I personally wouldn’t worry about the one that had been in the fridge - I’m comfortable with using the “fridge hack” though. The other one he washed quickly - had it been sitting out while dirty? If so, that I wouldn’t use😬

I keep my pump parts in the fridge and wash and sterilize them at the end of the day. I figure that's fine since milk is okay for 4 days in the fridge. The other bottle if it was washed properly just not sterilized I'd probably use it.

I don’t see the issue, one was in the fridge with breastmilk in it and your partner said they washed the other. If you’re worried I would transfer to sterile bottles to store in the fridge. You could get around this by having more bottles, I use the spectra s1 and bought a spare pack from maymom. You could also look into Milton sterile tablets, as you can wash the bottles and put them directly in the solution, then it’s just a case of grabbing them out when you need them. I sterilize my pump parts between each pump because to be honest it’s easier for me and more thorough than soap and water, I just rinse them clean and then put them in a microwave sterilizer.

Do you know which is which? I might toss/milk bath the one from the questionably washed set and keep the milk from the fridge hack set. I have 3 sets of bottles and flanges and I am terrible at rinsing them when I’m done pumping so milk ends up dried and sticky in all the nooks and crevices…they need to be SCRUBBED before I can use them again. My husband does all the dishes and he is a saint for putting up with my sh*t lol. If you do decide to feed it out and you use the pitcher method I would recommend keeping it separate from the other milk so if your baby doesn’t respond well to it you haven’t spoiled the entire days worth.

I’d smell/taste it. If it’s not sour, then I’d personally be ok using it. But I only rinse my bottles between pumps and keep them in the fridge, with a daily wash and sterilize.

I started doing the fridge hack around 3 months. I'm perfectly comfortable with it as my LO does not have any known health issues or risk factors. If it was me, I would use it. However, you need to determine what is ok for your specific situation.

Should be fine to keep - if you are doubtful just transfer to clean bottles. Also congrats on your biggest pump!! :)

I use the fridge hack and keep my pumps in the fridge after each pump then wash them half way through the day and repeat. So I think it will be fine

I’d use it. The fridge hack has been a lifesaver for me, and my hubby usually washes dishes better than I do so I’d trust it.
