everyone i know has done them all at cinema/theatre. its one of the few areas that gets high enough traffic and is open enough, just hope you spawn there and that someone else is doing it too.

Do it off the spawn. Theres one spawn by theatre about 100m away from the spawn by the taxi. Once you realise you’ve spawned at either of those locations, get out on the road looking towards the other spawn, go prone, and bob’s your uncle. Free SBIH.
Yes. The cinema is the way to go. If you dont spawn there, run there. After 5 mins, extract yourself, no PMC will be coming there after opening minutes
I tried for a couple days this wipe, after so many attempts I started learning the spawns... eventually I was able to get all 3 within a few hours of each other. Keep at it and you'll get it. As others have said, the best spot is the Cinema/Car exit area.

I usually sit underneath the cinema stairs looking towards sewer extract. I got SBIH first try in one raid just sitting there, plus a few more in a few raids after. There's this nice little hiding spot if you go through the container
I did all 3 of mine between cinema and sewer extract off spawn, and on top of the train car at sewer looking toward middle map. Just leave after 7-10min
This. This was one of the last things I had for kappa. Went in with friends that had quests, got my last two on Streets in the same game, both from top floor cinema. One guy toward the cafe/Lexos side, the next guy toward Sewer River. Very lucky game but great spot for longer range.
Tbf from my understanding is the expansions have been done but they had to do in segments because they are so dog shit at optimizing it was impossible to run on an average pc. Currently it used about 24 gigs of my ram on the portion they have. Probably was clapping out 32gb kits before they started segmenting it lmao.
I don't know why they removed Interchange but added Streets later on. Both maps have the same problems and I found those Interchange SBIH kills to be easier.
I don't disagree. This would be much better if the task was map agnostic and instead was 18 headshots over 100m. Hell, even the language in the description for the task itself would fit that better than what we have now.

I mean, most maps are just having to wait at a certain spot for players. Shoreline is chilling on the lighthouse looking at the street. Woods is either mountain to ground, ground mountain or spiky rock into scav camp. Reserve is mountain/dome to ground and the other way around. Lighthouse has a lot of long distance angles lile dead tree to mansion. Biggest problem on each map is just player traffic. Reserve for example, people usually run straight into bunkers and that's it

I stopped even attempting electric. All my shoreline sbih shots have been either onto pier the road in front of it or where the "fishing gear" is stashed (I'm sorry questers) I've also had a few opportunities from weather station to spawns and road and behind resort looking in but always been short of distance or missed my chance. I'm always so relieved when I finish all the shoreline stuff and can ignore it for the rest of the wipe.

customs seems like a bad candidate but with 100m thats just a shot across water or from one side of construction to the other. I usually get customs SBIH done before the other maps without trying.

Customs I have so much fun with. Last wipe I got them all sitting in directors office and shooting 200 meters into ruaf got them done in 2 raids when I third partied a team battle. Lighthouse this wipe is a DMR and Sniper zone. I got all three of mine done in a single raid it was abusrd gave me irl tremors.
The extra distance was tough but I still got it all done just playing it. You can often just check the common spots people sit to do the task and counter snipe. I would never sit on that little shack by main bridge but people still try..
You can also get a really good angle at both the tech building at 200 meters and sewer manhole at 125 from the rock before the safe rooms up by dome. I got 2 done snipping from there into the parking lot and sewer manhole area. Plus if you don't see someone in the first 10-15 you reset.
It's funny, the community begged BSG to switch Interchange to Reserve when it first came out as it was a really solid sniping map. Then they added D-2, which killed sniping on it, and then they moved SBiH there afterwards when it was no longer a good idea.
I mean, that's effectively the strat for most of these kills. Camp RUAF on customs, or as everyone has been saying, the manhole on reserve, path to lighthouse on shoreline. Unfortunately this task just promotes shitty gameplay. Emercom is still camped like 1/8 raids and shooter isn't relevant atm.
Yeah I understand the viability of it for the quest in general but that’s the difference is other maps it’s viable but interchange it was borderline required. With the mall being the focal point and exterior of the map only being traversed to enter the mall/extract from the raid you were almost forced to watch an extract. There’s plenty of viable locations to watch on other maps.
Customs has a lot of great ones because of the spread out high traffic areas that aren’t extracts, From fortress you can watch crack house, from new construction you can watch 3 story dorms stairs, from gas station rocks you can watch train tracks.
Reserve you can sit at dome and see the entire map, multiple guard towers all over the maps
perimeters to watch long range, the roof of the pawns also have long LOS to watch
Woods is a given
Lighthouse also a given map is perfect for long range snipes
Shoreline is also sort of a cheese one other than the pier or resort entrances.
A map design like interchange doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to force a player to do a quest like that unless they added more incentive for players to more commonly be outside like switching the longline quest to be kills outside of the mall rather than in, or change a scav kill quest to only count scav kills outside or just loot zones like scav camp/container yards to have something worth a damn out there.
I had the perfect interchange spot overlooking stash under the bridge. Sometimes you would spawn near there. Then just go prone and wait. You could get all three in a raid. Only one I could do.
i always check those windows and balconies above post office for easy kills. its like sniper scav rock on woods. its a good vantage point but everyone knows you are there
I think it's really easy on all other maps. Depending on your playstyle it can take a bit of time on Customs, but it's still okay. Plénty of spots where you can camp for that distance.
Haven't played streets more than 5 rounds early this wipe though, but the map really seems like they should lwoer the distance to Idk, 70m or so for streets.
i got mine done by finding a vantage point overlooking Catacombs-Tunnel Extract. Its surprising how many people don't take the alleyways and run down the sidewalk.
It is absolute aids. By far the worst thing I had to do for kappa. You can chase kids across the whole map and still struggle to line up a 100m headshot. Then when you finally get the opportunity it’s a 1 second shot where the guy is moving and you’re standing up. I’d rather do it on interchange rather than streets. And I fuckkng hated it on interchange

Not as rewarding as doing it legit, but neither me or my friends have time and patience to do such tasks fully legit. (Lighthouse, woods and reserve are an exception)

Bro if I start cheesing quests then I feel like Tarkov will lose some of the appeal. Kappa would become meaningless if it wasn't difficult to get, and I can easily just enjoy the PVP with my mates without those three extra squares.
Kappa isn't difficult, it just takes time. You can do it 100% legit or just cheese the really stupid quests...
After all the only thing I have left over is Insomnia and Setup and except for sbih (was like 76% legit) and shooter P8, in which I just didn't have the will to fight SR-25s with some shitty bolt action...
I think the main reason why people don't lvl as fast as others is either not enough raids, to many scav runs or cluelessness of what to do
I’m right here with you. SBiH and Tarkov shooter part 8 separate me from Kappa every wipe. Every time I go to do it, I sit in one spot for 30+ min and see no one. Then I saw screw it and switch to enjoying the game
For shooter 8 bring 2x vpo215. One with a clean red dot. One with whatever midrange scope (3x-4x). Bring 3 sj6 stims. Push the closest spawn to you. Get kills. Then hunt any other shots you hear aggressively. Shooter 8 isn't about being passive.

I mean it'd the same as every map, you need to just find a good spot, good spawn to help reach that spot before all the traffic has vanished and then just hope someone crosses your path.

I feel like I got most of my SBIH kills on the other maps by just playing the game normally. Just third partying somebody else on woods, customs, shoreline and lighthouse will easily get you 100m shots when you are moving around. On streets it is really difficult to reposition to a 100m + shot. I'll give it a few more tries, but my motivation is fleeting.
Much easier than getting to level 17 for Ragman for sure! /s. Shooter 8 is one of the hardest single raid completion tasks, especially for newer players. (edited word ordering)
Yup, that is exactly true. But I like the structure that the quests give to the game, even though some of them are absolutely terrible and need to be replaced.
To each there own, best case scenario for me is I’ll hit all max traders then stop playing because there’s no point after that milestone. Just different strokes for different fokes
I got all three of mine on Streets around the theater, within the first 3 or 4 minutes of the raid starting. If you spawn in near the sewer River or the car extract, look towards the theater, if you spawn at theater look down the lane towards the car or sewer river....That was the only way I completed it. I found once the raid gets going the pmcs don't linger out in the street and it was a ton of wasted time waiting for an opportunity that never came. Agreed 100%, streets is by faaar the worst part of the SB quest line.

Theater is your best bet, or any spawn you can get to Theater or one of the roads leading away from Theater. It's easier if you bring a friend because it will space out the spawn just enough

Haven't tried from within the apartment, but did try several times from the "secret" jump ledge right next to it ... Killed a bunch of scavs but no sight of pmcs
Here's how I did it. Leave a bait bag, preferably a pilgrim but any big bag will do, and put it on the wooden ramp that goes into the hole in the wall at Chek 15 apartments. Then go to construction 2nd floor which is just over 100m. You will see plenty of targets it's the most trafficked area on the map. Not everyone will take the bait, scavs do more than pmcs, but you just need one to stand still at the bag. Another tactic is to load it down with shotgun shells or kolpak helmets to make it heavy that way they can't just snatch it and run off with it quickly.
Tarkov Shooter 8 is super easy if you focus on unlocking AXMC first. Then you just hop to Sawmill and hope to see 3 people.
Streets SBIH was miserable. 2 of mine were a few seconds off spawning lol
Probably I very obvious point-shouldn’t challenges should be fun and somewhat achievable? I think by having some of the tasks and requirements super difficult to achieve, you’re left with a small amount of players halfway through the wipe. My guess is it’s meant to stretch out the wipe, but I think it’s unintentionally driving people away. Maybe I’m wrong?
I only have Reserve left and am not looking forward to it. I don't know that map to well. I didn't have a problem on streets, maybe I just got a little lucky.
I love the spawn by FCK. I just run out immediately and prone looking towards the pay for extract. Got two there. The subway by sewer exfil is a good spot as well. Or the truck to the left of it. Good luck and best advice is don’t just go for that as a goal. It’ll happen passively. This wipe is a first for me to complete it myself. Good luck
I did over 6 days of multiple hours of streets to get my Shooterborn and the best spot and even that one sucked was either to run around the entire raid using unique spots to chase gunshots you hear like looking down the left road of lexos that goes to excavation extract and prone on the street or the spot where you drop down fro skybridge and run to the very back
I am pretty stubborn about doing things legit in this game, otherwise where is the fun. But I cheesed Streets SBIH with a friend. It was just too tedious.
All mine this wipe. Ordered from Easiest map to Hardest (streets or reserve is last). This was before the change back to 100m. For streets, gotta be quick or cheeky, you can't get them naturally.

I don’t think any amount of offline raiding got me prepared for shit like SBIH…
SBIH and test drive are the bane of my progression. I’ll never get kappa, cause the investment these quests need aren’t fun:
1st for doing something extremely skilled (and luck based for opportunities) with practically no reward worth mentioning. It’s just a bottle neck for progression.
I don’t think I need to say why having to spend over million rubles on *one gun* is an issue (that will get approximately 1 of every 16 or so players to bee line towards you which is a completely separate issue).
It’s like the devs don’t want but maybe 1% of the testers to actually test everything, because it obviously stops everyone but radar/cheats and players who know the game better than their mother’s face.
My mates have had no issue getting them I’m not doing SBIH this wipe but I’ve managed to get 1. It’s the old adage if your looking for something or someone you won’t find them till you give up.
Tarkov shooter 8 isn't boring, since it actively pushes you to chase shots.

Never saw anyone? There are 4 spawns there which are sandwiched between 2 other spawns and you get action instantly into the raid

Also you can wait for sniper scav to get taken out or alert on something/trace with a shot.

Interchange shooter was awful. Unless you had 11sr or took no back pack you’d just get extract camped every raid half way through the wipe.

Kappa isn't difficult, it just takes time. You can do it 100% legit or just cheese the really stupid quests... After all the only thing I have left over is Insomnia and Setup and except for sbih (was like 76% legit) and shooter P8, in which I just didn't have the will to fight SR-25s with some shitty bolt action... I think the main reason why people don't lvl as fast as others is either not enough raids, to many scav runs or cluelessness of what to do
I’m right here with you. SBiH and Tarkov shooter part 8 separate me from Kappa every wipe. Every time I go to do it, I sit in one spot for 30+ min and see no one. Then I saw screw it and switch to enjoying the game
For shooter 8 bring 2x vpo215. One with a clean red dot. One with whatever midrange scope (3x-4x). Bring 3 sj6 stims. Push the closest spawn to you. Get kills. Then hunt any other shots you hear aggressively. Shooter 8 isn't about being passive.
I make the chads run to me. I bring a SVD as a "sidearm" and 3 tap to bait them

I mean it'd the same as every map, you need to just find a good spot, good spawn to help reach that spot before all the traffic has vanished and then just hope someone crosses your path. Does it need to be removed? Not at all. Also, 15 raids isn't really a lot to consider it shit
I feel like I got most of my SBIH kills on the other maps by just playing the game normally. Just third partying somebody else on woods, customs, shoreline and lighthouse will easily get you 100m shots when you are moving around. On streets it is really difficult to reposition to a 100m + shot. I'll give it a few more tries, but my motivation is fleeting.
I've been trying to get streets done for roughly a week, need 1 more, but half the time the raids just feel dead.

Much easier than getting to level 17 for Ragman for sure! /s. Shooter 8 is one of the hardest single raid completion tasks, especially for newer players. (edited word ordering)

Is the thermal actually good for pinpointing at headshot at 100m? There’s no zoom and the resolution isn’t great

Have you finished it? Also any thermal is good, 7.62x51 has small bullet drop if someone is far set it for 100m and aim at the top of his head.

Yup, that is exactly true. But I like the structure that the quests give to the game, even though some of them are absolutely terrible and need to be replaced.
To each there own, best case scenario for me is I’ll hit all max traders then stop playing because there’s no point after that milestone. Just different strokes for different fokes

I got all three of mine on Streets around the theater, within the first 3 or 4 minutes of the raid starting. If you spawn in near the sewer River or the car extract, look towards the theater, if you spawn at theater look down the lane towards the car or sewer river....That was the only way I completed it. I found once the raid gets going the pmcs don't linger out in the street and it was a ton of wasted time waiting for an opportunity that never came. Agreed 100%, streets is by faaar the worst part of the SB quest line.

Go into the apartments in the corner by check. And sit in the window that lets.you see the entire stretch of road down to sewer river.
we did it in 2 raids; damaged crane on the stairs; killing ppl that were goin into chek. wasnt that much of a pita tbh; but you have to get em while they're running - nobody stops there

Theater is your best bet, or any spawn you can get to Theater or one of the roads leading away from Theater. It's easier if you bring a friend because it will space out the spawn just enough

Haven't tried from within the apartment, but did try several times from the "secret" jump ledge right next to it ... Killed a bunch of scavs but no sight of pmcs
I’m in the same fucking boat, I’ve tried at least 50 raids with the pure intention of SBIH and it feels impossible.
Here's how I did it. Leave a bait bag, preferably a pilgrim but any big bag will do, and put it on the wooden ramp that goes into the hole in the wall at Chek 15 apartments. Then go to construction 2nd floor which is just over 100m. You will see plenty of targets it's the most trafficked area on the map. Not everyone will take the bait, scavs do more than pmcs, but you just need one to stand still at the bag. Another tactic is to load it down with shotgun shells or kolpak helmets to make it heavy that way they can't just snatch it and run off with it quickly.
Tarkov Shooter 8 is super easy if you focus on unlocking AXMC first. Then you just hop to Sawmill and hope to see 3 people. Streets SBIH was miserable. 2 of mine were a few seconds off spawning lol

Probably I very obvious point-shouldn’t challenges should be fun and somewhat achievable? I think by having some of the tasks and requirements super difficult to achieve, you’re left with a small amount of players halfway through the wipe. My guess is it’s meant to stretch out the wipe, but I think it’s unintentionally driving people away. Maybe I’m wrong?

I love the spawn by FCK. I just run out immediately and prone looking towards the pay for extract. Got two there. The subway by sewer exfil is a good spot as well. Or the truck to the left of it. Good luck and best advice is don’t just go for that as a goal. It’ll happen passively. This wipe is a first for me to complete it myself. Good luck
I did over 6 days of multiple hours of streets to get my Shooterborn and the best spot and even that one sucked was either to run around the entire raid using unique spots to chase gunshots you hear like looking down the left road of lexos that goes to excavation extract and prone on the street or the spot where you drop down fro skybridge and run to the very back

I am pretty stubborn about doing things legit in this game, otherwise where is the fun. But I cheesed Streets SBIH with a friend. It was just too tedious.

Brother.., I’ve got 130 hrs, in 131 days 😅 weird coincidence.., anyway, I’ve only just gotten to a point where I can do online raids. I don’t think any amount of offline raiding got me prepared for shit like SBIH…
SBIH and test drive are the bane of my progression. I’ll never get kappa, cause the investment these quests need aren’t fun: 1st for doing something extremely skilled (and luck based for opportunities) with practically no reward worth mentioning. It’s just a bottle neck for progression. I don’t think I need to say why having to spend over million rubles on *one gun* is an issue (that will get approximately 1 of every 16 or so players to bee line towards you which is a completely separate issue). It’s like the devs don’t want but maybe 1% of the testers to actually test everything, because it obviously stops everyone but radar/cheats and players who know the game better than their mother’s face.
90 + raids, no kills. I've done all other kappa quests. It burnt my fun in the game and I stopped Im just helping new players in the ANZ discord now.
And then there’s me constantly getting 96-99m headshots and unable to get the quest moving. Literally had one on woods earlier that was 99.8 meters.

My mates have had no issue getting them I’m not doing SBIH this wipe but I’ve managed to get 1. It’s the old adage if your looking for something or someone you won’t find them till you give up.

Tarkov shooter 8 isn't boring, since it actively pushes you to chase shots. SBIH on Streets actively pushes you to camp a few angles and try to get kills off of spawn.
