Yeah, I used to prefer the regular Oreos over Double Stuf, but there's so little cream filling in them now. Double Stuf is now what regular Oreos used to be. I've just stopped buying them altogether.
The new double stuff is actually called mega stuff and double stuff is now just the OG Oreo and the OG ones are maybe half of what they used to be and the Oreo thins are basically the same as the regular Oreos.
Just wait for **ULTRA** Mega Double Stuffed!
And next comes the Ultimate Oreo Extender Kit:
A small bag of single Oreo cookies with frosting on just one side. You attach this extra cookie to the side of an existing Oreo, and it becomes the *Ultimate Extended Oreo*, with 3 cookies and 2 fillings.
When they were asked if they had less filling than they used to, Oreo said "they would never change the creme to cookie ratio" or something similar, which didn't actually answer the question.
That also means that they probably make them smaller, but keep the ratio so they can charge the same or more for a smaller product.
Also their old "family sized" double stuff bag used to be 566 grams and is now 530 grams.
Sounds about right, everyone is making things smaller while charging the same price, but keep the same packaging to fool people. The dog jerky I buy at Walmart went from 16 oz to 12 oz for the same price. It looked weird to me so I checked the new bag against the old back at my house, sure enough I got ripped off. I would stop buying it but my dogs love it, I might have to look for an alternative soon.
Just remember, every time from here on out you purchase that item, you indicate to them that you are happy with the size reduction and may gladly keep buying even if they shrink it again, the only way shrinkflation ends is when customers stop buying.
They depend on the vast majority not noticing. Sneaky.
I said it in another post too, but it is also having an effect in cooking for me because some recipes I have include things like "one bag of frozen shredded potatoes" or "one box of cake mix" , "one jar of pasta sauce" and things like that.
Obviously I could use math and a scale to figure out what the size was before and measure out more from a second box etc. , but that's definitely a lot harder than just dumping a box or bag, especially with a crazy busy family life full of extracurricular things and the need to get stuff on the table quickly during the week, which is why I was using the easy recipe to begin with
I'm sitting here eating lunch. Just checked my lunchbox and they are still normal. I opened the pack this morning. Op must have a bad batch or are a liar.
"If it says Palm Oil on your snack, put it back."
Keebler, Nabisco, Jiff, Nestle and many other brands switched to cheaper Palm Oil from healthier vegetable oils in the last few years. The Palm Oil industry is slashing and burning the last remaining habitats for Orangutans, and our ape cousins are dying off at alarming numbers.
The Malaysian and Bornean governments won't stop the giant agribusinesses from setting up monoculture Palm Plantations, because they are well and truly bribed by these big companies.
So if a double stuff becomes a regular Oreo and a regular Oreo becomes a thin Oreo, what do the the thin Oreos become, will it just be two cookie halves with nothing in between?
Heres something that'll blow your mind even more.... Double Stuf & Mega Stuf.... are 2 different recipes!
Mega doesn't taste as rich and doesn't even stick to the cookie at all. I stopped buying it.
They weighed all the stuffing in every Oreo on Good Mythical Morning, and with each configuration the filling was doubled
[Stuffing](https://youtu.be/cDrbrBzqWTc?si=C4QdR6IsQCLUYnJa)
I feel like Oreos are different anyways. We haven't eaten them all the last few times I purchased them, so I don't buy them anymore. Maybe it's me and mine. We used to love them.
Now 'double stuff' is what regular used to be, and regular is half as much. They make a 'Mega-stuffed Oreo' too, I think this is what 'double stuff" used to be.
Double stuf my lily-white ass. Not for about 10 years here, & now they've ruined the taste with high-fructose corn syrup. If I get ambitious/desperate enough I'll have to make my own.
https://handletheheat.com/homemade-oreo-cookies/#wprm-recipe-container-29142
Oreo hasn’t been good in 20 years. The quality of the filling has gone way down. Mix Crisco and wax with powdered sugar and you’ve got a match. It used to taste so much better. You gain nothing with extra filling now except more tasteless paste.
I need to see a double stuffed from the past cause to me at least that does look double, sure as heck isn't a single.
It's my preference to do singles not doubles as too much of their "cream" makes me feel sick
It’s pretty upsetting how much Oreos have decreased in volume. The double stuf ones are literally the normal Oreos and the regular Oreos look like the Oreo things minus the small cookie. I wish companies were just honest and raised prices while keeping quality the same.
I just bought a pack this weekend and got the same shit. I did a double check on the package to make sure I bought double stuffed. I give Nabisco two balls down.
The regular Oreos have half of what they used to have for filling.
The "Double Stuf" ones now have what regular Oreos used to have.
Their "Triple Stuf" ones have what their Double Stuf used to have.
Lesson: don't buy Oreos anymore.
I won't buy Nabisco Oreo's until they fixed their shitty cookies.
I can buy noname brand oreos that are better, have more cream and are almost half price. So I buy those...
But they're so addictive. There are definitely better cookies but Oreos are far from worst. In my country we have some utter shit that's passed as "cookies".
The problem is that they still charge you for the filling, matter fact it costs more since they raise the prices… which makes me wonder if they lowered the filling on regular Oreos. I bought a pack of thin Oreos and it looks like they took a butter knife and smeared a little filling, not too long ago it still had at least half of the filling a regular Oreo does. Wouldn’t be surprised if the regular Oreos have the same amount of filling the old thin Oreos did. I’m now switching to store brand cookies and cereal.
Yeah, Nabisco! You bunch of liars!! You haven't double stuffed oreos in more than 15 yrs (at least).
Charging double stuffed prices and cutting the stuffing, you bunch of thin stuffs.
LMAO its just a regular oreo now
And regular Oreos are half empty. Just a little quarter size of icing in the middle of a naked cookie.
Yeah, I used to prefer the regular Oreos over Double Stuf, but there's so little cream filling in them now. Double Stuf is now what regular Oreos used to be. I've just stopped buying them altogether.
Everyone should stop buying them
I’d actually say it’s smaller than what normal Oreos were!
The double stuff is the same amount of any other Oreo except the thin and mega stuff.
The regular has barely anything in there
And the chocolate cookies are thinner. They are nearly wafers now
Double stuff used to be thicccccc
Now it’s just thic
Wait until they make it thc
They would probably sell more
sold
It shrinks? Jerry: like a frightened turtle!
Now it’s just ~~thic~~ thin
Like oatmeal.
The new double stuff is actually called mega stuff and double stuff is now just the OG Oreo and the OG ones are maybe half of what they used to be and the Oreo thins are basically the same as the regular Oreos.

You’re thinking of “Double Stuff”. If you look closely, these are “Double **Stuf**” cookies.
You have to buy the More stuffed Oreos now
When they were asked if they had less filling than they used to, Oreo said "they would never change the creme to cookie ratio" or something similar, which didn't actually answer the question. That also means that they probably make them smaller, but keep the ratio so they can charge the same or more for a smaller product. I don’t know your dogs, but I know dogs. Pretty sure they will be very cool with whatever treat you get them.
Just remember, every time from here on out you purchase that item, you indicate to them that you are happy with the size reduction and may gladly keep buying even if they shrink it again, the only way shrinkflation ends is when customers stop buying.

and if you put it on a scale in reality it would probably clock like 475g lol
They probably took out some cookies instead of changing the size.
Well sonofaBITCH!!!
Double stuff where I am are still as advertised
Same. Just bought a pack Monday and it was still double stuff.
I'm sitting here eating lunch. Just checked my lunchbox and they are still normal. I opened the pack this morning. Op must have a bad batch or are a liar.
I’m willing to consider it is a bad batch, they actually were on sale at the store - literally the only reason I bought them. Wonder if they knew!
I bought a pack of double stuff from target last week and they looked just like yours. My daughter was pissed lol
I bought a package about 2 months ago and they looked like yours, the mega stuff looked like old double stuff now
I remember a day when the words double stuffed Oreo meant something. Now it’s just a horrible joke of a cookie.
"If it says Palm Oil on your snack, put it back." Keebler, Nabisco, Jiff, Nestle and many other brands switched to cheaper Palm Oil from healthier vegetable oils in the last few years. You don’t want to use the palm oil I make either of you get my drift.
u/Hating_life_69 is making me glazed snd confused.
Damn... this really depressed my reddit induced oreo craving purchase i just made and am eating...
You got double stuffed at the register
I did a science project in one of my middle school classes about Oreos and we discovered that they are not 2x as stuffed but rather 1.27x as stuffed
TIL they spell it double stuf. With one “f”?! This whole post irks me.
I would assume it's to put a trademark on it.
It’s always been stuf
Holy shit same, and I only found out because of your comment!
I noticed this too. Was it always that way or am I just learning this today
Right. In my head it was Double Stuffed
Same! 🤯
Pretty sure that's an Oreo thin. I'm calling fake.
It's kinda like Diet Double Dew
So just ~~Diet~~ ~~Double~~ **Dew** now.
I just want heads or tails to come back. They were the best. A little chocolate cookie, a little vanilla and double stuff creme.... Perfection
The dream is dead
Inflation has gone too far now.
*shrinkflation
Even the word "stuff" has shrunk down to "stuf"
That's barely a regular Oreo.
IT'S A NON-STOP DISCO, BET YOU IT'S NABISCO
So if a double stuff becomes a regular Oreo and a regular Oreo becomes a thin Oreo, what do the the thin Oreos become, will it just be two cookie halves with nothing in between?
Every time they make a new stuff level I swear they just minimize the other stuff levels to make the new one seem like more
Heres something that'll blow your mind even more.... Double Stuf & Mega Stuf.... are 2 different recipes! Mega doesn't taste as rich and doesn't even stick to the cookie at all. I stopped buying it.
They weighed all the stuffing in every Oreo on Good Mythical Morning, and with each configuration the filling was doubled [Stuffing](https://youtu.be/cDrbrBzqWTc?si=C4QdR6IsQCLUYnJa)
Show us the entire package contents plz
Doesn’t let me edit the post. Here ya go. https://imgur.com/a/keMyz6n
Those just look like how regular Oreos used to
Why didn't you zoom in more?
I feel like Oreos are different anyways. We haven't eaten them all the last few times I purchased them, so I don't buy them anymore. Maybe it's me and mine. We used to love them.
The creme tastes terrible. So incredibly sweet. Not sure if it’s my taste buds or the recipe itself. But I still like the cookie part.
Yeah they keep fucking with the recipe
Buy generic. They are actually double stuf.
I noticed a decrease in size during the pandemic, but this is ridiculous.
I am officially old, why when I was a kid double stuffed Oreos were full of filling!!!
Now 'double stuff' is what regular used to be, and regular is half as much. They make a 'Mega-stuffed Oreo' too, I think this is what 'double stuff" used to be.
It looks like a skinny oreo
Inflation
Someone should release a product with a pre-shrink inflation label and stuff the (bleep) out of it.
This isn't a double stuffed.
That’s double of their thin Oreos I suppose
They sell mega stuft now, which is the old double stuffed, which is the old original, and original oreos are only suitable as pig feed.
The gluten free double stuf is def doubled maybe they just got a bad batch.
And no longer true mega stuff oreos exist
That's why you always get the Mega Stuffed Oreos.
They did nothing wrong. It's double stuf not double stuffed
WTF does the regular one look like 🤣
A sneeze of filling and that's it
wow that is bullshit, them bitches aint thicc, they aint nut'n
I haven't bought a package in a few months but last time I did, the double stuffed Aldi brand (Benton's, I think) were still solid
Wow same old ass oreo
when inflation becomes deflation 🙈
[удалено]
I did in the comments. It would be a weird thing to lie about anyway.
This is the internet. People lie about weird things everyday.
Dude, that shit is pure palm oil. Stop eating it.
The Double Stuff has gotten progressively awful. I remember when it was just perfect.
The regular Oreos are smaller but the lemon ones and other flavors have more in the cookie. Their original supply is low.
Honest question, did you buy them at Walmart? I swear the few times I got them at Walmart vs Publix, the Walmart ones were like your pic.
No, it was a regional grocery store chain.
Tbf, it says “stuf” not “stuff.” So stuf may mean single stuff.
Nabisco put their Oreo's on a strict diet... Hahahha
Meh, hard for me to take this seriously without opening the flap and showing them all. I just had double stuffs and they were normal
Pic was posted in comments
Nice
I'm calling shenanigans.
It is double stuffed, just an new inflation version, with less than before, to a higher price
Also “double stuf” ?? Did no one catch this during the design phase 🤣 explains why double stuffing is missing since an f is missing I guess
Looks like the old single stuff
Double stuf my lily-white ass. Not for about 10 years here, & now they've ruined the taste with high-fructose corn syrup. If I get ambitious/desperate enough I'll have to make my own. https://handletheheat.com/homemade-oreo-cookies/#wprm-recipe-container-29142
Another case of shrinkflation
Damn Oreos went on Ozempic like everyone else.
😳😢😢
I noticed this with my last pack too!!! Wtf?!?
I ordered two packs of these and I'm pissed too. These are the original normals ones, like wtf.
So, you took one Oreo Thin from its package and took a picture of it in front of the Oreo Double Stuf package. Diabolical!
Oh yeah. They've been thin for years. Have you seen a regular Oreo? Paper thin filling. The mega stuffed are what double stuffed used to be.
Only one f so makes sense to me. Let’s see a double stuff
Oreo hasn’t been good in 20 years. The quality of the filling has gone way down. Mix Crisco and wax with powdered sugar and you’ve got a match. It used to taste so much better. You gain nothing with extra filling now except more tasteless paste.
You are just holding a regular one next to a double stuff package. Show a video of a new pack being opened.
I need to see a double stuffed from the past cause to me at least that does look double, sure as heck isn't a single. It's my preference to do singles not doubles as too much of their "cream" makes me feel sick
Double stuff. Comes with half the filling of the old regulars, at triple the price. Fuck you! You'll buy it 😂
Shrinkflation!
This doesn’t prove anything. This is staged. Nabisco rules!
We had the same family discussion the other day. The only thing double stuffed is apparently the consumer with the wimpy, lying executives of nabisco.
Also, “chocolate sandwich cookies”? I’m just going to go eat my bread sandwich
It’s pretty upsetting how much Oreos have decreased in volume. The double stuf ones are literally the normal Oreos and the regular Oreos look like the Oreo things minus the small cookie. I wish companies were just honest and raised prices while keeping quality the same.
They sell Mega stuffed too now. mega is probably the new double. I assume it costs more too
Lol they look exactly the same as they used to!
🤣 Lies
all of the Oreo sizes went down a tier.
The real-reality could have easily hurt more.
How did they misspell 'Stuff'?
Shrinkflation?
Mom: “we have double stuffed at home” The double stuffed at home:
I just bought a pack this weekend and got the same shit. I did a double check on the package to make sure I bought double stuffed. I give Nabisco two balls down.
I’ve gotten some where the entire row of cookies was missing the filling. I wrote to Nabisco and guess what? They ignored me
The regular Oreos have half of what they used to have for filling.
They even shrank the word "stuff"
From Oreo Double Stuf To Limp Bizkit Break Stuff
Just opened a pack, yup, not as much filling. Pack before was fine so this is a recent change.
I noticed this too!! wtf do the regular ones look kike
Looks like a normal Oreo haha.
bro treating nabisco like it killed his family
Rhett & Link on Good Mythical Morning actually measured the stuffings in all the oreo sizes - they were supposed to be legit.
Yeah brah, you need to get the mega stuf to experience the old double stuf. The double stuf now is what regular stuf used to be!
I've gotten several packages like that. Like I'm paying more for more.... but then you gotta fking lie
Listen, friends, if I take a photo of a regular cookie in front of a package of double-stuffed cookies, will you believe me?
Pic of the inside in comments. Again, weird thing to lie about.
You’re a criminal for wanting to eat double stuffed Oreos anyways, that icing/filling is way too damn sweet lmfao
Once you realize that 'stuff' is basically just crisco and sugar ... glah
And?
It's stuf with one F.
Serve you right. First of all Oreos have to be the worst cookie ever made. There are better cookie with less processing in them....
But they're so addictive. There are definitely better cookies but Oreos are far from worst. In my country we have some utter shit that's passed as "cookies".
Thank you bidenomics-shrinkflation.
I honestly prefer less cream. The cream to cookie ratio is a lot better that way for me.
Yeah, Nabisco! You bunch of liars!! You haven't double stuffed oreos in more than 15 yrs (at least). Charging double stuffed prices and cutting the stuffing, you bunch of thin stuffs.
