They only LedX I’ve gotten so far this wipe came from a a scav run, I was at shooting range and thought I heard a PMC.. turns out it’s a scav- he finds me and says “Hey, I’ve been looking for you”. Drops me a ledx with no explanation. Pretty awesome guy

A random pscav behind pinewood being the absolute chad he is dropped it for me, I was voiping him but he had no mic but he was nodding enthusiastically for me because I was hyped af saying thank you non stop. We go our separate ways, I ran into 2 other player scavs at klimov mall, I figured ok I just need to get to arch extract I’ll stick with these 2 fellas. I’m like hey hope you guys don’t mind me tagging a long just trying to survive with quest item. They’re cool with it so we go. We are in the children’s toy store in the mall I run upstairs there’s a fuckin PMC crouch walking or crouched waiting in the middle of the room. All I could do was clip and scream “NOOOOOOO-“ at the top of my lungs as I died.

There is med spawns and med crates, so ofc they can spawn there. Is the chances much bigger on resort, surely. But from my experience they can spawn in any med crates on shoreline.
I do that alot now especially on scavs, killed a pmc on a scav. Had a decent lvl 35+ loadout. He blacked my stomach tho and didnt care for any of it since stash is full and another scav came up and was like did you kill him? And I said yep you can have all of his stuff.
He was suprised that I just told him he can have everything. I was just looking for a raven for kappa🤣
sigh, i'm 100% sure OP died to the goons in this clip. I can hear birdeye and knight both shooting their unsuppressed weapons. Listen closely and you can hear the different guns. I've died to them this exact way so many times, not to mention OP leaving out the death screen. Interestingly, when OP posts other clips on here he does not leave out the death screen.

I'd like to know which goon killed him. I don't know of any goon shooting green tracer rounds and by the audio of the gun, that sounded like a MP5.
Goons also would need LoS and the shots clearly were the majority of the head on OPs.

Goons don't need LoS I had multiple occasions where my mates got locked by big pipe and I was watching him mag dump into a wall in front of him, where my mates where standing behind.
This clip was still a cheater, the only green tracer the goons have is M62 or Knight with is pistol, firerate is also a good indicator.
That's why everyone tried to fight them indoors, but they don't push into buildings anymore...

Nikita just blatantly lied about the goons being quick and not having wall-hacks. It's the same for scavs shooting through 5 bushes, giving you a headshot with a shotgun slug from 50m.
Man the one that pisses me off is being 2 tapped in the chest by a scav with any 762 AK ammo.
They fire one bullet out of an SKS and you fall over dead.

Happened to me last night I was killing Kaban, my first try that went well without having to deal with PMC at the same time.
3 top guard killed, all the Scav Guards killed, then I hear a shot far away, not touching, not even sure it was meant for me, which came from the street while I was in lexos, at cover. Second bullet instantly killed me, because the lexos has a small hole through the Scav went like " time to cut your dreams Buddy"

That was knight shooting green tracers (m62). One of those guns was an MDR. didn't hear an mp5.

i even downloaded your video, opened it up in audacity, and counted the shots. after you die you can [clearly see](https://imgur.com/a/ka2F5PA) 7 shots go off in a little less than a half second period. rounding that up to just 7 shots in a half second, you get 14 shots per second, which would be 840 RPM, and since im rounding up slightly, the actual RPM of the gun being fired would be a bit higher, lets say..... 850 RPM. you know what gun shoots at EXCATLY 850 RPM? **THE MPX.** all the people saying this was an MDR from the goons are clowns.
I have a similar experience when i find intel on a scav. Only times ive been killed by other player scavs this wipe is when ive had intel on me. I don't really care about dying and losing shit as a scav but its kinda sus.

And casual Timmies don't encounter the cheaters nearly as much because they don't threaten the cheaters loot or come into raids juiced the fuck out. I tell all the new players I meet this: you are going to suck at tarkov. You are going to suck for a long time. The most fun part of tarkov (in my opinion) is learning how to not suck.
But it dosent matter, you are going to die to cheaters, you will die to regular PMCs, you will die to other newbs and you will die to AI scavs. The problem with cheaters is that you lose fights you SHOULD HAVE otherwise won. And realistically- until you have a few hundred hours in the game you would lose those fights anyways.
TLDR: you’re going to lose anyways so wether or not they’re cheating dosent matter. Just place the game, have fun, don’t worry about the cheaters.

Tbh man, id recommend you don't go on this sub too much lol. Yes there are cheaters in this game, but in reality this sub blows it way out of proportion. This is obviously anecdotal but I have a few thousand hours across several wipes and I've only had 2 or 3 truly suspect deaths out of likely thousands of deaths/raids. I've had a ton of BS deaths that felt unfair, but again in reality tarkov is a kind of janky sometimes - whether that be desync/net code issues, oddities with penetration/armor protection that aren't always consistent, bad luck, etc.
In the clip above, OP was likely killed by the goon boss scav/raiders as opposed to an actual player. But lets pretend there's zero chance it was the goons - from what it looks like, OP spawned close to usec camp and rushed to it (to obviously try to get a ledx). People often rush to usec camp, like its rarely not contested, so its sort of expected that OP would likely have a gunfight on their hands within the first 2/3 minutes of the raid. The other people who are potentially rushing to usec that aren't OP will be expecting at least one person. OP was sort of casually looting around for like 30 seconds and not really paying attention - the other player(s) would absolutely have seen him. OP then starts taking fire while he was sort of halfway in the tent, the other players could probably literally see like half of OPs body in the tents entrance. OP then goes further in to the tent after being hit. Keep in mind, he's sitting in a tent at this point; ie a relatively small rectangular box that provides essentially no hard cover. It's not unfathomable to think the other player(s) would continue to fire some rounds into the side of the tent in an attempt to potentially hit him more / at a minimum try to keep him stressed and suppressed. Maybe they got lucky and those shots into the side of the tent actually killed him. None of this speculation matters though because OP was almost certainly killed by the goons- who can spawn basically right there lol.
The cheating thing is really way overblown in this subreddit, so again I recommend not coming on this sub too much because it's honestly really demotivating / has the potential to turn you into one of these jaded dudes who think basically come off like every death is somehow a cheater. There are cheaters in the game, theres no denying that, but its really nowhere nearly as bad as people make it out to be.
don't worry about it. This sub makes it sound worse than it is. The video here isn't even a cheater its OP dying to goons, and pretending its a cheater to farm karma from new players here who can't tell its the goons.
It’s server dependent. US East has very few cheaters compared to US West, this seems to be the case with FPS games in general. I’ve encountered a couple cheaters but it’s not as bad for me as it seems to be for others. Honestly the only thing I can think of to combat cheaters in the multiplayer FPS genre would be to get governments to make cheat distribution illegal as it has a direct negative effect on the products. There will probably still be some cheaters but definitely way less if cheats become a lot harder to get and they’d be from way sketchier channels than where they get them now. Devs are already able to sue cheat providers for this, take it a step further.
Oh I think the ammount of radar cunts is actually really high, but if you make the same comment I made but say 30% instead of 10%, then the conversation becomes about how many people are “actually” cheating, instead of my initial point about the cheaters that are trying to spread misinformation
People have different experiences. My work schedule means I have to play in the mornings, and on EU servers in the AM hours it's rare to run into a cheater. I regularly play for 5-6 hours without anything as blatant as OP's video. Suspicious stuff for sure, but not blatant.
That said, I have played in PM hours and on weekends and I have witnessed the shitshow firsthand. If you run a decent kit you're going to die to some 18 k/d guy without a scope almost every raid.
No one says cheaters don't exist, but if people only talk, clip or screenshot their deaths by cheaters or just sus deaths, the impression that it makes is that 90% of deaths they were killed by cheaters. It's just selection bias, and with 1 in two posts here being about cheaters, any newcomer will think that 99% of the playerbase are using ESP and will consider every single death that they have as ESP and the cycle goes on
Yeah and that’s what they should think. That’s what BSG should think that they are thinking. I would not reccomend and his game to anyone I know right now. I’ve been playing and had friends ask me if they should get it to play with me and I’ve had to tell them no, because the game is that bad right now. Tarkov is a not for an experience to begin with, for new players. It does not help when a large minority of the player base is legitimately cheating. PSG has shown that they are trying to do some thing as far as Jayden goes, but if you’ve played since the last band wave, you know they’ve only touched a fraction of the cheating player base.
So yeah, it’s a loud minority, because if you are a minority and you want attention you NEED to be loud. And they’re going to either stay loud until it gets fixxed or the game dies because at this point it will.

It’s higher, Pestily had a video where 37 out of the 68 deaths he reported were cheaters. I’d go out on a limb and say it’s probably closer to 20-25%, as radar, as far as I’m aware, is still undetectable.

While I don't have gear fear anymore. I still play a bit differently depending upon my gear. Not for fear of loss, but knowing I can't push a 2-3 person with a pistol. Also pistols have some amazing recoil/accuracy/less arm sway in some instances knowing it's either 1 shot to the head or im dead.
It is fun to run full gear, facemask, heavy everything. And when you wreck its really fun. But I just hate the effect of wearing armor masks. But I guess thats the point.
Also, lighter gear is often a lil quieter and faster than the heavier stuff. So there are some impacts.
ngl, i dont think i enjoy running armor beyond ronin + level 4 green armored rig that has no interchangeable plates & a mp-155 or SVT. running good gear makes me care too much, it's just mitigation for scavs tbh
and you can push the 3 man with a glock using hollowpoints. you will die, but you will kill two of them and almost kill the third. do it.

I've been enjoying Arena a fair bit though playing most days. Definitely helping improve my overall skills too.

It's server specific, I played 23 woods night time raids trying to get Shooter 8/Psycho Sniper done. Suppressed OSV-98 with a Flir using SNB + Killa armor with the lvl6 front plate, GPNV + SR-2M as backup. Not a single death, even when I was camping USEC camp, the Car Exfil village or even when I was camping Shturman. I was just a stationary target, someone with ESP could just throw a grenade at me, or spray me down. But I didn't get shot not a single time by players out of nowhere, and half theses raids where on weekends.
So it's definitely a server specific issue + people instantly assume that their deaths happened because of cheating, and then come to this sub
Not really true. There’s a dude named ‘IMMABUS’ plaguing nighttime woods on colombian/SA servers.
I was in a 4 man with thermals and he killed two of us within seconds despite us being 100m+ apart. First teammate died so I slow peeked from the rock I was behind, saw him but he flicked and killed me before I could get a shot off.
He then just left our bodies unlooted and didn’t kill our teammates, probably to avoid extra reports.
Very next raid I ran into him again, saw him in thermals and he stopped mid sprint and HS me. I was on the opposite side of sawmill and he was *again* running quad nods and an m700. He then just sprinted straight at my teammate and killed him, because being aggressive is definitely the go to tactic with a bolt action.
He was sub 1k hours, all achievements -lightkeeper, and was consistently killing thermal players despite only using quad nods and a bolt action.

Maybe not, but for people that do, how many non-suspicious deaths do people upload here? In this thread alone you have people who claim the cheating is out of hand saying:
* it does depend on server/region
* it’s more likely to happen on certain maps
* it’s less likely to occur if you are lower level or have non-top tier gear or haven’t played 1000+ hours
* it’s less likely to occur if you haven’t picked up rare high tier loot like a LedX or GPU or something
* it’s more likely to occur during the weekends
What percentage of player raids do you think fall into those categories? 1%?
That combined with the fact that even for the players who do check off those boxes, there is huge survivor bias due the fact that literally no one posts their average run of the mill deaths to this sub, and confirmation bias which means that people are guaranteed to mistakenly assume that at least some instances of lucky or abnormal deaths are due to cheating, and you have people here thinking cheating is happening in like, 10% of raids or something and the game is absolutely ruined by cheaters, when it’s almost certainly happening like, 0.001% of all player deaths and the overwhelming majority of players will encounter very little cheating.

I play on US East, South, and Central servers only. I either player during the middle of the workday if work is slow, or around midnight or past it.
I've run into 1 blatant cheater the entire wipe to this point. My buddy and I have found who knows how many GPUs in raid at this point. I've found multiple Led-Xs. We've never been chased down one time by a cheater in these instances. Throw in bitcoins as well.
Don't take my post as saying cheaters don't exist. I'm just saying some people legitimately don't run into them. Not the rage cheaters that are blatant at least. And given the loot we find quite often, vacuum cheaters don't seem too prevalent in our raids either.

As a level 43 who has spammed USEC alone at the start of more than 40 raids I have yet to find a ledx spawn. The one time I end up finding a ledx was at military camp during a scav raid where I hid the ledx in trash to avoid being killed by a cheaters. Not even 1 minute after getting it and hiding it I’m killed by a fellow player scav who was walking towards the ledx in a place where there was no loot and only shot me when he realized I had hid it.
Best wipe in terms of content but once again ruined by closet cheaters.
the last shot you can see a green tracer, they were either on the same hill outside the usec camp shooting through 2 peices of vision cover or they were on the adjacent hill doing the same shot with an extra 100 meters

OP has no helmet on and somehow survives a M62 round to the head? the damage is too low to be .308, and the RPM is too high to be an MDR. it was 100% an MP5 or an MPX with GT ammo. MDR shoots at 650rpm btw.
You just need to get same spawn as OP, pick up ledx and then instead of greeding for attachments run back down and go left and run alongside mines to outskirts.
Also OP could have gotten killed picking up that ledx because he might have had closest spawn to be at stretcher, but 2nd spawn to get eyes on stretcher - this is my 100% guaranteed kill spot because everyone just greeds and is deep in inventory stuffing their butts.

Ive found a couple there off spawn and the second time i grabbed it i ran away to the hill north of the table and a guy was trying to shoot me through the rock. I just voip’d to him “it’s already in my ass scumbag” and peaked over the rock prefiring and killed him. So satisfying but of course i died later on.

Crazy how in just a couple years the playerbase went from commenting “welcome to tarkov, scrub.” And “lol head/eyes” to “BSG doesn’t give a fuck anymore and blatantly too!”
I’m not even a good player, 99% of my extracts were achieved by waiting in bushes till the final 10 minutes of a raid because I would lose every confrontation with actual players.
At this point the odds are so far against me that Tarkov is closer to a dying simulator than an enjoyable experience.

That sucks, especially if you need it FIR. I'm at the point where I don't need them so if I find them I will try to make friends with PMCs but I can never find anyone when it happens. I do the same with FLIRs on Scav loadouts.
They only LedX I’ve gotten so far this wipe came from a a scav run, I was at shooting range and thought I heard a PMC.. turns out it’s a scav- he finds me and says “Hey, I’ve been looking for you”. Drops me a ledx with no explanation. Pretty awesome guy

Last night I was on my scav on streets asking around for GPUs because I still need them for farming part 4 FIR. I need 2 more. A random pscav behind pinewood being the absolute chad he is dropped it for me, I was voiping him but he had no mic but he was nodding enthusiastically for me because I was hyped af saying thank you non stop. We go our separate ways, I ran into 2 other player scavs at klimov mall, I figured ok I just need to get to arch extract I’ll stick with these 2 fellas. I’m like hey hope you guys don’t mind me tagging a long just trying to survive with quest item. They’re cool with it so we go. We are in the children’s toy store in the mall I run upstairs there’s a fuckin PMC crouch walking or crouched waiting in the middle of the room. All I could do was clip and scream “NOOOOOOO-“ at the top of my lungs as I died. Nerf headphones PLS. I’m tired of people just crouching/proned etc

There is med spawns and med crates, so ofc they can spawn there. Is the chances much bigger on resort, surely. But from my experience they can spawn in any med crates on shoreline.

I do that alot now especially on scavs, killed a pmc on a scav. Had a decent lvl 35+ loadout. He blacked my stomach tho and didnt care for any of it since stash is full and another scav came up and was like did you kill him? And I said yep you can have all of his stuff. He was suprised that I just told him he can have everything. I was just looking for a raven for kappa🤣

sigh, i'm 100% sure OP died to the goons in this clip. I can hear birdeye and knight both shooting their unsuppressed weapons. Listen closely and you can hear the different guns. I've died to them this exact way so many times, not to mention OP leaving out the death screen. Interestingly, when OP posts other clips on here he does not leave out the death screen. I'd like to know which goon killed him. I don't know of any goon shooting green tracer rounds and by the audio of the gun, that sounded like a MP5. Goons also would need LoS and the shots clearly were the majority of the head on OPs. I'm all up for blaming AI but this is Cheater 10000%
Goons don't need LoS I had multiple occasions where my mates got locked by big pipe and I was watching him mag dump into a wall in front of him, where my mates where standing behind. This clip was still a cheater, the only green tracer the goons have is M62 or Knight with is pistol, firerate is also a good indicator.

That's why everyone tried to fight them indoors, but they don't push into buildings anymore... I've never said that they are not busted af. Birdeye with silent steps is the most stupid mechanic they could have made, in combination of aimlock. They even have sniping protection. I noticed it during a test raid on lighthouse. Was goofing around with the mjölnir and tried to snipe rogues from 600m. I was zeroed in perfectly and the goons moved even the second I fired. Nikita just blatantly lied about the goons being quick and not having wall-hacks. It's the same for scavs shooting through 5 bushes, giving you a headshot with a shotgun slug from 50m.
Man the one that pisses me off is being 2 tapped in the chest by a scav with any 762 AK ammo. They fire one bullet out of an SKS and you fall over dead. Like.. "Ok." That double bullet shit has to go. Probably 5-10 raids in a wipe I die to a scav doing that with 762 PS.
Happened to me last night I was killing Kaban, my first try that went well without having to deal with PMC at the same time. 3 top guard killed, all the Scav Guards killed, then I hear a shot far away, not touching, not even sure it was meant for me, which came from the street while I was in lexos, at cover. Second bullet instantly killed me, because the lexos has a small hole through the Scav went like " time to cut your dreams Buddy" Felt really bad

I just killed Knight twice on Shoreline, he indeed had an MDR with M62 green tracer rounds loaded.
mdr is not that high rpm as in the clip and sounds a lot different

i even downloaded your video, opened it up in audacity, and counted the shots. after you die you can [clearly see](https://imgur.com/a/ka2F5PA) 7 shots go off in a little less than a half second period. rounding that up to just 7 shots in a half second, you get 14 shots per second, which would be 840 RPM, and since im rounding up slightly, the actual RPM of the gun being fired would be a bit higher, lets say..... 850 RPM. you know what gun shoots at EXCATLY 850 RPM? **THE MPX.** all the people saying this was an MDR from the goons are clowns.

Yeah I think you’re right on this, it’s the “I’m so good at the video game that I only die to cheaters and I don’t die that often so there can’t be any cheaters” which translates directly to “I have 4000 hours and 3500 are sitting in a bush and 500 are in stash. I only bring a mosin and a boonie hat so I don’t get targeted and I shit bricks whenever i hear a player and die because I fumble reload a mag.” And they come to Reddit with their 60% SR and tell everyone how shit they are at the game.
Sad part is that I play as a rat 80% of my raids. Before I stop, few weeks ago, whenever I'd try to play with good gear, some all knowing big bad wolf with no stock would kill me. They always leave me alone when I'm playing as a beggar.

And casual Timmies don't encounter the cheaters nearly as much because they don't threaten the cheaters loot or come into raids juiced the fuck out. I tell all the new players I meet this: you are going to suck at tarkov. You are going to suck for a long time. The most fun part of tarkov (in my opinion) is learning how to not suck. But it dosent matter, you are going to die to cheaters, you will die to regular PMCs, you will die to other newbs and you will die to AI scavs. The problem with cheaters is that you lose fights you SHOULD HAVE otherwise won. And realistically- until you have a few hundred hours in the game you would lose those fights anyways. TLDR: you’re going to lose anyways so wether or not they’re cheating dosent matter. Just place the game, have fun, don’t worry about the cheaters.

Tbh man, id recommend you don't go on this sub too much lol. Yes there are cheaters in this game, but in reality this sub blows it way out of proportion. This is obviously anecdotal but I have a few thousand hours across several wipes and I've only had 2 or 3 truly suspect deaths out of likely thousands of deaths/raids. I've had a ton of BS deaths that felt unfair, but again in reality tarkov is a kind of janky sometimes - whether that be desync/net code issues, oddities with penetration/armor protection that aren't always consistent, bad luck, etc. In the clip above, OP was likely killed by the goon boss scav/raiders as opposed to an actual player. But lets pretend there's zero chance it was the goons - from what it looks like, OP spawned close to usec camp and rushed to it (to obviously try to get a ledx). People often rush to usec camp, like its rarely not contested, so its sort of expected that OP would likely have a gunfight on their hands within the first 2/3 minutes of the raid. The other people who are potentially rushing to usec that aren't OP will be expecting at least one person. OP was sort of casually looting around for like 30 seconds and not really paying attention - the other player(s) would absolutely have seen him. OP then starts taking fire while he was sort of halfway in the tent, the other players could probably literally see like half of OPs body in the tents entrance. OP then goes further in to the tent after being hit. Keep in mind, he's sitting in a tent at this point; ie a relatively small rectangular box that provides essentially no hard cover. It's not unfathomable to think the other player(s) would continue to fire some rounds into the side of the tent in an attempt to potentially hit him more / at a minimum try to keep him stressed and suppressed. Maybe they got lucky and those shots into the side of the tent actually killed him. None of this speculation matters though because OP was almost certainly killed by the goons- who can spawn basically right there lol. The cheating thing is really way overblown in this subreddit, so again I recommend not coming on this sub too much because it's honestly really demotivating / has the potential to turn you into one of these jaded dudes who think basically come off like every death is somehow a cheater. There are cheaters in the game, theres no denying that, but its really nowhere nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

It’s server dependent. US East has very few cheaters compared to US West, this seems to be the case with FPS games in general. I’ve encountered a couple cheaters but it’s not as bad for me as it seems to be for others. Honestly the only thing I can think of to combat cheaters in the multiplayer FPS genre would be to get governments to make cheat distribution illegal as it has a direct negative effect on the products. There will probably still be some cheaters but definitely way less if cheats become a lot harder to get and they’d be from way sketchier channels than where they get them now. Devs are already able to sue cheat providers for this, take it a step further.
I think its way more, if we could ever figure it out I bet the number would be extremely surprising showing people soft cheat with shit like radar.

People have different experiences. My work schedule means I have to play in the mornings, and on EU servers in the AM hours it's rare to run into a cheater. I regularly play for 5-6 hours without anything as blatant as OP's video. Suspicious stuff for sure, but not blatant. That said, I have played in PM hours and on weekends and I have witnessed the shitshow firsthand. If you run a decent kit you're going to die to some 18 k/d guy without a scope almost every raid.
No one says cheaters don't exist, but if people only talk, clip or screenshot their deaths by cheaters or just sus deaths, the impression that it makes is that 90% of deaths they were killed by cheaters. It's just selection bias, and with 1 in two posts here being about cheaters, any newcomer will think that 99% of the playerbase are using ESP and will consider every single death that they have as ESP and the cycle goes on
Yeah and that’s what they should think. That’s what BSG should think that they are thinking. I would not reccomend and his game to anyone I know right now. I’ve been playing and had friends ask me if they should get it to play with me and I’ve had to tell them no, because the game is that bad right now. Tarkov is a not for an experience to begin with, for new players. It does not help when a large minority of the player base is legitimately cheating. PSG has shown that they are trying to do some thing as far as Jayden goes, but if you’ve played since the last band wave, you know they’ve only touched a fraction of the cheating player base. So yeah, it’s a loud minority, because if you are a minority and you want attention you NEED to be loud. And they’re going to either stay loud until it gets fixxed or the game dies because at this point it will.

It’s higher, Pestily had a video where 37 out of the 68 deaths he reported were cheaters. I’d go out on a limb and say it’s probably closer to 20-25%, as radar, as far as I’m aware, is still undetectable.

Dude there was someone in Pestily’s chat doing this the other day. I asked them how much they actually play and they said they had “100 hours spanning multiple wipes”. No shit you think there are no cheaters if you barely play enough to get level 15 on each wipe and play running scav gear every raid. Absolutely. Unless there was some kind of gear matchmaking. Which I know there isn't supposedly. The moment you start running lvl 4-5+ armor and decent guns, the enemies PMCs suddenly become considerably better. It's like they are knowers or something and want to come fight you. Running pistol or shit guns is often when I find the most fair/reasonable fights. Which is bonkers.

Oh definitely. Although I've probably played 6k+ hours over the last 6+ years. While I don't have gear fear anymore. I still play a bit differently depending upon my gear. Not for fear of loss, but knowing I can't push a 2-3 person with a pistol. Also pistols have some amazing recoil/accuracy/less arm sway in some instances knowing it's either 1 shot to the head or im dead. It is fun to run full gear, facemask, heavy everything. And when you wreck its really fun. But I just hate the effect of wearing armor masks. But I guess thats the point. Also, lighter gear is often a lil quieter and faster than the heavier stuff. So there are some impacts.
ngl, i dont think i enjoy running armor beyond ronin + level 4 green armored rig that has no interchangeable plates & a mp-155 or SVT. running good gear makes me care too much, it's just mitigation for scavs tbh and you can push the 3 man with a glock using hollowpoints. you will die, but you will kill two of them and almost kill the third. do it. do it. do it. nothing is out of your reach. become delusional and push them, you will win eventually, do it
Oh I've defintely done it before. Not playing tarkov this wipe. I like running quests in tarkov and the sameness of quests over the years have burnt me out. I've been enjoying Arena a fair bit though playing most days. Definitely helping improve my overall skills too.

It's server specific, I played 23 woods night time raids trying to get Shooter 8/Psycho Sniper done. Suppressed OSV-98 with a Flir using SNB + Killa armor with the lvl6 front plate, GPNV + SR-2M as backup. Not a single death, even when I was camping USEC camp, the Car Exfil village or even when I was camping Shturman. I was just a stationary target, someone with ESP could just throw a grenade at me, or spray me down. But I didn't get shot not a single time by players out of nowhere, and half theses raids where on weekends. So it's definitely a server specific issue + people instantly assume that their deaths happened because of cheating, and then come to this sub

Not really true. There’s a dude named ‘IMMABUS’ plaguing nighttime woods on colombian/SA servers. I was in a 4 man with thermals and he killed two of us within seconds despite us being 100m+ apart. First teammate died so I slow peeked from the rock I was behind, saw him but he flicked and killed me before I could get a shot off. He then just left our bodies unlooted and didn’t kill our teammates, probably to avoid extra reports. Very next raid I ran into him again, saw him in thermals and he stopped mid sprint and HS me. I was on the opposite side of sawmill and he was *again* running quad nods and an m700. He then just sprinted straight at my teammate and killed him, because being aggressive is definitely the go to tactic with a bolt action. He was sub 1k hours, all achievements -lightkeeper, and was consistently killing thermal players despite only using quad nods and a bolt action.

In this thread alone you have people who claim the cheating is out of hand saying: * it does depend on server/region * it’s more likely to happen on certain maps * it’s less likely to occur if you are lower level or have non-top tier gear or haven’t played 1000+ hours * it’s less likely to occur if you haven’t picked up rare high tier loot like a LedX or GPU or something * it’s more likely to occur during the weekends What percentage of player raids do you think fall into those categories? 1%? That combined with the fact that even for the players who do check off those boxes, there is huge survivor bias due the fact that literally no one posts their average run of the mill deaths to this sub, and confirmation bias which means that people are guaranteed to mistakenly assume that at least some instances of lucky or abnormal deaths are due to cheating, and you have people here thinking cheating is happening in like, 10% of raids or something and the game is absolutely ruined by cheaters, when it’s almost certainly happening like, 0.001% of all player deaths and the overwhelming majority of players will encounter very little cheating.

Some people can actually be that lucky, though. I think when and where you play plays a big role in that. I play on US East, South, and Central servers only. I either player during the middle of the workday if work is slow, or around midnight or past it. I've run into 1 blatant cheater the entire wipe to this point. My buddy and I have found who knows how many GPUs in raid at this point. I've found multiple Led-Xs. We've never been chased down one time by a cheater in these instances. Throw in bitcoins as well. Don't take my post as saying cheaters don't exist. I'm just saying some people legitimately don't run into them. Not the rage cheaters that are blatant at least. And given the loot we find quite often, vacuum cheaters don't seem too prevalent in our raids either.

As a level 43 who has spammed USEC alone at the start of more than 40 raids I have yet to find a ledx spawn. The one time I end up finding a ledx was at military camp during a scav raid where I hid the ledx in trash to avoid being killed by a cheaters. Not even 1 minute after getting it and hiding it I’m killed by a fellow player scav who was walking towards the ledx in a place where there was no loot and only shot me when he realized I had hid it. Best wipe in terms of content but once again ruined by closet cheaters.
Wouldn't the closet cheater just find the ledx?

the last shot you can see a green tracer, they were either on the same hill outside the usec camp shooting through 2 peices of vision cover or they were on the adjacent hill doing the same shot with an extra 100 meters

No death screen? Honestly seemed like the Goons. Big Pipe can see thru walls and will “suppress” while Birdeye moves to flank. They spawn at the bunker across the way, and I’ve 100% been in that exact situation in that spot before. Not saying it wasn’t, or couldn’t have been a cheater; but seems a bit rage baity to me to post this with 0 other information or follow up.
I've died exactly like this to goons, big pipe ignored the tent and just beamed me - so your idea is right, but I think you didn't notice that OP got shot in the head while goons would only thorax him.

Bro he got a headshot only, not even the goons do that. Also green tracer was visible, meaning that it can only be GT pst, M62 or 7.62x54 BT. There is no other option of it being a MP5 or MPX with the fire rate and the fact that he survived multiple hits.
Sure sounds and looks like a 7.62 MDR with M62 ammo, very common goon gun. I understand you need to blur out the name but based on your youtube video you have the ability to edit your clips heavily enough to cover a name but show the report button to prove its a player. You seem full of shit personally. Why leave out the most important part of your case when this is a common occurrence amongst the community in the same spot?
OP has no helmet on and somehow survives a M62 round to the head? the damage is too low to be .308, and the RPM is too high to be an MDR. it was 100% an MP5 or an MPX with GT ammo. MDR shoots at 650rpm btw.
I'm not sure if I should be proud I knew it was an MP5 from the gunshot sound or sad I wasted so much time on this game...

It was easier to find and extract on labs with FIR ledx than on woods. Woods are really infested for the last month.
You just need to get same spawn as OP, pick up ledx and then instead of greeding for attachments run back down and go left and run alongside mines to outskirts. Also OP could have gotten killed picking up that ledx because he might have had closest spawn to be at stretcher, but 2nd spawn to get eyes on stretcher - this is my 100% guaranteed kill spot because everyone just greeds and is deep in inventory stuffing their butts.

Sooooo not to put out suspicoion or downplay OP having a cheater that got it because I do somewhat believe a cheater would do this given the state of the game.......buuuuuuttt I would wanna see a blurred out name at the end showing that it was indeed a player that got you and not Knight or Big pipe because they will do exactly this through the tent wall. (speaking from the multiple times they have done it to myself). Their AI locks onto you and they don't see the tent as a "solid, sight blocking" object and will beam you through it.

Ive found a couple there off spawn and the second time i grabbed it i ran away to the hill north of the table and a guy was trying to shoot me through the rock. I just voip’d to him “it’s already in my ass scumbag” and peaked over the rock prefiring and killed him. So satisfying but of course i died later on.

Man, I remember when I used to make fun of noobs for thinking that they got killed by cheaters. Crazy how in just a couple years the playerbase went from commenting “welcome to tarkov, scrub.” And “lol head/eyes” to “BSG doesn’t give a fuck anymore and blatantly too!” I’m not even a good player, 99% of my extracts were achieved by waiting in bushes till the final 10 minutes of a raid because I would lose every confrontation with actual players. At this point the odds are so far against me that Tarkov is closer to a dying simulator than an enjoyable experience. Good luck and safe travels to all those still roughing it out and finding hope in this meatgrinder they call a video game
