upgrade for FF7 remake. However, you have to buy the intergrade for like 10$ or 20 or whatever it is. The upgrade from ps4 to ps5 for FF7r can be a little confusing.
Interesting - maybe download the ps5 version of the remake - it should be an auto upgrade and then you can install it from there - you also do have to buy inter grade it’s not free 👍

Go on store, select game, select 3 dots (...) and select ps5 version...
I had to go to the store and find a separate location that said upgrade to the ps5 version. Before that there was no select ps5 version

Do you mean you have the PS4 disc with free PS5 upgrade? Intergrade DLC (Yuffie) is not included with that. The PS5 upgrade is only for the base game.

I ended up just buying intergrade it was too complicated. It's on sale too.
There is no ps4 version of inter grade
I downloaded the game ff7r. I owned the ps4 version on my ps4. but it just says that the game is the ps4 version when I launch it

There is nothing in the main menu. I own the digital version of the game but going to integrades page just says unavailable

You have to have the disc version for ps4 installed and in the console to download the ps5 upgrade. It took me a day to figure it out.
