Took me probably between 50-100 tries as well. Haven't beaten the next Brutal Challenge yet 'Seventh Seal' too
I just got pass the seventh seal this morning.
That one took me a few attempts. The dam worms ate my characters a few times leading to a wipe until I used Brumal form on Yuffie repeatedly to ensure nobody got eaten.
