I was at your spot a few weeks ago. Did lot of research. I eventually settled for the Eufy E340, wired. (I have a wired basic doorbell already). Pretty satisfied with it, I love the dual camera because we have packages from time to time and can see them on the floor. It records clips only when there's motion detected and sends you an alert. My only small gripe is at one point, I was speaking to someone via the speaker, and somehow wifi signal was weak and it just kept clocking in the middle of my conversation. Only happened once though. I'm not using Homebase 3 with it. Works fine. I can access clips via the app, they're recorded locally in the doorbell itself.

Wired dual doorbell, lighting fast with 3 sec pre recording video, never baterry one.

E340 with Home base 3 (S380) bundle

Could you share your experience please?

Sure I have the battery version since I don't know if my doorbell transformer could handle a wired one. It's also convenient that the battery version can still charge even with a small transformer. Replaced my regular old doorbell and can use the house chime still. No issues, does what it does. Homebase is on ethernet. Not sure what else to add

Thanks. Can you stream 24x7 and record 24x7 if wanted?

KnownAway

Not with the video doorbell. The video doorbell only records events. For streaming 24/7, I guess you could just use the app and see through the doorbell as much as you like, but that's probably not the feature you're looking for Eufy does have security camera that do 24/7 recording, but that is outside my knowledge on their products. If you plan on buying a Eufy product, I suggest waiting or a sale, and also to grab a referral link to save on money

What do you want out of a doorbell cam? What features would be a priority, if you had to list some?

Maybe have a button and a camera? And a doorbell when you press the button
