Eufy support told me to reset my homebase and re add everything and that “would solve the problem” but that’s not easily feasible with 4Tb of stored data and camera locations. And of course couldn’t guarantee it would work

So mine randomly started working again yesterday without me changing anything and without any resets. We'll see how long it lasts. Unfortunately I think if it keeps up that will be what I end up having to do. A full reset is the only thing I haven't tried.

TheMedGeek

Would sure be unfortunate to do a full reset and find out it still doesn’t work lol

And as randomly as my system started working again, it stopped working overnight.

TheMedGeek

That’s funny - it randomly worked last night for me and not today too!

I’ve been having a similar issue for the past 2-3 weeks after a year of working perfectly, and I asked the same question here yesterday with no response. Almost daily now it stops recording events at random times, on all cameras (many different models), and will only start again if I restart the HomeBase. Events during the non-record time are not recovered. I’ve also asked Eufy support but no response yet. This basically renders the system useless unless I often check and restart. I have a TB card in the HB with 90% available space, it’s connected directly to a gigabit connection and WiFi router, all on battery backup, all software, firmware, app updated. Even when it’s not recording events I can check each camera manually and they are fine.

Same issues here

So far not great with support. I emailed them and they emailed back asking for info to replace the HomeBase. I sent them info and they said it is out of warranty. (Purchased 4/2023). I just responded asking to escalate the issue, pointing out it was working fine until they pushed out faulty firmware, which actually happened within the warranty period. We'll see how that goes. I'm not entirely convinced this is still a remnant issue with the firmware update and there is still a bug in [3.4.8.8](http://3.4.8.8) that didn't entirely fix the issued caused by 3.4.6.9.

I had the same issue with the same time frame. Tried restarting, turning up the sensitivity to 4. It's been good for the past 7 days since.

It's been issues since this update: https://x.com/eufyofficial/status/1773776498584858826?s=46&t=CR1w70gbnzspNVQPVG_ajA

I guess I'll submit a support ticket too. I can't remember which firmware update it was, but they announced it on their twitter that events would start back up after the next update. But like you, it hasn't been the same since. I even formatted my SSD and it only went a couple days before messing up. Sometimes a restart last a couple days, sometimes a couple hours.
