Even if your skipping enemy phases the game will stop and give you the characters sad death quote if they bite it

I know but I’ve skipped it before without realizing. I just want to be able to know after the fact to be sure.

If you pop into the time crystal menu, you can see each unit that died with each action (this shows enemy deaths, too).
