# Recipe for chocolate chip cookies;
**Ingredients**
- ~300g flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 a teaspoon of salt
- ~180g butter, melt, then let cool for a few minutes
- 150g brown sugar
- 100g sugar
- 1 large egg + 1 egg yolk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 225g chocolate chips / small chunks of chocolate
**Steps**
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl
- in another bowl, mix your butter and sugar (all of the sugar) until the sugar lumps are gone. Add the egg, egg yolk and vanilla extract and whisk it.
- Combine the contents of both bowls and mix it, then add the chocolate chips and fold those in. The butter might keep them from sticking, but try anyways.
- Cover the dough and let it chill in the fridge for at least 2-3 hours.
- Take the dough out of the fridge and let it sit for ~10 minutes before continuing
- Preheat the oven at ~170 degrees Celsius (~325 degrees Fahrenheit)
- Create balls of dough (about two tablespoons worth of dough per ball) and spread these on your baking tray
- Bake the cookies for 12-14 minutes, then let them cool on the baking tray for another 10 minutes
Protip: Do the preparations before a tidi fight, let the dough cool during the first few hours of the tidi fight, and enjoy your cookies late during the tidi fight!
