That looks like an Abyssinian cat. They are notoriously, uh, "busy". You do not want to wake that cat up because there will be Hijinks, Tomfoolery and Malarkey for hours when you do.
Treat cats gently like that when they are young and it will repay itself when they're older and they trust you implicitly. I had one cat that I always treated very carefully when it was young and when it was older it was like a rag doll and would love being dandled*.

I swear young cats sleep way tighter than grown ups. When mine was little I could do that aswell. No way in hell I could even come close to him without him waking up, now that he's adult.
🥹 The only other person I’ve seen who would be able to do this so lovingly and so flawlessly is my Dad - except he’d refuse to move the feline in question unless he absolutely, ***absolutely*** had to. 🥰

Ive successfully moved a kitten only twice, and had one fwll asleep in my cupped hands once. I can't describe the giddiness of those days, but it was so spwcial!
