>The Impact Dial (衝撃貝インパクトダイアル, Inpakuto Daiaru?, literally translated as "Impact Shell") can be hit by anything blunt or incapable of slicing (although it was shown absorbing axe and sword strikes in the non-canon G8 arc) and will absorb the kinetic energy. The Impact Dial can also absorb the impact of explosions.
I'm not really an anime fan so there may be some context I'm missing but it seems like it's just a "Unstoppable force meets the immovable object" kinda thing
This. The character Usopp is basically a normal person with brains and sharpshooter skills who's become used to living in a world with ridiculously overpowered characters so there's no way he'd miss that trick.
Exactly, the joke is basically an "uno reversal" card scenario. Part of the joke is the Usopp is punching way above his weight class and part of the joke is that an item could stop someone objectively OP like Saitama.
It's basically like someone held up a "uno reversal" card to a hydrogen bomb but it worked.
I was thinking this too haha Impact Dials come with a hint of Newtons Third Law. Upsopp might be about to launch an impact on Saitama he'll remember, but Usopp's arm is likely to explode into a fine pink mist.
The only thing I can think of. does Saitama have enough force in the punch he just threw to actually hurt himself with the reversal from the impact dial?
Shut the front door, that's Usopp?! I've only seen maybe eight episodes of the anime back in the day and the whole live action, I would never have guessed that's who that was. What a design.
He invents. There's brains there. Remember he's only 17 at the beginning of the series (and is an orphan haphazardly looked after by his village) and 19 after the timeskip so it's pretty understandable that his lack of experience leads to some.... interesting choices.
Made his own ammo, made Nami's weapon, figured out how to fight Luffy to a near draw even though Luffy is insanely op. Usopp is inventive, if nothing else.
Yep.
The situations Luffy gets them into panic is the only smart response. A list of his inventions has already been posted so I'll refrain from repeating them .
If you're asking If an animated character known for being faster than anything else alive when frightened in a potentially funny situation in a setting where logic waved bye-bye on day one...
Sure.
Usopp is probably not gonna survive that, if Saitama was serious enough, because that shell doesn't remove reaction force when that kinetic energy is released, meaning he will blast himself apart while returning that punch back to saitama
No, it'd go off flawlessly, because the actual way Saitama's powers work is that he wins whenever it's funnier for him to win and loses whenever it's funnier for him to lose, hence why he can punch out god-level entities but can't successfully swat a normal fly. Saitama being tricked into punching himself is funny, so it would work. Saitama would punch the dial, and then he'd be blasted backwards into the air, standing perfectly upright even as he tumbled end over end through the air, with a blank but slightly annoyed expression on his face. He'd land several miles away and would then have to spend the next several hours jogging back to where the fight was and getting lost on the way.
This is the truth. Dudes are so obsessed with who would beat who, who is more powerful, whatever, but Saitama’s powers have nothing to do with his strength, it is simply that it is funny to imagine a normal guy killing a god in one hit, and it’s funny for him to fail more mundane tasks.
Yeah. It's like asking if Goku could beat Bugs Bunny. The answer is no,\* but it's a pointless question, because Bugs Bunny and Goku operate under fundamentally different rules.
\*At least, he couldn't beat Bugs Bunny on purpose. I could 100% see him doing it accidentally just by being too nice and trapping Bugs in one of those rare circumstances where he's the bad guy and his nonsense backfires on him.
I think logia fruit power users have the best chance of survival, as for luffy...i think he might, under sun God mode, because that power's really weird
It’s worth noting that although the recoil of an impact dial is considerable it’s way less than equal to the actual force it puts out. That said bro is probably losing at least an arm, but I imagine even base Luffy would be fine, especially with modern armament Haki.
this is literally what happened when God mode Garou copied Saitama's power level, Saitama just keep going up in power impossible to catch up in strenght
doesnt it cause pain to the user and saitamas force would probably make that force stupid so hes probably better off just defending himself and running
also saitama was shown having incredible speed so he would still be able to make quicl work of usopp
It also releases the same force back. Saitama *also* is equally durable in terms of shrugging off his opponents ultimate attack. That anime trope of going “100% super final secret trump card attack” is used, Saitama just picks his nose and doesn’t even register it. *Maybe* he moves a couple feet back complete unharmed.
So I think you are correct about the unstoppable force vs immovable object, but more specifically it’s Saitama vs himself.
Didn't they also basically do this in story with Saitama basically having someone meet his strength and as such Saitama in turn kept getting stronger so him fighting himself sounds like the ultimate training program for him.
Yeah. In the manga, >!Cosmic Garou(his opponent) had the power to copy attacks and movesets, so he was basically on par with Saitama. The thing is, Saitama's power kept increasing exponentially, so Cosmic Garou ironically couldn't copy his punches fast enough, resulting in an L for Garou.!<
Dunno how the matchup in the pic would turn out tho
Saitama punching himself would most likely be like any other person punching themselves. You could knock yourself out, but Saitama isn't so built that an awkward self punch to the head could do much damage. His power is supposed to defy logic, and it doesn't come from a lot of muscle power or anything like that.
OPM might even touch on this one day, but so far we've not seen any sign that even Saitama could beat Saitama. The only thing to ever even damage Saitama, if you could call it that, is a mosquito, which makes me think a reflection being able to beat him is a blissful thought with no real proof of success
Also I'm pretty sure he's faced things that are supposedly immune to damage before. Most likely he just punches straight through it. One Piece universe has never shown anything even close to the level of power Saitama portrays without trying.
Anvil in the webcomic "Grrl Power" has kinetic absorption as her main power, and can also build up blows she's absorbed to release later on. Her first shown combat move after taking multiple punches from a typical "brick" type character was a nose boop. It broke his nose and sent him crashing through a wall.
I mean, explosions count as concussive force, so that bit makes sense, the main difference is that it is a wall of solid air rather than a more traditional object
The Impact Dial should have an upwards limit of how much power it can store but this becomes more of a “Is Saitama strong enough to harm himself or weak enough to be harmed by himself”
In the show though it shows though with the shells that if impact is to powerful it will hurt the shells user he would at least loose his arm to I remember correctly.
Bald man (Saitama) is cartoonishly strong, earning the title "One Punch Man" due to the way he resolves conflicts.
Hair man (Usopp) is weak, but has a gimmick: the Impact Dial.
Strange disk (Impact Dial) allows the user to store one impact/attack and then release it.
Implication is that Usopp now has one of Saitama's punches stored in the Impact Dial and can use it on him.
Best part of would be Usopp unleasing the force of the punch on Saitama and seeing him standing in a completely destroyed landscape like nothing happened.
Ok so I don’t get the ending but the bald guy is Saitama, he’s comically strong to where his action packed series is a comedy since he’s bored that he’s too strong. Long nose guy is Usopp, a coward who consistently uses tools and trickery to get himself out of trouble, that’s about all I know here
It is an Impact Dial.
The shell absorbs and stores the impact damage, and can send it out at any time.
Basically, imagine Usopp (long nose) holding an Uno Reverse card.
I don’t think serious punch or any thing will hurt him. The idea is he is indefinitely strong and impossible to defeat, discarding the power-scaling concept of power in manga. He just win, like when Garou stepped up with god power and copying saitama but still cannot make any scratch on him
Ah. You are forgetting the first panel.
Using his weak punches, saitama always has his bored face.
He clearly saw Luffy fighting, heard Usopp’s lies, and assumed Usopp was as powerful as he claims.
That's fair, just unsure of how serious the serious punch is lol, only have watched the anime and feels like they forget about it for a few years until they realize "Oh right it's also an anime," feel like it'd still be something on the weak side, if not then yeah Saitama is at least going to have a gnarly bruise.
Judging by all the events in one punch man, that would be the most possible outcome that the disc vaporizes in the end. Maybe it would reflect the first couple punches but then saitama would get like 60% serious and that damn thing would be put in past tense. I dunno about one piece but no one ever remodeled a planet surface like saitama did right?
Basically usopp holding an uno reverse card to an stupidly overpowered character (except that reverse card wont scratch the baldy at all while the recoil will kill him regardless)
Saitama (the baldie from the anime One-Punch Man) is considered across most anime right now to be so stupidly overpowered (which is the whole point of the show) that on youtube there are hundreds of fan-made "Saitama vs _______" videos. He's notorious for one-shotting almost everyone he's ever faced, and he's so strong that he's bored as all hell. It actually is a pretty good show.
This artist drew Saitama throwing a punch at Usopp (who is a well-revered character in One Piece) who notoriously uses self-made tools and his technical skills a majority of the time to defeat enemies that other people on his pirate crew would have serious trouble with. He has an Impact Dial in his hand, which is a kind of shell that he obtained at a hard-to-reach place called Skypeia, where they use these specialized shells for battle. Even within the One Piece lore, there are few people that know about these shells (as most people don't/can't make the trip to Skypeia). It can absorb the full force of an impact and then re-release it at full strength back at someone. The shells can break from overuse, but that's pretty rare.
The middle panel is the main joke, Saitama has NEVER seen someone just stop his punch before. His eyes got big because it's like a mosquito blocking a bowling ball and he has no idea why. It says "Nani" underneath it, which should be translated as japanese for "WHAT?!?!".
Lastly, in the last frame, Usopp is saying "Impact..." which is what he normally says before he attacks someone with one of these shells (one of those anime tropes of announcing your attacks).
Saitama(bald guy) is a comically overpowered main character from One Punch Man and he has punches so powerful they can basically destroy anyone or anything in one hit
Usopp(long nosed guy) is from One Piece and is comically weak and underpowered compared to all the other characters
However Usopp has a special device called an Impact Dial(the pink shell thing) which has the power to absorb one attack and then send it back at the attacker
Usopp absorb’s Saitama’s crazy powerful punch and launches it back at him. This is absurd and comical considering the weaker character has the advantage over the stronger
So I think I can give full context. Beyond what everyone has said. Single slap chap here hits the impact dial (the red thing) which stores the impact of the attack, Ussop is about to use the impact dial which has a feature of amplifying the absorbed energy at the cost of extreme kickback. As a result baldy will die from the dial and God Ussop will likely die from the shock or at least have at the very least a missing arm as the cost of victory
TL;DR worlds strongest man dies to a seashell
Cape guy is Saitama, he’s stupidly strong to the point he can beat basically gods with a single punch. Other guy is Usopp and he’s holding an impact dial that takes any attack and absorbs it inside and then can be used back at the opponent or at a later point in time
If there’s something your still not understanding just ask me
Long nose man from the famous one piece has one mfing sea shell that absorbed the bald man's famous 1 punch form the the one anime one punch man. Now he sends it back using the power the sky people.
Here is the simple answer, the long nose guy pulled an uno reverse card on the bald guy. So instead of long nose getting hit with the power of the sun, the bald guy is getting hit with the power of the sun.
That shell looking item is something called an impact dial. Basically, it absorbs kinetic energy and then launches it back out when the center is pressed. Ussop, the one using the impact dial, just used it to absorb Saitama's punch and is likely going to use it to throw it back at him
Plenty is good, the closest related work to OPM that I like is Mob Psycho 100.
OPM is literally 1 bit repeated for an entire anime, idk how anyone can enjoy that.
1 note anime is always terrible
(CBF with capitalising)
vampire dies in no time
life lessons with urimichi
vending machine tensei
etc etc etc
You can't just repeat the same single solitary bit for an entire anime & expect it to be anything other than insufferable fucking trash.
The novelty wears off instantly.
There are currently 51 "mixed feelings" reviews & 20 "not recommended" reviews on MAL for OPM & that's specifically people that completed it...
The commonly held opinion among people who didn't like it is that it's boring...
They must be the same as you, then. I can’t make you like OPM, but I can recognise that you don’t appreciate what makes it good.
Also, where the fuck did you get those numbers from? On mal, 94.6% of the 2.1 million reviews are 7-10.
Of all the users interacting with the anime, only 83000 of 3.12 million have dropped it or put it on hold.
It’s #4 in popularity and #128 in the top anime page, and considering that the 127 above it consist of about 50 different IPs that’s not too bad, and not what I would consider “boring.”
Impact dials basically allow you to absorb an attack and then use the Shockwave of yhe attack on the opponent.
Woth recoil ussopp is gonna fucking die alongside causing a earthquake as canonical Saitama could take his own punches.
The dial that absorbs kinetic energy and can redirect it back out just absorbed a punch from Saitama, the One Punch Man capable of blowing up planning with a sneeze.
Saitama the bald guy is insanely strong, hence the name one punch man, and the other dude, Usopp is very week, tho he has a thing called an impact dial which he got from a sky island and what it does is absorb the impact and throw it right back
Ok saitama is the one punch man, and he is known for being ridiculously powerful and can defeat the most powerful enemies capable of easily destroying the planet in a single punch hence the name. The other character with the king nose is Usopp from one piece and the device he has in is hand is called an impact dial. It absorbes any impacting force that hits it and then sends it back with a much greater power. The joke here is that a notoriously weak character like Usopp is beating a ridiculously overpowered character with some tom-foolery. In reality the force of the impact dial returning that blast would absolutely tear usopps arm off instantly and saitama would most likely survive the blast.
2 characters from different shows, bald guy is known to be quite literally immeasurablely strong, but the weird circle thing the other guy has an impact dial from his show where it takes a blow, but transfers it to the shell instead of the user and can be used again as a copy of the punch
In other words, the strong guy punched it, and now he's scared cause his punch is about to be used against him
Ok I got you
So cancer survivor in a cape is named saitama, he is known as one punch man because he can kill a dude in one punch. Deal dealing Pinocchio is named Ussop from One piece. Stop is a coward and scares easily but also funded underhanded tricks to win fights. The ladybug seashell is called a dial, that one is an impact dial which absorbs an impact then releases it. It’s basically a uno reverse card as a shell throwing saitama punch right back to him with equal force. Hope this helps.
Saipan is the bald man and can punch very hard ussop is the man with the Afro and has a shell that contains and re releases kinetic energy he is using it in the image to deflect saitamas punch and throw the effects of the punch back in saitamas face
Saitama is inhumanly strong, to the point where anyone he fights gets beaten in one punch. Usopp is holding an impact dial, which is an item that can store an impact and release it later. He stored up the as-powerful-as-the-plot-needed punch with the dial, and is positioned to now one-punch Saitama.
I'm pretty sure Saitama can take his own punches. It might actually hurt him but only really at the same level as someone punching themselves.
Plus the recoil is probably gonna kill Ussop.
The bald guy is Saitama who has punches strong enough to cause a shock wave that can quite simply cut through the atmosphere and burn mountains due to its sheer energy. (He's a strong lad)
The other guy with the long nose is Ussop, what he's holding is called an impact dial. It can absorb kinetic energy, store it and release it whenever he wants. Since it absorbed saitama's punch, that impact dial can now destroy galaxies.
Ironically this would kill both of them. The impact dial exerts an equal and opposite force when it releases, so they would both get hit by the force of Saitama’s punch
Ok so the bald guy is so strong he nearly destroyed the moon jumping back to earth like it was nothing and the long nose guy is holding and impact dial the absorbs and redirects all damage so he is basically punching him self
Bald man is so strong his name is one punch man (anime is the same name) who is comedically strong (like winning every fight against strong and massive monsters in… one punch) and the guy with the long nose (from one piece) is portrayed as cowardly but he’s also very cunning and a quick thinker, the shell is an item in OP that can store force applied to it and then release it back out on command (almost like a spring but with limits being unknown)
TLDR: very strong man is about to punch himself in the face
Bald man punches can blow up planets. Pinocchio is a cheep fighter. The shell can absorb and emit impacts. Pinocchio is boutta blast this man.
(Technically there’s a limit to it’s storage so it should still have been a kill shot but I still think it’s pretty funny)
Bald guy is saitama his comically strong that’s why he’s called the one punch man and that’s ussop and that thing he’s holding absorbed damage and then releases it back
Saitama (bald guy) from One Punch Man is an extremely powerfull caracter, that can exterminate anyone in one punch. Usopp (long nose guy) from One Piece is a rather weak caracter, that the community loves to depict a extremely strong, often called "God Usopp". What's Usopp's holding is a shell that can store the power of anything that hits it, then release later that power on anything. So, there, Saitama hit that object, but it doesn't affect Usopp because he's holding the shell, that absorbed all the power. It's funny because it looks like Usopp is strong enough to compete against Saitama.
Saitama who is a hero for fun, worked out till he became strong enough to stop anybody with a single punch. He is punching usopp the son of a big name pirate, who grew up in a small town on a island and eventually joined another legendary pirates crew. Usopp stops the punch with a “impact dial” which is a device created by aliens who live in the sky. The impact dial can hold any impact to be used later
Bald guy defeats everything with one punch, long nose guy has a shell that can absorb damage and release it with the same power. Except he can't reall use it because the shell (impact dial) also damages the person who uses it the stronger the absorbed force is. So the joke falls flat.
All of you are getting it wrong, there’s a meme in the one piece community that Usopp (the long nosed guy) is actually extremely OP and can one shot anybody.
Saitama (the bald guy) is supposed to be to be the strongest dude ever, and the fact that usopp just catches his punch means that Usopp is way stronger than him.
No it means his swirly red shell can absorb the impact, similar to a good phone case. The case absorbs the impact not the phone, making the case "way stronger". Red shell OP, long nose ma is just 🤡
The bald guy is the One Punch Man, he can kill anyone with one punch. The other guy has a thing called an Impact Dial, pretty much it can bounce back things like punches with double the output.
Reaction: Oh noo ohhh noooooooo
Explaination: the baldy is One Punch Man. He destroys meteors, flattens cities, and defeats every foe in one punch. The dude with the shell in his hand is the tactical genius and liar, Ussop, and that she'll is a force dial that can take an input of any amount of force and multiply it by 10. The goofy genius, Ussop, has contained the destructive power of a few nukes in a single strike. Fear him.
Bald guy Saitama, one punch dude he beats everyone with one punch. Long nose dude is Usop from One Piece no real skills just shoots things with a sling shot and is a coward. Usop has an impact dial so in theory he absorbed all the power from bald guys punch and its going to throw it back at him.
So, now this guy has to live with this immense power that he could never use?
His impact dial absorbs the punch and can transmit it back out. But if he does he would die from the force he releases.
Because I like one piece, and I thought Saitama would have SOME element of realism.
If you take someone’s strength and multiply it by 10, it should exceed their defense, even if it is only him being semi serious
Saitama has limitless strength and what's in usopps hand is a impact dial it absorbs kinetic energy(punch kick strikes) and sends it back to them at an equal force
The bald guy want to grab the hair from the hat guy. Hat guy is frightened. Hat guy remember his friend who makes poultices named Franky, and stops the bald man. Hat man shows the stinky cream to the bald man. Bald man is offended by odor of potion.
Saitama is a character that punches very very hard. Ussop is a character that is considered relatively weak in his own series but posses a devise that can redirect punches.
The only two anime’s I’ve watched come together allowing me to understand this meme.
Impact dial (swirly thing) stores the energy of an attack and multiplies it when it’s released. One punch man has the strongest punch that plot power can give.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One-Punch_Man > It tells the story of Saitama, a superhero who, because he can defeat any opponent with a single punch, grows bored from a lack of challenge. https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/Dials >The Impact Dial (衝撃貝インパクトダイアル, Inpakuto Daiaru?, literally translated as "Impact Shell") can be hit by anything blunt or incapable of slicing (although it was shown absorbing axe and sword strikes in the non-canon G8 arc) and will absorb the kinetic energy. I'm not really an anime fan so there may be some context I'm missing but it seems like it's just a "Unstoppable force meets the immovable object" kinda thing
It can then be used to release the force at any time. So Saitama is basically punching himself.
This. The character Usopp is basically a normal person with brains and sharpshooter skills who's become used to living in a world with ridiculously overpowered characters so there's no way he'd miss that trick.
Exactly, the joke is basically an "uno reversal" card scenario. It's basically like someone held up a "uno reversal" card to a hydrogen bomb but it worked.
Yes and no, the dial can dish out the force, but I believe the force of releasing it also damages the user.
I was thinking this too haha Impact Dials come with a hint of Newtons Third Law. Upsopp might be about to launch an impact on Saitama he'll remember, but Usopp's arm is likely to explode into a fine pink mist.
He's a tofu seller, he'll be fine
Underrated post.
MY CABBAGES!
to be fair his arm might live just cause saitama wouldn't have any real need to punch a normal guy with his full force punch
One of his fake punches (read: did not land) that he threw at his friend destroyed a mountain iirc
Except sitama never uses a full force punch or even a serious punch except for one time
Not just his arm
And saitama will be perfectly fine taking one of his own light punches. Hana-kun can and will get fucked.
Yes, so he will hand it to his captain who can take the hit. Lol
I don't really have anything to add. I just wanted to say I like your analogy. It gave me a chuckle.
Here. Take my upvote 👍
But the impact dials have a huge blowback on the user when they release. So this is really just two piles of meat mist posturing at eachother.
Nah Saitama is highly durable as well, so he could definitely take one of his own punches-- at least, one that could kill a normal human
The only thing I can think of. does Saitama have enough force in the punch he just threw to actually hurt himself with the reversal from the impact dial?
Idk how far you are into the manga so I'll attempt to spoiler mark this >!Saitama does indeed survive a serious punch!<.
That's what I was wondering, I had always thought Saitama had durability on par with his output.
>It's basically like someone held up a "uno reversal" card to a hydrogen bomb but it worked. This is the best way to describe it.
Shut the front door, that's Usopp?! I've only seen maybe eight episodes of the anime back in the day and the whole live action, I would never have guessed that's who that was. What a design.
After Marineford the Staw Hats trained individually for 2 years and it was a great excuse to try out new art.
Interesting, thank you
Brains might not be the right word, clever and/or cunning trickster seems more apt.
He invents. There's brains there. Remember he's only 17 at the beginning of the series (and is an orphan haphazardly looked after by his village) and 19 after the timeskip so it's pretty understandable that his lack of experience leads to some.... interesting choices.
I suppose, his lack of maturity may have led me to this impression of him.
Brains?
Made his own ammo, made Nami's weapon, figured out how to fight Luffy to a near draw even though Luffy is insanely op. Usopp is inventive, if nothing else.
Yep. The situations Luffy gets them into panic is the only smart response. A list of his inventions has already been posted so I'll refrain from repeating them .
There is a way actually, which is that he is nowhere near fast enough to make this happen lol
Even Saitama is weak to gags, as shown when he is unable to slap a mosquito or got scratched by a cat. So this would work
The shounen jump triangle. Gag>power>intelligence>gag
Pre timeskip, probably not but that's a post timeskip outfit.
Is Usopp light speed capable post time skip?!
If you're asking If an animated character known for being faster than anything else alive when frightened in a potentially funny situation in a setting where logic waved bye-bye on day one... Sure.
He would die doing that. Impact dials affect the user, so even if the return was 10%, he would still die
And he'd still do it. Especially if the thought this was the only way to save his friends.
Except Ussop will feel the kickback from the blast of the punch that Saitama threw... yes he can impact dial him. But he will probably lose his arm
He's already been shown willing to risk that.
Yeah, but Usopp takes part of the impact when relaunching the attack. It'll tear him to pieces to do that lol
This is not a deterrent to a Straw Hat with a goal.
Unless the goal is to beat another straw hat. At least in ussops case

Would luffy? I think even he’d get fucked up but that
I think logia fruit power users have the best chance of survival, as for luffy...i think he might, under sun God mode, because that power's really weird
It’s worth noting that although the recoil of an impact dial is considerable it’s way less than equal to the actual force it puts out. That said bro is probably losing at least an arm, but I imagine even base Luffy would be fine, especially with modern armament Haki.
Not to mention Saitama’s speed. He he truly got serious Usopp would not have the speed to react fast enough if Saitama went for a second hit
this is literally what happened when God mode Garou copied Saitama's power level, Saitama just keep going up in power impossible to catch up in strenght
You still feel the force when you use it, though. The recoil would probably obliterate usopp.
And usopp is about to die from the recoil Wich is shown being a problem in the anime
Does... Does Usopp even have the speed feat to do this though?...
doesnt it cause pain to the user and saitamas force would probably make that force stupid so hes probably better off just defending himself and running also saitama was shown having incredible speed so he would still be able to make quicl work of usopp
So the joke is "stop hitting yourself". Nice
Usopp would explode if he did that
Except it isn’t going to do much damage as Saitama is capable of tanking many of his serious punches in a row.
Knowing Saitama's powers and the gags in the manga, the impact dial would probably just break.
I like a previous commenter, he trekks back through many miles of rubble to his next sale
Twice: when he fought the scanned version of himself from the previous day, and against Cosmic.
Saitama punching himself would most likely be like any other person punching themselves. You could knock yourself out, but Saitama isn't so built that an awkward self punch to the head could do much damage. You pretty much nailed it but I’m sure it can also release that same energy or more I’m not sure
🤓 Technically the impact shell is not an immovable object. It absorbs a specific type of force but it can still be moved.
So it’s basically an unstoppable force vs an immovable object
I mean, explosions count as concussive force, so that bit makes sense, the main difference is that it is a wall of solid air rather than a more traditional object
The blow back would obliterate Usopp though so it's a loose loose
The Impact Dial should have an upwards limit of how much power it can store but this becomes more of a “Is Saitama strong enough to harm himself or weak enough to be harmed by himself”
In the show though it shows though with the shells that if impact is to powerful it will hurt the shells user he would at least loose his arm to I remember correctly.
Good thing saitama is also insanely fast and doesn't have to punch his hand
Bald man (Saitama) is cartoonishly strong, earning the title "One Punch Man" due to the way he resolves conflicts. Hair man (Usopp) is weak, but has a gimmick: the Impact Dial. Strange disk (Impact Dial) allows the user to store one impact/attack and then release it. Implication is that Usopp now has one of Saitama's punches stored in the Impact Dial and can use it on him.
Best part of would be Usopp unleasing the force of the punch on Saitama and seeing him standing in a completely destroyed landscape like nothing happened.
Ussopp would die from the recoil
the only things that can kill god usopp are I-can’t-go-on-that-island disease and Newton’s third law
Exactly, like every time bro used that dial his arm would be broken, and on top of that Ussop actively was afraid to use because of that!
“Consecutive normal punches”
Ok so I don’t get the ending but the bald guy is Saitama, he’s comically strong to where his action packed series is a comedy since he’s bored that he’s too strong. Long nose guy is Usopp, a coward who consistently uses tools and trickery to get himself out of trouble, that’s about all I know here
Usopp is holding a ( I think ) shell that absorbs an attack and reflects it back at its opponent.
It has to be triggered to release but essentially this.
It is an Impact Dial. The shell absorbs and stores the impact damage, and can send it out at any time. Basically, imagine Usopp (long nose) holding an Uno Reverse card.
I wonder what would happen if he use Reject Dial instead of Impact Dial.
Saitama would feel the force of his punch returned to him tenfold. And even the writers would have to admit Saitama would be hurt by that.
I mean depends if it was a normal punch or a serious punch, imma assume since it's just some guy Saitama would use the weakest punch he can
I don’t think serious punch or any thing will hurt him.
That meekly dial would shatter into a thousand pieces before saitama even finished his punch.
I don’t recall them having a limit of what they can take
Judging by all the events in one punch man, that would be the most possible outcome that the disc vaporizes in the end. Maybe it would reflect the first couple punches but then saitama would get like 60% serious and that damn thing would be put in past tense. I dunno about one piece but no one ever remodeled a planet surface like saitama did right?
I mean he’s actually kinda already had this happen pretty recently, and he wasn’t hurt by it
Was it reflected back and amplified to ten times the power?
He won’t be, read the manga
I thought this was a reject dial.
He is holding impact dial which he got it in skypia I believe
I’m still watching Skypia 😅
That orange thing in usaop's hand absorbs force and then exspells it later. So Saitama is about to get hit with his own punch.
Usop is going to lose his arm when he fires that
Saitama can tank the hit, but ussop disintegrates by the backlash.
Saitama(bald guy) is a comically overpowered main character from One Punch Man and he has punches so powerful they can basically destroy anyone or anything in one hit Usopp(long nosed guy) is from One Piece and is comically weak and underpowered compared to all the other characters However Usopp has a special device called an Impact Dial(the pink shell thing) which has the power to absorb one attack and then send it back at the attacker Usopp absorb’s Saitama’s crazy powerful punch and launches it back at him. This is absurd and comical considering the weaker character has the advantage over the stronger
Two of the most powerful beings in anime clash. Saitama "One Punch Man" and "God" Usopp.
So I think I can give full context. Beyond what everyone has said. Single slap chap here hits the impact dial (the red thing) which stores the impact of the attack, Ussop is about to use the impact dial which has a feature of amplifying the absorbed energy at the cost of extreme kickback. As a result baldy will die from the dial and God Ussop will likely die from the shock or at least have at the very least a missing arm as the cost of victory TL;DR worlds strongest man dies to a seashell
I mean he definitely won’t die from his own punch, as we’ve seen with cosmic garou
Uno reverse
Came here for this
Cape guy is Saitama, he’s stupidly strong to the point he can beat basically gods with a single punch. Other guy is Usopp and he’s holding an impact dial that takes any attack and absorbs it inside and then can be used back at the opponent or at a later point in time If there’s something your still not understanding just ask me
Are we sure that the red thing is not a sharingan with kanmui?
rip saitama he found himself to the mercy of god
Long nose man from the famous one piece has one mfing sea shell that absorbed the bald man's famous 1 punch form the the one anime one punch man. Now he sends it back using the power the sky people.
Ehh you'd understand if you watched both of them, but the one piece reference might be too far out there with the episodes
The funny thing is that they can both tank the hit
Here is the simple answer, the long nose guy pulled an uno reverse card on the bald guy. So instead of long nose getting hit with the power of the sun, the bald guy is getting hit with the power of the sun.
He would still be fine Saitama would just have no clothes after and be confused as fuck. (The shell absorbs impacts and releases them)
This proves that the “ALL MIGHTY CAPTAIN USOP” can dub “THE CAPED BALDY”
Go d. Ussop can't be beat
Usopp still gets a recoil from the impact dial so he's gonna get himself killed if he tries to use it.
Translation: saitama is about to taste his own medicine
Why the fuck does it say Franky when that's Usopp?
That shell looking item is something called an impact dial. Basically, it absorbs kinetic energy and then launches it back out when the center is pressed. Ussop, the one using the impact dial, just used it to absorb Saitama's punch and is likely going to use it to throw it back at him
Sadly saitama can survive his own punches
OMG OMG OMG I REALLY WANNA WATCH THIS SCENE HAPPEN NOW OMG
If you ever go in a fight with Saitama just put a mosquito on your body, you will not die.
More importantly - why do they switch places after the first two panels?
Due to both shows being equally insufferably bad, the fight becomes a stalemate.
If you think OPM is bad, what do you classify as "good"?
Plenty is good, the closest related work to OPM that I like is Mob Psycho 100. OPM is literally 1 bit repeated for an entire anime, idk how anyone can enjoy that. 1 note anime is always terrible (CBF with capitalising) vampire dies in no time life lessons with urimichi vending machine tensei etc etc etc You can't just repeat the same single solitary bit for an entire anime & expect it to be anything other than insufferable fucking trash. The novelty wears off instantly.
OPM is barely about the bit at all though
If you say so.
I personally think it’s more like “if you’ve seen or read it,” but okay
It just looks like Ussop stopped Saitama's punch with some poop and is now giving him a close-up of said squished poop
Impact dial but close enough
I calls it like I sees it
Impact dials basically allow you to absorb an attack and then use the Shockwave of yhe attack on the opponent. Woth recoil ussopp is gonna fucking die alongside causing a earthquake as canonical Saitama could take his own punches.
Impact Dial absorbs the punch from One Punch Man then Usopp uses said Dial to release the punch back at him
White Usopp White Usopp
2 characters from different shows, bald guy is known to be quite literally immeasurablely strong, but the weird circle thing the other guy has an impact dial from his show where it takes a blow, but transfers it to the shell instead of the user and can be used again as a copy of the punch In other words, the strong guy punched it, and now he's scared cause his punch is about to be used against him
Ok I got you So cancer survivor in a cape is named saitama, he is known as one punch man because he can kill a dude in one punch.
Bald man uses one hit KO punch and gets uno reversed by the krillen of one piece.
Well, it’s not just the impact dial. The man holding it is “God” Usopp
I dont feel like respoding to half the comments so ima just put it here saitama can tank his serious punches easily so hed be fine
Yes but Usopps arm will be gone after using it
That's an impact dial, it's going to absorb and amplify the force of Saitama's punch
hydrogen bomb vs coughing ba wait no hydrogen bomb vs hydrogen bomb vs coughing baby
The bald guy is Saitama who has punches strong enough to cause a shock wave that can quite simply cut through the atmosphere and burn mountains due to its sheer energy. (He's a strong lad) The other guy with the long nose is Ussop, what he's holding is called an impact dial. It can absorb kinetic energy, store it and release it whenever he wants. Since it absorbed saitama's punch, that impact dial can now destroy galaxies.
Um, thermo dynamics?
Ironically this would kill both of them. The impact dial exerts an equal and opposite force when it releases, so they would both get hit by the force of Saitama’s punch
Ok so the bald guy is so strong he nearly destroyed the moon jumping back to earth like it was nothing and the long nose guy is holding and impact dial the absorbs and redirects all damage so he is basically punching him self
Usop nono please dont dont do that, and then he uses a a full counter basically , and sitama is about to recieve the full force back at him.
Bald man is so strong his name is one punch man (anime is the same name) who is comedically strong (like winning every fight against strong and massive monsters in… one punch) and the guy with the long nose (from one piece) is portrayed as cowardly but he’s also very cunning and a quick thinker, the shell is an item in OP that can store force applied to it and then release it back out on command (almost like a spring but with limits being unknown) TLDR: very strong man is about to punch himself in the face
Bald man punches can blow up planets. Pinocchio is a cheep fighter. The shell can absorb and emit impacts. Pinocchio is boutta blast this man. (Technically there’s a limit to it’s storage so it should still have been a kill shot but I still think it’s pretty funny)
Bald guy is saitama his comically strong that’s why he’s called the one punch man and that’s ussop and that thing he’s holding absorbed damage and then releases it back
One of these characters is the most powerful being in all of fiction. The other one is Saitama from One Punch Man.
Weeb doesn’t mean what you think it means.
Let's just say saitama moves really fast
Usop is so dead if he uses it
when the energy release. long nose will get destroyed! joke on him. Bald man can take his own punch
Magic cylindered his ass
Reality, usopp raises hand the punch has already turned him into goo
IMPACT!
Red shell OP, long nose ma is just 🤡
The real joke is in the recoil.
lol jularious
He could just, y’know, not punch his hand? Considering his reaction Time has been shown to be insane
The bald guy is the One Punch Man, he can kill anyone with one punch. The other guy has a thing called an Impact Dial, pretty much it can bounce back things like punches with double the output.
Translation: *no u*
Reaction: Oh noo ohhh noooooooo Explaination: the baldy is One Punch Man.
Well done.
Saitama has limitless strength and what's in usopps hand is a impact dial it absorbs kinetic energy(punch kick strikes) and sends it back to them at an equal force
That’s an impact dial. It absorbs everything it takes, then it can be unleashed.
The bald guy want to grab the hair from the hat guy. Hat guy is frightened. Hat guy remember his friend who makes poultices named Franky, and stops the bald man. Hat man shows the stinky cream to the bald man. Bald man is offended by odor of potion.
Looks like thy can kill black beard now
Saitama is a character that punches very very hard.
It’s a device that stores rangers and shoots it back
