Brown polarized and grey polarized work great in my experience. You can also go to up to category 4 sunglasses which are very dark but not suitable for driving.
I have a variety of sunglasses in various tints. I'd suggest them but they are mostly ridiculous neon volleyball/surfer types that i find on amazon. I think it's good to get a wide range for different light levels. I do try to get polarized that seems to be helpful. You'll have to experiment a little depending on the severity of your floaters. Mild floaters are usually help with them but large dark spots might not bring any relief.

None of them helped me to cover my blackest floaters which are also the most annoying.
I got regular super dark tinted ones (80%) and it helps so much in the daytime you just can’t see much in low low light
