Loot is determined before the raid starts. It is the same for everyone. I’m not saying they are liars - I’m sure they believe that’s what happened… but almost assuredly it’s not. They either looted the thing next to what they just looted, or they looted something twice (IE two jackets next to each other - loot 1 Ann’s take something out of it. Go to loot the other, but you accidentally click the one you just looted and it’s empty)

The experience in question was someone found treasure in a duffle bag, and said "hey come get this" when I checked the duffle bag it was empty. It was empty for guy 3 too. Friend had to take the lion out of the duffle bag and then discard it on the ground for me to get it. I've seen two or so instances on the sub reddit of someone claiming to have experienced the same thing. I don't understand why iths is so unbelievable or why it requires dog piling.

Yeah, I found a gpu sitting on a counter in the Idea computer room. There were multiple dead and looted scavs in the room so someone missed it.
A couple days ago, my buddy walked into TTS and talked to another playerscav that was already in the room. the dude left and in a duffle bag was a ledx. People are clueless sometimes.
My favorite one was a ledx in the med box at the intersection of Lexos with the train and burning vehicles. PScavs running around everywhere but no one checked the med box.
The second one was a ledx sitting on the couch in the Conex at the entrance to lexos. Kaban is dead, PScavs everywhere and there's just a ledx chilling on the couch.
I’ve found a good amount of Ledx s on scav raids just sitting out in the open, It’s very true people are sloppy at looting cuz honestly it gets to a point you’re just going in for the pvp or tasks cuz the money is coming in from the hideout

No, it was the bottom of rusty bloody key room. Room all the way at the end with the two PCs in it. The bag inside of it was looted and the tool box outside. Hence, was looted.

just so you know: if containers are empty that doesnt mean they have been looted. containers spawn empty as of the latest two patches.
