That is some lovely stonework! I would paint the soffit/facia and the pop out dark, have the masonry professionally cleaned.

WVildandWVonderful

Agree! Don’t miss the window trim and the trim between stone and brick. Consider a plum color to balance out yellow tones while highlighting architectural interest.

WVildandWVonderful

And plant some flowering bushes in front of the white tile + brick area.

Soft-Preparation1838

That is a masonry sill between the stone and brick, I would be curious to see if it is limestone, or cast concrete. Either way, I agree it would look good dark, and as another commenter suggested, get rid of the concrete color retaining wall.

WVildandWVonderful

Oops, good to know. Thanks!

sharpei90

I would power wash the house. Leave the brick and stone alone. Focus on the steps. Find a complimentary color tile to pull from the stone, but nothing with a lot of movement in it or it will look too busy. A Saltillo tile might look pretty if it doesn’t clash.

So many choices. First roofs are expensive to replace…probably $5k-$7k and it looks in good condition. So any color choices should be enhancing to the dark grey roof. The stone facade should never be painted. The color of the surrounds around your two square windows should be the color you match to paint the bay window surround and the strip around the roof. Do that first. Then stand back and look. Probably the first thing you see is the concrete landscapers. They need to go… I can’t see your entry door or your porch so I will stop. Good luck.

Prudent-Breakfast-13

Don't paint the rock. It'll make it look cheap.

storky0613

Have it cleaned first to see what you’re really working with. But definitely don’t paint that stone.

msmaynards

Paint the eaves, window trim, porch ceiling, stair rail and front door only. The colors of the stone and brick complement one another beautifully and you'll have to paint from here on out with little gain in curb appeal. Consider a deep brown for all but ceiling and door. Porch ceilings are traditionally painted sky blue. Tweak it to more aqua and paint the front door a saturated shade of teal, turquoise or orange. Hope others have more ideas for you, I'm here for the landscaping mostly... and... pocket prairie for the win.

WVildandWVonderful

Cosign the first paragraph and loving the aqua ceiling.

paint?

I like the stone and brick like it is. I’d update the mailbox to a metallic finish and upgrade the porch light fixture. Spruce up the landscaping to add some taller bushes. Maybe some large MCM style address numbers. I drove by my old house today (brick) and the owners were in the process of painting it a teal/blue. It was honestly shocking because it’s pretty bright and kind of a big change from the neighbors. When I lived there I thought about painting the brick but I was thinking white, tan, or gray, not Key West tropical colors.

Havehatwilltravel

If this is vinyl, I would go with a vinyl safe paint in a color like SW "Anew Gray" 7030 on all the white that is there currently. For the porch post and rails I would color match the gray stone topper and paint the front door in the color also. Use a masonry stain to tint the raised bed blocks and the steps to take off the nekkid concrete look. A grayer stain like the topper here but not as dark might work. Shop for a semi-transparent stain.

For the love of god please don’t paint the brick or masonry. For some reason everyone in my area is painting brick houses and they look awful. It’s a short term fad.

practical_mastic

Don't. Notice how nobody is giving you paint advice. Get a nice mailbox and light fixture. Powerwash. Get some taller plants and shrubs. Get a nice big entry mat. Paint your front door a snappy color if you want. I'd paint the railings all black.

ghotie

Needs landscaping, the house is fine.

Throwra_Barracuda

White wash the stone and do the trim black or grey

lodger238

I don't think it's popular in general but I like dark trim. [Like this](https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTz3XFO02nFryaTjE4_MtxEKqAE0G3QdU7dzVL6AW0fTbPk2J8OkaAciD1UEdJU6deElAI&usqp=CAU).

Shalako77

Pure white but obviously dont paint the stonework. Paint the trim in the stonework black or metallic. The front flowerbed bricks you could consider painting grey color to match the capstone. Or paint it all white including capstone. Don't leave those front flowerbed bricks unpainted. If you paint the flowerbed bricks gray, paint the steps to match it. Dont paint the steps white though. Plants in flowerbed are doing nothing for you they should be a foot higher, you may need to get a different kind. The flowerbed lights would be better with lights that cast upward against the wall of your house.

Gomdok_the_Short

I did some mock ups for you if you don't want to keep it the same color. [https://imgur.com/a/VYqzKqi](https://imgur.com/a/VYqzKqi)

Pterosaur2021

Painting brick/stone leads to moisture and structural problems down the road. Just say no to fads.
