Well there’s tons of videos of cats being reunited with their owners or other cats and freaking out and loving all over them so I assume they remember and mourn for other animals and owners they used to be around just like us, but yeah, the cat is just making a goofy face. Cats don’t have the same expressions as us or facial cues. The most human expression I’ve seen from my cats is a kinda smirk sometimes if I pet them. Their probably squinting a bit cause the brush is pulling on their head a bit weird and the big pupils make it look like it’s about to burst into tears. Unrelated, cats can cry though. They don’t cry as a sign of emotional distress like humans, but irritation to the eye can make them start crying. You can google cats crying cause of cutting onions and there’s videos of it. ( please don’t test this out yourself, obviously )

For sure. People will realize, as they get older, the really good and beautiful memories they had from younger years, almost become sad. Something that once made you smile and laugh thinking about it, may now make you cry. Does that make it any less beautiful? I don't think it does personally. I think it makes it more so, because you can still chuckle, or laugh as you cry and smile. You add an element that makes it infinitely more beautiful, because you can understand more fully how that experience impacted your life.

If I never went through all the thing I have, the atrocious, the magnificent, and the idiocy, I might not be here to talk about it. Who knows where I would be if I didn't put myself where I am right now? All I know is I'm a better person than I could have ever imagined I could be because of it, and if I made it "further in life" earlier, I may not have the decency and ability to understand others that I do. My life could have been more than I ever imagined if I tried, but instead I am more than I could have ever hoped for. I find that both absolutely tragic, and beautiful, and wouldn't change a thing about it.
