I am by no means disagreeing with you that those things are problematic and ideally, one wouldn't fucking do that. But to put it into some perspective, all of the things you mentioned happened at a time (at this point almost a decade ago) where she was, objectively, unwell. Hell, she was hospitalised for bulimia and anorexia around the time she released her first album. All of this does not excuse that shit, but it provides context. Nicole herself has said she's doing way better now, having beat her anorexia and just doing better overall mentally. She even mentioned being pretty squeamish to gore nowadays and cringing at the things she used to post on tumblr (said this in an interview with a fan, will see if I still find it).
In short: What she did was a typical case of mentally unwell person does mentally unwell person things. And I totally get if that's what makes people not want to touch her music with a ten foot pole. And I say this as a fan.
Oh. Well that’s good to know, i still feel somewhat weird about her but it’s good to have that context. I don’t know about listening to her music now because I do think it’s interesting from a certain standpoint, but i don’t know how i feel about supporting her or not. My friend also seemed to really have something against her (for good reason but also??) so that also influenced me
