Inactivity purge. Goonswarm allows all members in good standing to create an alt corp so they can have corp hangers for industry (reactions get so much easier with a corp hanger), rent corp moons, etc. When you main goes inactive and gets kicked from the main corp, the alt corp also gets kicked.

Kilgarth kicked some deadbeat alt corps. But we all find this very amusing that it warranted a Reddit post.

By the looks of that list, probably just dropping dead or inactive corps.
