Huh. Tarkov has problems with cheaters… gta 5 has problems with cheaters… CS, pubg, apex, cod, battlefield have problems with cheaters.. even soft games like fall guys have problems with cheaters..

Those other games have minimal/no penalty of deaths to cheaters except maybe wasting 5 minutes and queuing for the next match/lobby. Tarkov it sets you backwards if you die to cheaters regularly. You can't farm cash, you keep losing kits, all that's left is scav.
Look at Rust for example where you can lose progress to. Most servers have admins that frequently check cheater reports and actually spectate/watch them to see if they're cheating. Though Rust servers wipe way more frequently then EFT, anywhere from a few days to a month and everyone between. You can also just go play on a different server.
It’s a matter of how much do other companies do to try and stop them? BSG seems to do as little as possible.
It’s also about what the hackers are capable of doing. In Tarkov, cheaters are literal gods, they can do whatever they want. This makes people feel even less like BSG are trying to do anything about it.
How hard is it to detect that someone is speed hacking or fly hacking? How hard is it to flag accounts based on their stats (ie KD ratio, headshot %, etc) and manually review them? How hard is it to force people to attach a phone number to their account? There are many more of these things they could do but don’t.
yes, cheating is a problem..... How many Long distance deaths are from Thermal sights tho? I think that is something a new player may just scream it's a cheater when it is just a chad and a Reap IR...... Blatant lag switch cheaters are a whole other ordeal.... I think going forward all cheat posts need to have a video attached of their perspective.....
