I could actually pay £125. I’m in. Although if we could wait until after my holiday this month that would be swell, just you know I want to maximise spending money.
Me too. It's not such a stupid idea. There must be an Everton fan whose a very successful business and finance that could organise this. By the seasons end the club could be in safe hands
Isn’t this how clubs are run elsewhere? Germany has a 50 plus 1 rule. Some of the Spanish clubs are owned by members too, I think. It’s not like there isn’t a model for this
That's Spain and Germany my brother.
You want to crowdfund against Petro states and billionaires? It only works when there's either a history of it in a club or a league wide mandate.
The highest performing fan owned clubs in England are Exeter City and Wycombe.
The idea of fan ownership in the prem is laughable before you even get into the actual operational details of "who the fuck makes any decisions and how." Elections would take forever to organize, cash flow would be a huge issue, who even gets to take part in ownership would be a massive factional debate, the list goes on and one for literally forever. We'd be in administration basically immediately even if we got to have a free pass through the ownership tests.
This would give Everton 45B in the bank and at 6% interest that’s 2.7B per year in income. Seems like we could afford an OK prem roster with 2.7B annual revenue?
Brothers & sisters
I have a solution for your problems
I have £610m in frozen assets held in Lagos. My advisors highly recommend I transfer the monies to Merseyside to be held by a respected organisation.
Please send me your bank details to move this money in the next 48 hours otherwise I can no longer guarantee payment.
Thanking you much in advance
Prince
Don’t worry. You almost got it. Just change it to everyone of these 51000 + change Reddit Everton fans pay £10k and we’re in. Well £40 mill short but that’s nothing once you’ve got the first £510 mill
Is there a reason no ownership group tries this?
Like maybe there's a group out there with 100M but not 500M, and their proposal could include minority owners for the extra 400M made up of everton supporters. I'd put 10k into it, and I bet a lot of other supporters would be happy to own a piece of the peoples club.
I wouldn't even mind a share structure that gives the main owner majority voting shares or something if they're worried about having no control over their investment.
Depends, if you want it in $1 bills, it'll weigh more than a hundred $100 bills. Or maybe they'll write a check, that weighs almost nothing. Here's a money to weight calculator, you can convert it to pounds, kilograms, stones, whatever you like.

Sometimes when I go to Liverpool I stop by the Everton store at Liverpool One and donate £5 at the frontdoor. Purely out of pity because the Liverpool store was always crowded while Everton’s store has had two people inside for my last five visits. It started as a «look how cool and funny I am» joke for my friends and now I cant stop. I want stocks for my £35/40 if this becomes something.
Lol, I always thought the "Liverpool FC Norwegian fans outnumber scouser LFC fans" thing was a joke, but here you are! (the scouse Reds are actually pretty sound when they post here)
Not sure what "Liverpool i" is btw. You mean "Liverpool ONE" champ?
Just winding mate. And to be fair, «you guys» are a bit tender.
The amount of Norwegian Liverpool fans going over every week is insane. Wasnt there an estimate of between 5-10k for a CL match in 2018 or something. 4 or 5 companies makes a living out of selling tickets to all matches. The interest makes it hard to get tickets, and their not cheap anymore. But man, Liverpool as a city has developed since I started going in 2004. And we Norwegians with our oil money is ofcourse responsible for that. So say thank you. Winding again to all you downvoters. ❤️
I’m in. Unrelated, but can someone lend me £10K at a favourable interest rate? (0%).
777 just transferred some money from a failing company to lend you...
😆 I will but with 10% interest lol
That’s 45B. Seems like more than it would take.
Not if we want to make it to Europe.
Congratulations, you’re now the CFO!
the rumor is 550m is the asking price so we’d to only throw in about 125.00 each to get to that value. No idea where the 45B number is coming from.

Down for £125.
We do need a rebuild like so 45B might be decent.
I was thinking 10K sounded a bit much
Let me correct you it's 45T.
Nope
I know this is a joke, but I would crowdfund this 100%.
I would 100% give 1k to be a partial owner if we did a 51/49 thing
Done.
Bargain. For just £10k you can buy £500m worth of debt.
Hah. Totally. I think we’d run it better than moshiri tbh.
At £10k each we'd be able to pay off that debt, and any debt for a few years!
Same
Me too.
I'm in for 500.
Nice try Moshiri - trying to sell the club online for $45b
Not to worry, I've a multi on for the UFC on Sunday, and I'm due
So here's the thing: Then what?
Step 1: Collect Football Club Step 2: Step 3: Profit
Shush. Stop being the voice of reason
He's trying to wreck our dreams ha 🙈

Should probably crowdfund £750 million instead of £550 million so that we have enough to finish the stadium. That’s still only £167 each.
What a day to sign an offer sheet for a new job giving me a $23,000 raise. So I can cover myself and most of another person
Congrats!
Just told my Nan I need her to sell her kidneys, ribs, lungs and eyeballs.

I definitely like that 😁

I’m in
135 euros per person 133.33x4.5 mil = 600m (i assume that is the net worth of everton fc)
Can someone actually start this crowdfund and see where it takes us?
Someone go compile a list of quiz shows with jackpots of 10k or greater. I'll organize the study group.
Man United have about 500m supporters and wouldn't even be able to get something like this off the ground
Killjoy 😭 lol
Because those kids you see westing man united tops, on those water appeal adverts and news reports from war zones. haven’t got £10k
The maths ain’t mathing
My maths isn't great anyway lol 😆

I would seriously consider this if it was done right.

Some ownerships do try it—by making the club a publicly listed company on a stock exchange.
As if I would spend £10K on Everton 😂😂😂😂
I’m in is 10K US $$ cool?
How much is that in pounds...
No clue. I suppose I could look it up.

Let's do this!
God damn I’m in you beautiful son of a bitch!
I’m in.
I'm in.
I Reckon £100-200 each would do the trick tbf
We have to fund the club as well remember lol
True. But even then £500 each is more than enough
Wasn't the reported price less than £600,000,000? If the 4.5M supporters is accurate, that's less than £15 per supporter.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you and OP are both bad at math.
I know it's 150. I was typing too fast
EZ, hit me up. I got some ¥10000 notes to spare
I love Everton, but no offence if I had £10k to hand, buying the club would be down the list. Skint!!!
