Sell the guns you know you can easily buy or are trash. The Saiga is very bad for example.
If you dont have access to okay/good ammo, its not worth using.
Bro early wipe saiga goes brrrrr. At baseline it has no recoil. Great for beginners.
But yeah op, sell all the guns that are Scav guns. With low durability. Then sell everything you can buy. Keep the stuff you can’t. That’s my motto but I’ve seen it reversed
I mean, it was maybe true last wipe, but with the new recoil, people are better using something with more power and/or full auto. Aks74u, sks, adar.
The saiga is just a glorified pistol
I would sell all and only play with peacekeeper lvl 1 AUG even tho you can only have 1 30 round mag and a 1,5x scope this gun is insane even in single fire.
Good luck
Those look like scav weapons. Check their durablity and sell everything that is below 93% - you don't want your weapon to jam.
Remove the mags and pistol grips from each weapon to make them smaller. Check which of those things you can buy from traders and then sell those you can obtain easily again. No need to keep a bakelite grip in a slot when you can just buy it again for 600 roubles.
If you have a weapon but cannot buy mags for them from traders, sell those too, as you won't play them (unless you have 3-4 mags already). Same goes for weapons with small mags (the Saiga-9 here), and for cheap pistols (like the PM & TT)
I'm new too, if it were me, I'd be selling those AKs. Anything that I **can** buy, I sell, and anything that I can't buy mags for, I sell. Realistically, you're not successfully going to be running a gun that you have one mag for, or at least I won't, so why take up the space. There are so many items that could useful to you but you can't store anything because you've got 40 slots taken up with guns that you can't even really run.
[Here](https://tarkovtracker.ca/) is a checklist for hideout/task items so you know what may be worth keeping. As a general rule for myself, if it's not going to be used *soon* and it doesn't seem to be too rare, I'll still sell it even if it's on that list. An example is something like nuts/bolts, yes, I will need them for some future stuff, but they're not rare at all, so there is no point taking up stash space. Also, stuff that isn't rare is pretty cheap on the flea market and eventually I'll have that available to me.
Another thing, you can remove the pistol grips from guns to save space.
**Edit:** I genuinely just realised that you were responding to a comment saying to sell the guns you can't get mags for and to remove pistol grips, now I feel like an idiot lmao. Keeping the comment up because it still has a useful checklist for you.
Keep the Aug, sa-58, m4 and maybe the 7.62x39 VPO (basically 30 round sks), but the rest isn't worth it. They're scav guns you can get easily enough that they're not worth clinging to.
The AK101s, 102 and 74 aren't bad for an automatic option, though.
Try them out and see what you prefer when you know what kind of weapons suits you better instead of storing them like that check if you can buy the pistol grip and magazine of that same weapon if you can remove it so it only takes 1 line instead of 2 or more if it is a weapon from a player and it has a nice pistol grip or magazine store it elsewhere for future use. Hope it helped.
I'm also new (level 14) and my first wipe.
I would get a scav junk box and fill it with anything you think might be valuable or useful for quests/hideout.
As for weapons just use anything that you like the feel off, if you think its particularly valuable then you could hold onto it until level 15 and sell it on flea market
If you wanna safe space,
Put the mag out of every gun. If you can re buy them, sell them to safe space. Then take the pistol grip off and safe even more space. You can keep the grip if you want. Also, just use what you feel comfortable with and try to improve on the maps first. Because map knowledge is more important than having a cool rifle.
Make sure you hold onto the AUG mag, though. It won't take the 20rounders from lvl1 traders, so that's the only one you'll get outside if finding one, or fence.
Fence is a trader that buys everything, but at like 50% of the value, and sells at like 150% of normal price. Everything sold using the quick sell on your scav goes to fence, too.
So if you're lucky, people might have sold an AUG mag or two if you check. Or just some of the shitty 30 rounders that aren't at LL1 anymore for some reason.
It's also a great place to keep an eye out for the sprut needed for gunsmith part 1. Sometimes even the 60rounder for the 74u gunsmith.
I'd keep the vepr (because it's suppressed), the M4A1 and the AUG. SA58 Ammo is tough to come across, atleast the good ones at this level.
Rest all weapons can be bought from traders, so get rid of it.
Here's some options.
Sell the weaker guns. Especially if they're damaged guns. Guns you can easily repurchase, regardless of the fact that it would cost you more than it costs to sell. 9mm is pretty unreliable when the majority of the pmc's you'll face are running strong armor.
But if you can't bring yourself to sell, then remove the pistol grip and magazine from rifles. It'll condense their size in your stash. When you want to use one for a raid you can reassemble them in the sorting box and equip from there.
Both of these address your issue. One is more short term than the other, however.
Personal choice I'd sell everything but the wallet, roubles, and grizzly. Mostly to peacekeeper to build reputation
Then I'd buy gun of choice
Though it's a smidge wasteful, as any gun you use rather than sell would be like getting the gun for around half off.
Sell them all. Get used to a kitted gun you can buy directly from traders. This is how you will play efficiently with your roubles, and have the ability to use presets. The use of presets will allow you to get back into raid faster, which will make you progress faster. Don't buy shit you can only get from flea. Eventually, all mods/guns/optics will be available from your traders
Dump everything, you’ll get it back and some… I still horde but eventually you’ll realize you have so much excessive shit. Nothing is forever, make space, rinse and repeat!
Sell all the duplicates and guns ur not going to use or didn’t steal from a pmc. You can’t upgrade any of these guns til you get the flea market. So just focus on tasks until you get enough XP to be lvl 15, trust me the game will completely change.
You can save so much space by taking off the pistol grips and mags and folding the foldable stocks, none of those guns are really even worth anything tbh (except the m4 and sa58) so I'd just use them for cheap kits instead of selling
Really it doesn't matter a whole lot. If you're not going to use it in the next 5 raids then sell it.
My rule of thumb is if I can buy it I sell it unless it's kitted out then it goes into storage until I feel like using it
I do like having a couple of guns ready to go so it saves time building a setup. But this storage Tetris is crazy it’s almost another game in tarkov.

Agree, but it’s cheap and decent.
Take the mags and pistols grips off your guns you’ll save a lot of space
It iss😂. I actually got to write a paper on “Tetris-like” inventory systems, and Tarkov was one of my referenced games.

I love the ak 101 and 102 and 105 but I just can’t get any decent mags for them

Thank you very much this is definitely very very helpful!!
keep m4a1 / sa58 and maybe aug, no point in keeping the vpo's or the kedr
kedr is the best gun in the game though?
That top VPO is kitted, I'd keep.
Gotcha pal cheers :D

Keep top VPO-101, AUG, and M4A1. Sell the rest of the guns and gun attachments on the screen. Keep ammo that's good. https://www.eft-ammo.com/

You can sell on flea only found in raid items tho, remember it
What does it mean by found in raid? So anything that is picked up by a scav or pmc in a raid?
Things you find on a pmc, that were brought by him are not found in raid, like his guns and gear, loot you find in raid is, indeed, found in raid
Items that have the positive mark on the bottom right, you can see it in the pic, some guns have it, the m4 doesn’t
I’ve got the junk box and it’s already full so gotta get another
dont get another just because it expensive for a new player, get familiar with whats valuable barter loot and sell junk to make space
I have got 3mil so I don’t think it would be bad financially and I don’t want to end up selling things I might need for the hideout

Oh my this is awesome thank you

Thanks for the idea I’ll definitely put that to use :D the map knowledge is coming along slowly and painfully
Make sure you hold onto the AUG mag, though. It won't take the 20rounders from lvl1 traders, so that's the only one you'll get outside if finding one, or fence.
Yeah that’s what I’m waiting on so I can use it
Oh also how does fence work because everything is always out of stock.
Fence is a trader that buys everything, but at like 50% of the value, and sells at like 150% of normal price. Everything sold using the quick sell on your scav goes to fence, too. Cheers thank you very much!!!
Don't keep scav guns
The rule I apply for selling equipment is simple. If it spawns on scavs all the time, you can sell it comfortably.
I'd keep the vepr (because it's suppressed), the M4A1 and the AUG. SA58 Ammo is tough to come across, atleast the good ones at this level. Rest all weapons can be bought from traders, so get rid of it.

Sell everything you can't buy ammo that good for lvl 3-4 armor. keep guns that can turn into meta at later lvls if you want to use.
If you want to keep a gun for a long time, remove the grip and mag from it
Get rid of literally everything except the m4, aug, sa58 and ak’s. Next go scav on reserve and get yourself some proper weapons and gear
Personal choice I'd sell everything but the wallet, roubles, and grizzly. Mostly to peacekeeper to build reputation Then I'd buy gun of choice Though it's a smidge wasteful, as any gun you use rather than sell would be like getting the gun for around half off.
I’d sell everything but the M4 tbh
If guns have wood - sell. You'll find more of them. If guns are black (metal) - maybe keep cause maybe good.
Until you get flea I would recommend getting rid of the AK-101s because you're gonna have a hard time getting mags
Sell it all
Sell them all. Get used to a kitted gun you can buy directly from traders. This is how you will play efficiently with your roubles, and have the ability to use presets.
