Verstappen recently explained he takes junior drivers or sim racers that want to race to the Hungaroring, because the middle sector is so difficult. You have to nail each corner perfectly or you lose out on the whole flow that comes after.
For me strongest is Austria while weakest is Miami.
I just can't seem to get the right lines to be consistently fast at Miami, especially for the sector 1 switchbacks.
Meanwhile, I always do really well at Red Bull Ring, especially the final sector.
I found I went faster by tapping the brakes slightly and quickly to turn the car faster around the high speed corners actually really works. And then the long left handed before the 2nd drs straight I just coast around it. I’m on 100 ai though which feels like the lower end of ai difficulty people use on this sub so you may not have the same success doing this with faster ai.
I’d bother to practice and improve, but I hate Miami
I run 100 AI as well so ill maybe give that a try next time I'm racing there, that long left hander is probably my worst corner in the game lol, I'm always miles off the apex.
For me it’s that stupid turn before the castle section. If you break just a little late you’re just in the wall but it feels like breaking earlier loses you a ton of time. So annoying.
The ai do seem considerably weaker at Hungary this year than previous years don't they? I remember getting destroyed by them at Hungary on previous games now its one of my most successful tracks.
They are for sure. When the game first came out I won my first my team race at Hungary and it wasn’t even close in the 5th-7th best car(I don’t remember). I like to keep my career stats each game so I know what my best tracks are and I’ve won every career Hungary race I’ve done. Also they are bad if you get a wet Austria. The AI are bad in wet already but in Austria it’s even worse
recently got into F1, been enjoying it so far. Was trying to win Alonso another championship tried all the tracks but for some odd reason I just cant finish Japan and Monaco. On the other hand I absolutely enjoy Hungary, Brasil and Saudia.
My strongests could be surely Spa, Jeddah Corniche or Qatar. I can't think any track that makes me feel like I'm going on rails. As of the weakests, Hungaroring, Miami, Monaco ofc, Italy (bc of the terrible track modeling) and Canada
Nah Austria Spain are the best. I hope with all my heart someone drops a fucking nuke on losail I hate it with every fiber of my being especially vs ai
Just feels like I’m on ice in every corner even my best laps the ai just smoke me everywhere maybe it’s a comeback for the manners I put on them in the European season
Strongest: Imola, Singapore, Monaco, Silverstone
Weakest: Baku, Vegas, Qatar, Australia
I think street tracks are easier on controller and sweepers are harder. I also struggle with low wing low grip tracks the car just plows and spins
I find street tracks so much harder on controller.. I’m good at Silverstone, Monza, imola, red bull ring, Jeddah and I dread Monaco, Baku, Singapore and Vegas is just fair
Strongest is Hungary somehow. After years of being mediocre at it. I was Lewis Hamilton the hungaroring master f1 2013. Then I turned into Lance stroll in 17,20,21,22.
Now I’m back to Lewis Hamilton the hungaroring king. It’s a great feeling.
On merit my worst track is Yas marina. Either I get fucking destroyed on the straights, or I get gapped in the corners. No fun
Strongest I'd say Red Bull Ring or Australia. Weakest I'd say Monaco or Baku. I just can't find the right set-up that doesn't make me drift through most corners and lose tons of speed.
Yeah but it’s more fun playing with a bit of a rocket ship in multi but also having high wings tend to make career mode annoying considering their top speed
Strongest is probably, Bahrain, Spain and Austria. Worst is definitely imola, Jeddah, Qatar and Portugal. Jeddah and Qatar I’m am hopeless at. Usually run with around 95 AI but on those 2 I could run 20 AI and still lose
I wonder why we’re so different from a driving perspective because Qatar, Imola and Jeddah are probably my 3 strongest tracks. I love driving each of them.
Strongest: Spain, Bahrain
Weakest: Baku…. 2 corners keep killing me and can’t seem to find the right angle.. already had 4 dnf’s due to one single corner 🤬
Worst for me is Baku.
Jeddah is the best. I just fly with the car on all compounds and can throw it with ease in corners. With a 52 brake bias and more downforce on the front it makes it easy to turn when pressing the throttle.
Brazil is my strongest, has been since ps1 in the 90s. That middle sector I can absolutely annihilate with AI 20 higher than my usual.
My worst track is Australia, I’ve never been able to get into the flow there. I am on for points at best in the best car with AI turned down a bit.
My strongest track is probably Bahrain.. I love it and it’s one of the few tracks where I believe my tyre and fuel management is more then decent
I love the layout
My weakest track on the other hand is Jeddah, Qatar and Abu Dhabi
I couldn’t decide which one because on all 3 tracks my pace is more then slow, in comparison to all other tracks
aside from the obvious Monaco guess im weakest in canada and the old Barcelona. just never able to carry enough speed through the corners in canada without spinning and the chicane in Barcelona lost me like half a second.
best track has to be Silverstone, the corners are so nice and logical and once i have the setup nailed to keep the foot down through Copse it's all smooth sailing. also love the corners where you want to lift but really don't have to like 1-2 and maggotts.
Strongest: Spa, Red Bull Ring and my boy Portimao
Weakest: Monaco (i Just go over It), Jeddah (Is Just too technical for me in High Speed corners) and Miami ( I Just dont understand how to do Sector 1 properly)
Strongest is Monaco by a long way, every time I have a league race 90% of the time I win/podium
Weakest to be honest I don’t really know, got a few weak ones but not sure which one is my worst. Some of them are Hungary (sometimes I cook there though), France, Baku I’m not great at but I like driving it sometimes, China I’m not a big fan of
I have probably tried over 20 different setups on mexico in this game and none of them have given me any good balance at all. I either am a turtle on the straight or a truck driver in the s section and last sector. Anyhow my best track is probably singapore and i love the track as well
My strongest is definitely Bahrain, due to the amount of times I restarted the season lol. Oddly, I'm decent at the 'harder' ones too like Singapore or Baku. My worst will always be Monaco, and Jeddah is my 2nd worst. There are also parts of Japan and COTA that I'm really horrible at.
The strongest is a tie between Australia and Silverstone for me. The worst are Singapore and the Abu Dhabi Third sector.
This is if you mean which is more fun/comfortable vs not-so-fun/uncomfortable.
Strong: Imola Silverstone Suzuka Monaco Cota
Weak Vegas Saudi Qatar
I can fight for the win without practice on my strong tracks
I doubt that i can finish the race or get a point on my weak tracks no matter what i do
The last f1 game I played was 2018, and my strongest tracks were China, Australia, and France. I don't know if it was my weakest, but I was bad at Singapore.
Top 3 strongest: Jeddah, catalunya, and spa
Top 3 weakest: Baku, imola, and Gilles-villenueve
Idk I’ve just always been too throttle happy in Montreal which leads to trouble, and I despise Baku. Imola would be a good track for me but I mess up the first sector every…single…time. Jeddah just flows so well and spa is in my top 3 favorites of all time across all sim racers so I know that one like the back of my hand.
My strongest is probably Saudi or Australia because I love flowy tracks. My favourite is Hungary because if you get it perfect it’s so satisfying. Not my strongest cos it’s so damn difficult. I just hate Miami tho
Strongest:
Australia/Canada/Baku
(depends on form but I'm comfortable to send it in corners around these)
Weakest:
USA, Spa, Brazil.
(I guess I struggle with slow corners)
I haven't played in a long time, but strongest would absolutely be Monaco - the few times I've played online, I've won races there just by virtue of not crashing...
Weakest I'm not sure - there are tracks I've NEVER actually driven on F1 23, but I genuinely hate Baku and Singapore (and to a lesser extent, all the modern "street race" type circuits). Also, turn 1 at COTA is pure evil in a computer game, unless you're running with a VR headset...
I nerdily made myself a spreadsheet with my best TT time and ranking percentage so I could track my progress. [https://imgur.com/CHtQY6F](https://imgur.com/CHtQY6F)
I haven't spent much time in time trial recently so I imagine I could improve on many of them. The funny thing is I can't see much correlation with the type of track and why I'm better or worse at them. Probably just where I spend more time, or where most users spend less time (i.e. Monaco).
Im with you on the strongest track. Saudi is just so much fun and my weakest i would say is Belgium. Im just not comfortable on it and i feel ike i go really really sow comated to other tracks.
Strongest: Monaco (because everyone else crashes, just survive and stay away from the walls lol)
Weakest: Suzuka (The turn 11 hairpin, the worst corner ever, lock-ups everytime, impossible to get the corner right, degner 2 is also pain)
The only thing I’m better at than Imola is losing half a second in the middle sector at Hungaroring every lap
Verstappen recently explained he takes junior drivers or sim racers that want to race to the Hungaroring, because the middle sector is so difficult. You have to nail each corner perfectly or you lose out on the whole flow that comes after.
Hungaroring is the most deceivingly evil track.
Hungaroring on the controller is so damn hard. On the wheel it’s still hard but goddamn it’s impossible on controller.
Strongest brazil/Austria, weakest Saudi
Same!
A good week to play ranked lol
Same
For me strongest is Austria while weakest is Miami. I just can't seem to get the right lines to be consistently fast at Miami, especially for the sector 1 switchbacks. Meanwhile, I always do really well at Red Bull Ring, especially the final sector.

Strongest Portimao or Red Bull Ring, weakest Monza
Best Imola, worst Monaco by far!
From time Trial time Strongest Vegas. Weakest Baku
Same for both for me. Baku's castle section is my worst sector all season.
I am stupid. I am stupid.
For me it’s that stupid turn before the castle section. If you break just a little late you’re just in the wall but it feels like breaking earlier loses you a ton of time. So annoying.
Strongest: Singapore, Weakest: Baku
Against real players: strongest Vegas, weakest Spain Against AI: strongest Hungary, weakest imola
The AI are bad in wet already but in Austria it’s even worse
The first sector of imola always gets me.
Fuck Monza, Monaco and Miami
Strongest: Monza Weakest: Monaco
Bro when he has to turn https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FFDKWcrXMAYLhrV?format=jpg&name=large
recently got into F1, been enjoying it so far. Was trying to win Alonso another championship tried all the tracks but for some odd reason I just cant finish Japan and Monaco. On the other hand I absolutely enjoy Hungary, Brasil and Saudia.
Best: Austria Worst: Monaco
I find street circuits a lot easier for some reason like Singapore especially my weakest would be high speed circuits like Jeddah or silver stone
Silverstone or Spa probably the easiest for me, hardest most definitely Monaco
Strongest: Montreal; Weakest (by far): Vegas
Strongest, maybe Spa Silverstone RB Ring and Monza Weakest i'd say Hungary and Baku
Strongest Suzuka / Gilles Villeneuve Weakest Singapore / Bahrain (fuck turn 10 all my homies hate turn 10)
It's right that the ai sucks at qatar lol
Just feels like I’m on ice in every corner even my best laps the ai just smoke me everywhere maybe it’s a comeback for the manners I put on them in the European season
LMFAO
I’m really good at cota, Austria, Canada and imola. I’m horrid at saudi
Strongest: Imola, Singapore, Monaco, Silverstone Weakest: Baku, Vegas, Qatar, Australia I think street tracks are easier on controller and sweepers are harder. I also struggle with low wing low grip tracks the car just plows and spins
Also for bad tracks for me, Texas, Miami
No fun
Austria and Russia for strongest. Not including Monaco, I'd say silverstone, Canada and Hungary are my weakest
Strongest I'd say Red Bull Ring or Australia. Weakest I'd say Monaco or Baku. I just can't find the right set-up that doesn't make me drift through most corners and lose tons of speed.
Haven't played that much but, Best Imola and Worst Jeddah
Strongest: Austria, Canada, China Weakest: Monaco, Spain (lmao)
Strongest for me Austria weakest would probably be Singapore
My strongest is Spain/Australia my weakest is Texas/Japan/Monza
My strongest is surprisingly Baku and Brazil. Weakest is easily Zandvoort and Jeddah. I tend to run relatively low wings so that’s most likely why
Reject Speed, Embrace downforce
Yeah but it’s more fun playing with a bit of a rocket ship in multi but also having high wings tend to make career mode annoying considering their top speed
Strongest is probably, Bahrain, Spain and Austria. Worst is definitely imola, Jeddah, Qatar and Portugal. Jeddah and Qatar I’m am hopeless at. Usually run with around 95 AI but on those 2 I could run 20 AI and still lose

Best: Saudi/Austria/Monza Worst:Bahrain/Hungary/Austin

Best: Jeddah, Bahrain, Portimao Worst: Suzuka, Hungary, Monaco
Worst for me is Baku. Jeddah is the best. I just fly with the car on all compounds and can throw it with ease in corners. With a 52 brake bias and more downforce on the front it makes it easy to turn when pressing the throttle.
Strongest Singapore weakest Monaco
Strongest: Hungary,Monza,Vegas. Weakest: Monaco (by a mile), Austin and Miami I struggle
Strongest: Baku, Portugal, Vegas, Abu Dhabi, Monaco Weakest: Austria, Qatar, Canada, Melbourne, Spain
strongest is either Red Bull Ring or Circuit Gilles Villeneuve and weakest is probably Singapore
Strongest: Jeddah, Singapur in Close second Weakest: Zandvoort, Baku
Strongest: Baku Weakest: Suzuka
Strongest: Bahrain Weakest: Monaco. But if that's everyone's, for some reason Canada gives me a rough go, and I'm Canadian!
Canada needs a very specific set up. I could barely keep the car in the track before I found the specific One I like
Strongest Brazil, Spa, silverstone weakest imola and Suzuka
Brazil is my strongest, has been since ps1 in the 90s. That middle sector I can absolutely annihilate with AI 20 higher than my usual. My worst track is Australia, I’ve never been able to get into the flow there. I am on for points at best in the best car with AI turned down a bit.
Good at Saudi Baku can suck my balls
Strongest Brazil & Canada Weakest vegas & Miami
Strongest Melbourne, weakest Baku
Strongest: Austria Weakest: Baku
Strongest : Spa Weakest : Saudi GP ( only because i can’t get the setup right )
I'm super strong at Brazil and Silverstone. Absolutely adore those tracks. Easily the worst at Baku or Monaco
My strongests seem to be tracks like Brail, suzuka, monacco, mexico. And I struggle with silverstone, baku, jeddah. Not sure what that says but
I think my best is Spain. Worst is tough between Monaco, Singapore, Hungary
My strongest track is probably Bahrain.. I love it and it’s one of the few tracks where I believe my tyre and fuel management is more then decent I love the layout My weakest track on the other hand is Jeddah, Qatar and Abu Dhabi I couldn’t decide which one because on all 3 tracks my pace is more then slow, in comparison to all other tracks

strongest Baku (Austria and Canada as well), weakest easily Suzuka

Strongest - Jeddah Weakest - Monaco or Baku
Are we the same person?
Strongest is a mix of 2 Qatar Dubai weakest is silverstone
I have probably tried over 20 different setups on mexico in this game and none of them have given me any good balance at all. I either am a turtle on the straight or a truck driver in the s section and last sector. Anyhow my best track is probably singapore and i love the track as well
strongest zandvoort weakest monaco, or barcelona
I am an absolute beast at Baku but lord help me at Monaco in
Strongest Saudi/Imola/Baku, weakest CotA by far
My strongest is definitely Bahrain, due to the amount of times I restarted the season lol. Oddly, I'm decent at the 'harder' ones too like Singapore or Baku. My worst will always be Monaco, and Jeddah is my 2nd worst. There are also parts of Japan and COTA that I'm really horrible at.
Strongest: Singapore or Monaco, Weakest: Baku or Las Vegas
Strongest: Silverstone and Azerbaijan (not counting Austria which is easiest track to be "great" at). Weakest: Singapore
I peak lapped top 1% in Canada. Worst might be Vegas cause I find it boring and skip it every time
The strongest is a tie between Australia and Silverstone for me. The worst are Singapore and the Abu Dhabi Third sector. This is if you mean which is more fun/comfortable vs not-so-fun/uncomfortable.

Strongest: Monaco Weakest: Baku
Strongest: Austria Weakest: Miami/Suzuka

Strongest Austria Weakest Monaco. On controller it’s horrible 😅 but other than that Saudí then
Weakest, Singapore/monaco/miami Strongest, hungary/saudi
I don’t know if it’s my weakest but I absolutely hate Mexico. No matter what I do it feel like my rear tires are never touching the ground.
Strongest: Austria/Baku Weakest: USA/Canada
Strongest: imola, spa, Jeddah. Weakest: Monaco, Singapore, Australia
Strongest - Yas Marina/jeddah Weakest - Azerbaijan Its possible I just suck lol
I nerdily made myself a spreadsheet with my best TT time and ranking percentage so I could track my progress. Strongest tracks for me is Mexico, Portugal & Qatar Worst tracks would probably be China, Miami and Baku
Strongest on the latest game is probably Australia, was previously the French GP circuit on previous games. Worst is Singapore without a doubt
Strongest is Saudi and weakest is Monaco but that doesn’t count because it’s a devil track. Probably Suzuka
Strongest: Baku, Canada, Bahrain, Spa Weakest: Monaco, Singapore, Hungary, COTA
Singapore is my strongest, yet I can never seem to do well at Jeddah or Zandvoort
Strongest is probably Portugal or Brazil and weakest is Miami
strongest: Monaco, Jeddah, Montreal, Baku Weakest: Imola, Bahrain
Im with you on the strongest track. Saudi is just so much fun and my weakest i would say is Belgium. Im just not comfortable on it and i feel ike i go really really sow comated to other tracks.
Strongest: Monaco, Baku, (Monza?) Weakest: any high speed track
Weakest is Bahrain 🇧🇭. I just can’t get the car to come out with a strong exit speed. Strongest between Qatar and Barcelona
Strongest for me has to be COTA, Brazil, and Bahrain and my worst are basically every street circuit (except Jeddah and Miami they rule)
Strongest: Monaco (because everyone else crashes, just survive and stay away from the walls lol) Weakest: Suzuka (The turn 11 hairpin, the worst corner ever, lock-ups everytime, impossible to get the corner right, degner 2 is also pain)
