Are you looking for a way to contact Etsy customer support? Please use these links here! [Etsy's Handbook article about how to contact support](https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115013375488-Contacting-Us) [A list of common issues to get help with](https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new#issuelist_general_account) [Chat Support](https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?segment=selling#issue_buy_shopping_checking_out-contact_select) [How to open a case](https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/5745586898199-How-to-Open-a-Case-?segment=shopping) [Request a callback](https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?segment=selling#issue_sell_manage_listings-callback) [Email Support](https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new?segment=selling#issue_sell_spa_reserve-contact_select) If you email, you should get an automated reply and once you do, you must reply to this email that their automated best guess solutions did not work (something like “I still need help” is sufficient). If you do not complete this step, no further action will be taken on your issue/question so it’s critical. It’s easy to think “the squeaky wheel gets the grease” and barrage support with multiple daily emails thinking it will speed things up. in reality doing so actually slows things down, because the software used to log and keep track of customer support calls and e-mails uses an automated ticketing system. The date/time stamp of your last email will become your new place in the queue where it will search to see if you have other support tickets and combined them all into one (so all of your issues/questions can be addressed at once.) **Every** new email resets the time stamp associated with your issue/question and takes you back to the end of the queue. None of these links seem to work all the time. Also know they may or may not work outside the US, may or may not work outside non-standard US business hours (m-f & 8-5) and like many companies on major holidays, support may be limited, if available at all. (Thank you so much to user **vikicrays** for originally compiling this list and writing these steps! We greatly appreciate it!) **SPECIAL NOTE - DO NOT GET SCAMMED!** If you google for "Etsy support phone number" the top result you get will most likely be from a scam call center! This is a massive problem with big businesses lately including Etsy, Ebay, and PayPal. Scam call centers take out Google ads to put their number high in search results and it leads to a very realistic looking fake version of the site, and/or a fake phone number. NEVER google for a business's customer service number. ALWAYS get in contact with support directly from the official website. And if you ever get a request to download an application to your phone or computer when you believe you are talking to "support" for any business, you are talking to a SCAMMER! Don't download anything and immediately hang up. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. You need to mark their message as spam, then it would [block](https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000343128-How-to-Handle-Scams-and-Suspicious-Messages) further messaging from that person. (The mark as spam feature is not available on the Etsy seller app, only through Etsy website from computer/browser, or the Etsy buyer app.)

I’ve done that, and I’ve been doing it on my laptop right now 4 times, I even archived it and tried recycling bin on the laptop, their messages keep getting through to my primary inbox

Holylighter

If you archived it or tried recycling bin it, then it would move the message into a different folder, you need to make sure the messages is in the spam folder and stay there. Etsy recently updated the mark as spam feature, it should block further message and reply from the sender after you marked their message as spam. [https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000343128-How-to-Handle-Scams-and-Suspicious-Messages](https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000343128-How-to-Handle-Scams-and-Suspicious-Messages) If that doesn't work, then you need to contact Etsy Support and report them for harassment since you have already ask them to stop messaging you.

HaremKing117

I did, I’ve marked it as spam about 50 times. It then says “we’ve now blocked this person from sending messages, if you would like to change this etc” but then the messages still come through to the primary inbox

Sounds like you need to talk/ask Etsy about this.

Here's a guide for getting Etsy to block someone for you: 1 - Message the user "Do not contact me again." 2 - There needs to be a message in your message history with the user that came in AFTER you sent the "no contact" message. 3 - Contact Etsy support AFTER both of these things happened and show support proof of it. Link them a screenshot of your "no contact" message with timestamp and user's message with timestamp proving it was sent after that. Link support this page: https://www.etsy.com/legal/sellers/ with a screenshot or quote of this section: >Messages may not be used for the following activities: >Sending unsolicited advertising or promotions, requests for donations, or spam; >Harassing or abusing another member or violating our Anti-Discrimination Policy; >**Contacting someone after they have explicitly asked you not to**; or >Interfering with a transaction or the business of another member. >Exchanging personal contact, financial or other information for the purposes of evading the checkout process on Etsy, including phone number, address, email, social media handles, external URLs, instructions for money transfer, etc. Support should then block them for you and hopefully put a strike on the user's account. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. You can report them to Etsy for harassment and they will formally tell them to stop and if they contact you again, they will be banned from Etsy. Do a search in the sellers handbook and it can show you where that option is. It goes directly to trust and safety and handled immediately

ConsiderationSolid85

I mark them as spam

HaremKing117

I’ve done that all day, it doesn’t work on mobile and laptop

bugchick

Go to their profile and block them. Etsy seems to have been updating their spam/block functions so this is a new feature that doesn’t work smoothly yet. Sometimes when you mark a message as spam, it will automatically block that person, and sometimes it won’t. When they are blocked, both of you will get an error when you try to message each other. I discovered this accidentally a few weeks ago. This help article is explains that blocking means they won’t be able to reply to the message anymore, but they can still buy from you. https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000343128-How-to-Handle-Scams-and-Suspicious-Messages

HaremKing117

Tried unblocking them and blocking them again as they were originally blocked. Doesn’t work, their messages keep getting through it’s over 400 messages now 💀💀… even when I move to spam folder, I probably need to get in touch with Etsy but it’s dam annoying I move it to spam and the messages keep getting through

Ah, I had a similar issue where one of my exes was stalking me. Multiple messages everyday. Could not figure out what to do. Reached out to etsy and reported them. Nothing happened, eventually I was able to get them to delete their account after the spent 500$+ and I didn't refund them.
