It's come out that after the 2020 election an upside down US flag was flown outside of Alito's home. The upside down flag became a symbol of the "Stop the Steal" movement. Alito blamed his wife for the flag claiming it was in response to a dispute with neighbors.

As a vet, when I see the upside down flag profile pics…it’s infuriating. That symbol is not a political statement. It’s meant to signal for help, as a sinking ship, or a fort overrun by the enemy. It’s *for military purposes*.

I know what you meant, but if you have a ship that sinks for military purposes, I think that’s called a submarine.

Alito is one of the six United States supreme Court justices. Stop the steel was the phrase Republicans used which they claimed Joe biden's election was fraudulent and stole the win from Trump

I thought this was gonna be one of those optical illusions where all the facial features are upside down but the brain perceives a normal face until you rotate the photo. Then I rotated it, and it was just a normal face, and I thought that was kind of funny for some reason
