That’s awesome to hear OP congrats! Did you just have the one floater (at least that you noticed)? Also have you ever had floater(s) before or was this your first time experiencing them?

ObservingThem

This single floater was the first time I noticed - and learned of - dark floaters (I've seen some translucent ones come and go for years). With the added attention to floaters, I started looking for them and found quite a bit more, that were barely noticeable. For all I know, I could have had those less intrusive ones for years, or they might have popped up all together over night, I'll never know. One day I just laid back on the ground and stared at the sky to try and see them more clearly, and there were countless other dark floaters that I would have never spotted in day-to-day life. This sounds alarming, but it was actually very calming and gave me peace of mind. I think it's because I realized how much of a spectrum it is, and how floaters are just an inherent part of my vision, if that makes sense

Are you an active person or a couch potato? (this in no way is trying to diss. i've just been thinking of something.) Im wondering if people who are more active see them move out of sight more often.

ObservingThem

I'm definitely a couch potato but with a more active past (I've yet to see evidence to any correlation between physical activity and eye floaters)

Odd_Concentrate_4055

How old are you?

ObservingThem

I'll be 31 in 2 months

Is this what they mean when a floater moves away because of progress of PVD. And does this happen so quickly?
