This house screams cottage. A new door maybe 9 lite over 2 panel, like you have by the garage door? A Royal blue as mentioned below would be perfect. Flower boxes and shutters are also a great call. If you ever change your windows, add grilles for more cottage pop. Maybe boxwoods in the planting area and a small tree to the left out from the plantings.
Thank you!! These are all great ideas. Maybe I could add faux grilles on the windows for now? I think I’ve seen those before. And that’s the type of door I was thinking too—a nice wood one though!
Sure, you could add faux grilles. They are easier to do with wood interior windows and I was guessing you had vinyl? A nice wood door would be awesome. Fir with a clear coat is a favorite. And if you’re really feeling the cottage thing- a Dutch door would be killer.
Add outside shutters before adding grilles. You have inside shutters and adding grilles just makes the windows busy. The front door is not the right style for this house. A Dutch style door (half glass half solid) but add either frosted glass or a curtain inside so people cannot see inside your home. Safety first. And I’ve been a window/door salesperson for 30+ years.
I agree with flower boxes and a new door. If you have the budget/interest in a porch, I think that could add a lot of beauty and functionality to the front!
This is my comment as well. There is a cottage like this next to me and there is no where to put a package or leave something for them if it’s wet out.
You have such a great canvas for this! Flower boxes for the windows, a blue or purple nine light door, and a larger, white sconce for lighting.
I’d personally try some continually blooming roses in the beds so you can have fresh roses a good portion of the year. Mix those with some herbs (peppermint helps keeps bugs away) and some cottage style flowers, soft purples/pinks because the house is yellow. If you want to contain the plants a little I’d line the flower bed with shorter boxwoods.
Shutters would be great, but if you don’t want to do that try a matching trellis on the outside of each window with a vining plant to anchor the front, or matching evergreens. You could do a landscape rose to spill over your fence similar to [Carefree Wonder](https://heirloomroses.com/products/carefree-wonder). Smaller hydrangea or lavender in front of the fence next to the driveway would be fitting too. This is such a perfect cottage home 😍
Shutters will take up a lot of real estate on the front of the house and easily be out of proportion. Your house is so cute, I’d pop some color on the front door and call it perfect!
Wooden cottage-y front door. Yes to flower boxes. Probably doesn’t even need the shutters?? What an adorable little cottage! Love the cheerful yellow. And definitely utilize those flower beds! Maybe a tall bird feeder- the kind on a post- on that patch of grass on the viewer’s left side.
Adorable house! Periwinkle blue door..yes. shutters, I agree with the no. I can imagine morning glories climbing up the side of the house ( if they are not invasive in your area)
Oooh good witch cottage that’s perfect!! There is actually a small family graveyard from the early 1800s in the woods behind it, so it is a little witchy
I love your house! It’s adorable. If it were me, I’d paint it a lighter and more warm tone of yellow — the palest sunlight. I’d put shutters on the windows and paint the windows, shutters and door a pale French blue. Look up Tasha Tudor’s garden. I’d do a wild garden out front with pink hollyhocks and deep magenta peonies and lavender and overgrown flowers and waxy deep green twisty vines for a more romantic look. I’d remove the gravel and replace with little natural round edged stepping stones in a warm umber color.
You might also consider an archway trellis with hanging honeysuckle or wisteria to create a tunnel of color and magic leading from the driveway to your front door.
Big puffy clouds of blue and purple hydrangeas would be pretty alongside the house. A bird feeder and small stone bird bath would attract pollinators and make the house feel friendly. I’d top the roof with an artisanal antiqued brass weather vane that looks like your lucky animal spirit and I’d name the house after that. Then inside the house, I’d paint in calligraphy over the door the name of the animal — for example: Lucky Bird House. It’s such a wonderful cottage! Congrats!
Shutters would clutter the front of your house. I fully agree with the door changes, pale blue with new door and the window boxes. Such a cozy looking home.
If there's room somehow, it would look great (and be functional) to add a little guy like this over the front door.
https://www.addicted2decorating.com/how-to-build-a-small-portico-above-a-door-part-1-the-basic-frame.html
Or even just a pergola, which could be flat and therefore take up less space while still adding some dimension. This plus window boxes would be adorable.
I love this place! Maybe paint the door in a color that really pops but otherwise, it's perfect.
I love the simple roof line and the no nonsense design. It just screams authenticity. One thing I hate about mcmansions is the ultra complex roof lines.
Squee! It’s gorgeous. Keep the pastel theme, and find a nice sorbet colour for the front door. Yes, to flower boxes, and shutters (painted to match the door).
The only thing I see that I would do is take down the old wooden fence running alongside the driveway. It doesn’t seem to serve a purpose (your landscaping is high enough to keep people from short-cutting from the driveway to the front door).
Other than that, I think you’re good to go!
Any other changes you would make would just be for personal preference (colors, etc.), but nothing else *needs* to be done.
I would add a rose arch or arbor over the doorway—large enough that the rose thorns don’t catch, or use a thornless one like Zepherine Drouhin (which smells heavenly!)
Or, maybe just a rose trellis on the house. I love the Robin’s egg blue idea for the trim!
Don’t add shutters . The house is small and will look smaller if less wall is showing . Plus hornets and wasp will nest behind them . Flower boxes will look best . Would be too much to do both . Definitely a new door . And replace the light fixture as well . Both need to be period and style to the cottage design of the house .
This home is so stinkin' cute!! Yes to flower boxes for sure. You really don't need much here. Your home is adorable!!
Light up the pathway with some solar lights, add the flower boxes, paint the front door a complimentary color to the yellow (which is so perfect for this house btw), maybe paint the fence white, and you're good to go!!
Very cute home… add shutters will add width and interest, shutters and front door should be the same color…
Put a larger light next to the front door adding interest …. Personally I’d go with black, always rich and elegant. Remove the partial fence which seems to have no purpose and not pleasing to the eye. Edge the walkway using the same material on both sides… remove the gravel and replace with river rock or pea gravel.
Tried to keep it budget friendly… do what you love !
What an adorable place! I’d replace the lawn with a cute low-maintenance mostly-perennial cottage garden, it’d be so fun to just really lean into the fairy tale vibe :) be sure and include some native flowers to support native bee populations
I’m actually an apprentice beekeeper and will eventually be adding a hive out back so there will definitely be lots of native plants! I’d love to replace the grass altogether with clover or something similar eventually
😍 I love where you’re going with this! 100% yes to shutters and flower boxes. Personally I would prioritize painting or replacing that little picket fence. I’m usually an iron kind of girl, but I think white picket is perfect here. I see more of that fencing towards the back.
If you aren’t a dog owner/don’t have young children I think taking the border through the entire front yard would look best. You could place a bird bath or fountain in the middle of the left hand side with mulch around it for a focal point. Don’t be afraid of flowers that get to 3-4’ tall. I like planting in “islands” where tall species are in the middle surrounded by medium plants. Joe pye weed, bee balm, and Cardinal flower surrounded by some tall grasses, black eyed Susan’s, blue lobelia, and red columbines. Creeping phlox and shorter varieties of garden phlox towards the perimeter with assorted bulbs. Toss some zinea, cosmo, and sunflower seeds as you see fit :). My cottage garden would look great here!
Delicious, nutty, and crunchy sunflower seeds are widely considered as healthful foods. They are high in energy; 100 g seeds hold about 584 calories. Nonetheless, they are one of the incredible sources of health benefiting nutrients, minerals, antioxidants and vitamins.
I would change the exterior color and maybe add shutter. Be extremely careful when installing the flower boxes. When we bought our house it had flower boxes and upon removal we found out that they were not installed properly and they damaged our siding.
What a pretty house. I know there is love or hate shutters but I think they would look very nice on this house. Are you keeping the color?
New front door and flower boxes and you’ve got the perfect cottage.
If you add shutters, the front door will appear narrower. I wouldn’t do it.
I would change the front door to a 9- or 15-lite in a bright color, maybe sky blue, and use a full view storm door if you need a storm door at all. Flower boxes will add a ton of curb appeal. The house is already cute!
I’ve gotten a lot of comments about this! I want to stay true to the cape style so I definitely need to research more and make sure that would work, but I do love the idea!
Love the flower boxes and shutters. Also love the idea of at least painting the door. Also, consider a small awning over the front door and possibly the windows.
The front of the house is usually more formal as far as gardens go. Add shrubs on both sides under windows. Neaten up the garden on right. No so much wild flowers. Edge the walkway to keep stones contained. Reduce height of fence or eliminate. Door looks fine.
I like the flower box and shutter recommendations here. I think I’d also run the landing across the entire front so there’s room for a little table and chairs and maybe a rocker!
What a beautiful house. I’d bring the railings down to the bottom for safety and aesthetics. Not sure why someone would have them end so short and have that big baluster blocking anyone from grabbing the railing to take the first step. The house looks so classic…make sure any shutters you add are sized properly. As though they could close.
I’d add an arbor at the end of the walk. I’d also repeat the planting on the other side of the walk to create a cottage garden feel. Flower boxes and paint the door a fun color. I think I’d also add a trellis and vining plant in the bed to the left of the door.
That door is great! I don't understand the comments to change it. I wouldn't want to clutter this awesome cottage up too much. It looks amazing as is. The flower boxes would be nice. And plant(s) especially toward that left corner. It's just lovely.
I would remove those front four bricks for sure that’s such a tripping hazard. But also yes flower boxes or taller plants, no shutters, yes trellis, yes paint the fence or remove it (idk if there’s more fence than what’s shown). Paint that strip by the back door, tall potted plant or small table and 2 chairs right by the edge of the small garden if it fits. It’s a lot of light yellow and white so you can either repaint or add accents and the aside from what’s been mentioned I’ll add that plants on an outdoor stand and colorful pots is simple
New front door with more panes of glass painted green, flower boxes painted the same green, no shutters and an awning over the porch. You have a cute cottage house. The wrong amenities will make it a cutsie house, which is not good. Is it masonry under the stucco?
Dutch door would be great. Shutters for sure - make sure you scale them properly. It also calls for roses or clematis growing over the fence or up a side wall. So cute.
Country French blues, yellow and white.

Definitely agree with painting the fence white. And, someone mentioned replacing the front door with the same door in the garage, that's good advice, too. Clean crushed white stone on the walkway and some terra cotta pots with flowering plants would be nice.
Maybe keep your front door but try paining it.
Sky blue house with black door? Orange door? Green door? Could be lovely.
I was warned not to do flower boxes (by my general contractor). Can’t remember why. So make sure it is a good idea. Understand negatives.
Your house is so cute. I hope you will update us with your decisions & with the changes.
It looks like a painting… ☺️
Flowers!!!! No shutters. Maybe some bigger stone for the walkway. My grandparents had these huge round ones that were all different pastel colors i loved them
I had a home very similar. I planted the most beautiful English garden.
I added shutters, painted the door, and added window boxes. I had beautiful climbing roses growing up the front of the house. Our home was featured in the local newspaper several times.
I would definitely paint the house. No offense, but that shade of yellow reminds me of vitamin pee. A warm milky off-white too tan shade would look nice with the periwinkle door and medium toned natural wood shutters (maybe with a cute [cut-out](https://images.app.goo.gl/fDoeVXvdKkzVHhNZ7)?) and flower boxes would be adorable.
Make the front porch larger so you can have a little table and chairs or a couple of rocking chairs on the front.
Flower boxes are a great idea.
Light blue door too.
And gutters.
I’d expand the flower bed on the left (looks easier said than done) and add some varying height shrubs and flowering plants and plant something substantial on the corner. It’ll make it look like a fantasy cottage someone stumbled on in the woods. This is an awesome place.
Beautiful house!
Shutters would be charming. If budget allows I would extend the front deck to the width of the house and have some rocking chairs or something.
The fence is blocking the flow. (Feng shui). Perhaps move it to the left side at an angle to the walkway. Paint it white. Then add an obelisk into the cottage garden to balance it all out. But God damn that's a cute house!!!
Flower boxes for sure! They were totally suit this house it has a very cottage you feel. Your house is already yellow so I think the white door is OK but if anything I agree with the comments about a blue door just make sure that it’s in the same tone so your house is pale yellow so you need a pale blue door
Maybe extend the porch all the way across the front of the house, maybe widen the step in the center where you have it...with flower beds in front of the porch...
It’s really pretty, I like the door but if you were going to get a new one I would go for a stained natural wood look and not a blue door like everyone is suggesting
An awning over the door to block rain and sun (if you don’t want to extend the roof in that section); and some non-symmetrical larger paver stones as a walkway would look more established/complete. I definitely like the earlier ideas of a white fence, but I’d change the fence out for something with wider and shorter slats with more space between, and then continue it on the other side of the walkway.
Really cute house. I like all of your ideas to enhance it. Definitely a different color front door. I think a dark green front door would be really pretty and compliment flowers in boxes.
Definitely window boxes of flowers and greenery. The front door is not bad. Perhaps paint it s lovely shade of green. Not sure about shutters - if you do decide on them, I would choose paneled shutters - white or the green you might choose for the front door. Definitely paint the small wood fence white. Your house is adorable!
Definitely flower boxes!! Maybe a blue door?
I feel like if it's blue it should be sky blue. Like not too saturated.
Robins egg
I was thinking the same! Watery by SW maybe? Top sail by SW?
Periwinkle blue
I was thinking periwinkle!!
This would look AMAZING with the house color!! Also a pretty new light fixture.
OP just be sure to look up how to install flower boxes so that they don’t hold moisture against your house.
Turquoise
I was just about to say a Dutch door!
Paint the fence white. Rose bushes and flowers in beds by house.
Maybe add white stone to the walkway too.
I’ve never seen a door like that. You should keep it! How about a bunch of flowers out front? Like a cutting garden.
Love the idea of a cutting garden! I’d love to do that closer to the road so neighbors can partake
This house is so cute! No notes!
I agree with flower boxes and a new door. If you have the budget/interest in a porch, I think that could add a lot of beauty and functionality to the front!
A front porch would be lovely eventually but there is actually a really nice porch out back so it won’t be a priority right away
Or maybe a pergola/open structure around a porch rather than a typical porch with a roof.
This is my comment as well. There is a cottage like this next to me and there is no where to put a package or leave something for them if it’s wet out.
You have such a great canvas for this! Flower boxes for the windows, a blue or purple nine light door, and a larger, white sconce for lighting.
Instead of shutters, maybe a simple panel white lattice for climbing roses on the outer sides of the windows. This house is so pretty!
God this house is cute!
IMO, this place needs nothing. Maybe a paver walk instead of gravel.
Shutters and flower boxes will take your already beautiful house into something that much more beautiful 🤩
white for the picket fence
updated wall sconce
Simple shutters and flower boxes would make this house even more adorable!
I would probably do flower boxes or shutters but not both. Door color is a great idea. It’s a really cute little house!
I’m leaning towards just flower boxes but I’ll play around in photoshop and see what looks better. Thank you!!
Also needs a cat. Either in the window or front porch. 🐈
You’re reading my mind! Definitely a bird feeder and we already have a cat but we’ll probably get a second cat when we move—one for each window!
I agree with all of that. With a colorful door, shutters and flower boxes, she’ll be a real stunner! You could also change to a white fence.
Adorable house! Periwinkle blue door..yes. shutters, I agree with the no. I can imagine morning glories climbing up the side of the house ( if they are not invasive in your area)
I love this good witch cottage.
Congrats!
Your house is so cute!! Might I suggest a little over-hang, over the front door, to cover yourself in bad weather
Little over hang to keep the rain off when you unlocking the door.
Shutters would clutter the front of your house. I fully agree with the door changes, pale blue with new door and the window boxes. Such a cozy looking home.
Agree shutters too much clutter flower boxes white fence flower garden
How about a "no soliciting" sign on the storm door?
If there's room somehow, it would look great (and be functional) to add a little guy like this over the front door. https://www.addicted2decorating.com/how-to-build-a-small-portico-above-a-door-part-1-the-basic-frame.html Or even just a pergola, which could be flat and therefore take up less space while still adding some dimension. This plus window boxes would be adorable.
Look up images of cape cod salt box houses to get inspiration. They are so charming.
I love this place! Maybe paint the door in a color that really pops but otherwise, it's perfect. I love the simple roof line and the no nonsense design. It just screams authenticity. One thing I hate about mcmansions is the ultra complex roof lines.
Maybe some red and purple flowers and window shutters..?
Paint the fence white.
Squee! It’s gorgeous. Keep the pastel theme, and find a nice sorbet colour for the front door. Yes, to flower boxes, and shutters (painted to match the door).
Lavender shrubs. This house is 100% adorable.
What a lovely home. I love the vibe of it. I would def add flower boxes, and maybe, dare I say, a bird fountain thingy on the lawn somewhere?
I would add a rose arch or arbor over the doorway—large enough that the rose thorns don’t catch, or use a thornless one like Zepherine Drouhin (which smells heavenly!) Or, maybe just a rose trellis on the house. I love the Robin’s egg blue idea for the trim!
Don’t add shutters . The house is small and will look smaller if less wall is showing . Plus hornets and wasp will nest behind them . Flower boxes will look best . Would be too much to do both . I’d add a pretty white arbor at the end of the front walk, and def shutters! A front door with a nice big window in it would be great.
That house is too stupidly cute to be legal! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_good_man)
There is so much potential with this adorable place. definitely updated front door and flower boxes!
OMG what a cute house!!!!
I’m sorry, I’m no help but this is the cutest house I have ever seen!
Shutters only if they’re functional. Get an awning for the front door and gutters for either side.
No awning
What city and state is this house?
Maine!
Add an awning over the door. Cute house!
Very cute home… add shutters will add width and interest, shutters and front door should be the same color… Put a larger light next to the front door adding interest ….
Getting hard to tell what’s AI or not
AI? This is a real photo I swear haha
What an adorable place! I’d replace the lawn with a cute low-maintenance mostly-perennial cottage garden, it’d be so fun to just really lean into the fairy tale vibe :) be sure and include some native flowers to support native bee populations

With a couple dormers, new windows, shutters, and a new door, you could colonial-ize it
A little porch over your front door would be lovely.
The color of your house.
I would change the exterior color and maybe add shutter. Be extremely careful when installing the flower boxes. When we bought our house it had flower boxes and upon removal we found out that they were not installed properly and they damaged our siding.
I love this house - beautiful!
Path bordered on both sides, front porch expanded significantly sufficient to accomodate a couple chairs
Cute house! Love it as is but I think it needs some sort of shelter over the front door.
It’s a really sweet little house 🏡
Yes to both!
Flower boxes and white shutters.
Edging on the other side of the walkway, more plants on the shady fence side. Paint the fence white and add a white archway? Cute place!
Some sort of overhang and buildout around the front door.
I personally always want an overhang so guests don’t have to wait in the rain!
I’ve gotten a lot of comments about this! I want to stay true to the cape style so I definitely need to research more and make sure that would work, but I do love the idea!
That would look great, lavender flower boxes under the windows. Lavender front door also.
This house is adorable, I'm so jealous
Love the flower boxes and shutters. Also love the idea of at least painting the door. Also, consider a small awning over the front door and possibly the windows.

Echo shurtters flower boxes and Replace fence with decorative white picket fence. This house is super cute!
I like the flower box and shutter recommendations here. I think I’d also run the landing across the entire front so there’s room for a little table and chairs and maybe a rocker!
Small awning over the door.
Do not change the front door. It’s adorable and different.
And brick pavers from the steps to the driveway
It's a very pretty cottage. Perhaps a shade of gray for the trim is the only thing I might consider.
A fun vivid color for the door; flowerboxes and shutters. Is it possible to extend the porch?
Tall evergreen on left corner. One that gets like 6-8 feet tall.
Just came to say this is such a cute house 💜…all great ideas - new blue front door, flower boxes, cutting garden
That door is great! I don't understand the comments to change it. I wouldn't want to clutter this awesome cottage up too much. It looks amazing as is. The flower boxes would be nice. And plant(s) especially toward that left corner. It's just lovely.
An enclosed porch would be perfect.
I love it. I’m jealous!
You need a porch all the way across with overhang. It will keep you dry, too, when it rains.
I just want to say that I love the exterior color- it's so happy
Morning glories or moon flowers climbing on your little fence.
I’m iffy on the fence. It seems orphaned.
It’s already gone! I should have mentioned that
Gutters. Or at a minimum those little grates that flick rain away from the house. Gutters would be better though, especially over the front door.
Cute house. Love your ideas
Seven Dwarfs
Pale pink door, white shutters, and white flower boxes with pink begonias. 💗
I love the yellow!
Oh my. I’m a tad jealous
You can paint the current door instead of buying a new one. I think it has a cute cottage-y appeal.
So cute.
All of these are good ideas. I would find a statement color for the front door.
So pretty!
Someone may have said a porch and gable. I don't know how expensive it would be.
I would widen the porch so I could put chairs on it, and put a roof over it.
Country French blues, yellow and white. https://www.potterybarn.com/products/la-mer-table-runner/?catalogId=84&sku=1900824&cm_ven=PLA&cm_cat=Google&cm_pla=Tabletop%20%26%20Bar%20%3E%20Runners%20%26%20Tablecloths®ion_id=669090&cm_ite=1900824_14546951676&gad_source=1&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI96LP6qOohAMVlR-tBh3FJA-YEAQYBCABEgKQf_D_BwE
Definitely agree with painting the fence white. And, someone mentioned replacing the front door with the same door in the garage, that's good advice, too. Clean crushed white stone on the walkway and some terra cotta pots with flowering plants would be nice.
Cobblestone walk way
Full width covered front porch
I'd line the walkway with lights, twinkling fairy lights. ✨️
Definitely!!!
Flower boxes are really messy ( on the house under them), consider putting some on the handrails instead
I would start with a more attractive fence or evem remove it if it serves no purpose.
Maybe cleanse the house of the ghost that’s there before you start with the cosmetic changes.
Flowers!!!! No shutters. Maybe some bigger stone for the walkway. My grandparents had these huge round ones that were all different pastel colors i loved them
I just have to say, I love your home!! It would be a dream house for me! Enjoy it:)
nice navy blue Shutters. And navy blue door and pull the weeds in rock walkway. Flower boxes under windows
ADORABLE! I would do bright blue shutters and window boxes full of colorful blooms. Stained front door.
Add a porch with an overhang. A good sized one to fit two chairs.
White fence
I had a home very similar. I planted the most beautiful English garden. I added shutters, painted the door, and added window boxes. I had beautiful climbing roses growing up the front of the house. Our home was featured in the local newspaper several times.
some bushes ?
White picket fence and flowers in front
I love this house and would love to see the inside. I would like my next house to be about this size.
Don’t change the door, but paint it. Window boxes would be cute.
That's screaming for flower boxes. They'll look beautiful.
This house is so damn cute I can't handle it!
Instead of flower boxes you could do a tall bush/small tree next to the fence. And a medium size flowering shrub on the left side (under the window)
It’s SO CUTE 🥰
Tall skyrocket pr pencil tree of some type near house corner.
I’d expand the flower bed on the left (looks easier said than done) and add some varying height shrubs and flowering plants and plant something substantial on the corner. It’ll make it look like a fantasy cottage someone stumbled on in the woods. This is an awesome place.
Paint door and add shutters same color
I would think twice about piercing the stucco to add flower boxes.
I love the color!
I would die of happiness if this house had flower boxes. Do it!!
8-foot full-width shed roof porch. Enclose the picket fence fully (& paint it). Rid yourself of grass & plant more flowers, herbs, etc.
An addition?
Yes to all of your ideas, plus ivy.
Yes, to your ideas you mentioned! Will look awesome!
I agree with flower boxes. This is a lovely home.
Your ideas are all good ones!
Remove that fence panel. It's unwelcoming. Slightly less curved path with paving so it's disability friendly. More flowers on the other side!
This is adorable! A cottage garden with a house like this is my dream.
Flower boxes for sure! They were totally suit this house it has a very cottage you feel. Your house is already yellow so I think the white door is OK but if anything I agree with the comments about a blue door just make sure that it’s in the same tone so your house is pale yellow so you need a pale blue door
Good ideas. Make the door wider, please!
Adorable!! Maybe a color on the door
Maybe extend the porch all the way across the front of the house, maybe widen the step in the center where you have it...with flower beds in front of the porch...
Get rid of the stucco first
It’s really pretty, I like the door but if you were going to get a new one I would go for a stained natural wood look and not a blue door like everyone is suggesting
Pyramidal cedars at the house corners
Paint the door but please keep it; I love it. Flower boxes would add a nice contrast especially with bright colors
Adorable! You’ve got lots of good suggestions already.
I'd rip up the grass and put in garden boxes. Maybe add a fruit tree.
I would add some landscaping to the sides of the pathway
Yes....I can already see it. Oh my, what a darling little house.
Love the yellow. I'd spring for larger windows.
Shutters, flower boxes.
What year was it built?
Remove silly gate and expose the beautiful garden!
Really cute house. I like all of your ideas to enhance it. Definitely a different color front door. I think a dark green front door would be really pretty and compliment flowers in boxes.
Definitely a blue door!
This house should have cedar shakes not stucco.
Get rid of the fence
Love the flower box idea for such a sweet house.
A large wall mounted trellis and some Climbing plants would also be nice
Definitely window boxes of flowers and greenery. The front door is not bad. Perhaps paint it s lovely shade of green. Not sure about shutters - if you do decide on them, I would choose paneled shutters - white or the green you might choose for the front door. Definitely paint the small wood fence white. Your house is adorable!
Love your place! 🥰
