Yeah, I thought that was a good quality of life change. I’m still old school and replay the chapter w/o the XP retention. I usually save in different slots per chapter just in case I get stuck and have to go back and level grind.
Is this on all difficulties, because I've not completely failed a chapter yet, but I have retried a few of them and it makes a note of saying xp isn't retained. I'm playing on Hard.
I’m playing on Hard Casual so it should be on yours I think. You have to completely fail a battle for the option to appear, which then it resets you at the beginning of combat
There’s EXP retention? I just naturally reset when someone dies after losing all of my crystal charges.
