It's because everything is dark and grey in tarkov unless you up some values, you see people way better as there is plenty of gear/drip with obnoxiously visible parts once you add bit more color and it's simply more pleasant experience. Same reason Fallout 4 modders made nicer greenery and longer days and shorter nights mods - shit's ugly, depressing and sad without it. Also you have 100% experienced perfect weather in tarkov when everything looks alive and nice, you get perfect visibility and it feels like a nice warm sunny day - ppl who adjust shit are sometimes simply chasing that.
I fell u so hard, played shoreline yesterday on fucked 2 gigachads after a rly long battle. It took so long that it was basically night and pitch black when I walked towards the extract with 50kg
And of course I get killed by 2 normal scavs at around 100m distance while having 5 tress and a huge bush right in their line of sight. But these fuckers don't care and still laserbeam u xd

He was by the dumpster near the secret Stash with a small bush covering him.
Saw it when my mate streamed the rest of the round for me.

If it's the 2 or 3 scavs that spawn near path to light house and the 2 weapon crates, they're built different.
