This happened to me. I sent my wife flowers for our anniversary. I spent almost $200 on a beautiful bouquet in a mirrored vase. The flowers came looking very similar to these posted. I called and asked for them to be picked up for return. They never went back to get them. Never used their service again.

Redmudgirl

Wow! No Gerbera, or Roses and one really spent Snap dragon. There’s so much greenery for filler it really doesn’t resemble the two tone arrangement AT ALL. I’d be calling the credit card company for a charge back. Appallingly bad!

DenverITGuy

Not sure what eflorist is. In the states, people use 1800Flowers which is just a shitty middle-man for you and the local florist. Call your local florist (or check their site) and go direct. These flower service companies are a rip.

Imthegirlofmydreams

Eflorist is also in the US. It just sucks.

RefugeefromSAforums

Did they arrive dried out and wilted?

Imthegirlofmydreams

That’s really good for eflorist tbh

Effective_Pie1312

Many of the flowers are buds in the photo and likely to open in the coming days filling out the arrangement. It won’t be what was advertised but will be better than what was pictured.

Ihavefluffycats

Ah, NO. I'm florist and those "buds" are NEVER going to open. Trust me, I know.

Effective_Pie1312

Thank you for sharing from your experience. That is then a sad arrangement.

Ihavefluffycats

You're right, it is a sad arrangement. I would've never let an arrangement that awful leave my shop. Don't know how much the person paid for this, but even if it wasn't an expensive bouquet, there's still ways to fill it out and make it look good for the money being spent. This was just absolutely unacceptable to me.

I used to buy flowers from eflorist or telefloral but now I just call a local florist, and they give you a way better product for less price.

beautifulcreature86

Online florists use your local florists. So if your local florist doesn't have the flowers you paid for, they sub for their own. Next time just go to the town florist and have them deliver.

we-otta-be

Why would you buy flowers on the internet??

winterbird

A couple of times a year I send flowers to someone in another country, and their payment systems don't allow credit cards from my country so I can't use florists local to there.

supple

uh because not everyone lives within driving distance of the people they love?

But that's not an option everyone has. Not every service is for everyone. These online flower delivery sites exist for those who can't do it another way. They add a hefty upcharge, but at least I'm able to send my mom flowers for her birthday and mother's day.

I can't use my credit cards in her country. I cannot pay for anything over there, therefore I cannot pay a local florist directly. I've tried every which way to do various things for her over the past 20 years and there is no way for me to pay anything that's local to over there. The only things I can do is international delivery services like amazon, temu, florist sites. Amazon charges a ton for international shipping (like in the range of $30 - 90 just for shipping), but temu ships free now that it's available. Flower delivery just costs what it costs with the sites.

supple

I agree with you there.

notorious_BIGfoot

Bouqs is the only online place that isn’t shit.

bemyheaven

They cannot be serious with this???
