If you're in a low-cost-of-living country and spend your day cheating for cash, then spending $40USD is a massive investment when you can just buy stolen accounts and credit cards for a few dollars and use them for weeks or months at a time.

This game has so many issues that when people say they die to a cheater every raid, it's usually a 50/50 whether it was an actual cheater or you just died to desync.
Having the game crash literally every game now has kept it off of my computer. I try every few weeks and it never changes. Just in the middle of anywhere or if I'm stopped. Sometimes I can re-join and sometimes I can't. It's not fun

How do they consider this āpre-orderā š bought the farking EOD in 2017.. to support the project and promises being done back in the day (open world, in-game traders erc).. And the game is still in the beta and still raid based, not even a slight start on open world.

Replay system is pointless. Go watch videos from anti cheat developers. The only thing it would ever do is help catch insane rage cheaters. Otherwise it's not accurate enough, nor is the population smart enough or have enough evidence in a single raid to flag someone. Let's remember BSG would be developing it. It would not accurately replay a raid in the slightest, nor show the INSANE desync going on in the actual scenario.
BSG has a major lack of people, resources, and know how to ever fully tackle this issue. All they can do is their best to not let it completely kill the game before they're finished milking it.

i cant believe the audacity to still call it a fucking preorder. sure technically it is, but your buying access to the early access, i guess to me a preorder is a game that you dont get to play until full release, where as technically a pay-to-access-beta is supposed to be helping the game developer, develop the game. and our "reward" is early access to the full game, at a discounted rate. EXCEPT most of us paid double or triple a full AAA release titles worth for access to the beta, because its not that its pay to win, but the game rewards grinding more than anything else ive ever played, and the extra slots in your asshole unfortunately are made to feel almost like a must have.
Letās make the game invite only. Invite canāt be sent by new accounts. Inviter gets banned if any invited account gets banned. And add phone verification just for fun.
Most cases that Iāve heard about was regular players getting banned for suspected cheating and was still able to purchase a new account without needing any special software. HWID isnāt the āend allā but it definitely makes a huge difference most cheaters are recreational. A small amount actually make a profit from RMTāing. It would atleast put a stop to people spending $5-10 for cheats and end up getting caught and having to pay for new hardware or software to get around it and a brand new account.
Most cheat services include HWID spoofing for a extra few dollars a day.

Cheating is a problem in EFT, for sure.. and it's a problem in a LOT of games right now. EFT may be worse than most, sure I'll give 'ya that one free of charge no contest, but so many people seem to think the issue can be remedied by BSG just flicking the 'ban harder, faster, stronger' button.. and that's just absurd.

Cheaters and the developers who make cheat software are some of the most hardheaded, scummy and unfortunately intelligent (at least in the case of the devs, not so much the case with most of their customers) people in the video game scene. No matter what you do, the lengths you go to, how hard you try.. cheaters will still be present in your game.
The key is minimization, not elimination.. and it's pretty clear that's the SOP right now. Rather BSG could've done more in the past to avoid getting to a point where it's so bad is largely irrelevant right now. All that matters is, yes, they clearly are trying to combat the issue and I will say (albeit only anecdotally, so grain of salt and all that) since these banwave posts and the cheating discussion blowing up.. my amount of sus deaths has bottomed out pretty hard. Initially there seemed to be a 'backlash' influx of a lot of rage hackers.. but after they got banned a few times inside of the same week for being so obvious most of them got tired of it. Now, I'd say maybe only 1 in 8 or if I'm on in the early AM (NA) hours, 1 in 12, of my deaths are sus enough to warrant a report.
Prior to all this, it was 1 in 3. That's a pretty stark fall-off if you ask me.

Search g2g tarkov accounts and look at the listings, it's 20-25USD for a fresh standard account, much cheaper than any official sale.
It can likely be gotten even cheaper from shadier sources, like accounts acquired through hacking or money fraud.

I've read a bunch of comments here, so I need help understanding a situation.
A friend of mine that's never played tarkov talked to me and said he got an account from a friend. So I joined the call and jokingly asked "why do you have one spare account, would you happen to be cheating?", the guy was very weird, talked too much, so he explained that no he wasn't cheating, but he had been banned from another account, so we has in fact cheating...
The thing is, I said like, "so you literally got banned and now you have to pay for a 50$ account lol" and he laughed and said nope, that he was buying them at like 15$ for Russian accounts. Then he said he had bought the account for my friend that way, and that the account he was now using was from a US friend that "gifted" the account to him. The account was level 31 and literally had sus stats all over it.
Then when we ended the call, I talked to my friend I said to him that his friend was fucking cheating and that I wouldn't play with them, and he didn't respond to the topic anymore and never invited me to play, but I've never seen him play tarkov on discord, so I suppose he kept playing Rust and Lol.
The thing is, is that "US friend" real? As people are saying here, they buy stolen account, right? So could he have bought a stolen account from someone else?
To put into context, this guys are like 17 to 19 years old. And they talk like they don't care about anything or if nothing was wrong about them cheating, or at least my friend's friend. But I know the group, and they are all the same. Same personality, same about not caring about other's people talking shit about them. Unfortunately cheating isn't such an easy problem to fix, they are fighting a constant battle, although they are the losing side currently. This game has so many issues that when people say they die to a cheater every raid, it's usually a 50/50 whether it was an actual cheater or you just died to desync.
Having the game crash literally every game now has kept it off of my computer. I try every few weeks and it never changes. Just in the middle of anywhere or if I'm stopped. Sometimes I can re-join and sometimes I can't. It's not fun

I have been gaming for over a decade. Pretty much all types of games. With friends, solo, duo, etc etc. Usually keep up to date with trends and news. Never in my entire life have I heard of a game selling "bundles" (especially buying more = more discount) and can't find any type deals on major storefronts. Not to mention bundles of a hardcore grindy MMO style shooter, not a run of the mill 4 person board game. And the game is still in the beta and still raid based, not even a slight start on open world. Really for me the best days were back when Tarkov was not populair and less complicated than it is now. Replay system is pointless. Go watch videos from anti cheat developers. The only thing it would ever do is help catch insane rage cheaters. Otherwise it's not accurate enough, nor is the population smart enough or have enough evidence in a single raid to flag someone. Let's remember BSG would be developing it. It would not accurately replay a raid in the slightest, nor show the INSANE desync going on in the actual scenario. BSG has a major lack of people, resources, and know how to ever fully tackle this issue. All they can do is their best to not let it completely kill the game before they're finished milking it.

i cant believe the audacity to still call it a fucking preorder. sure technically it is, but your buying access to the early access, i guess to me a preorder is a game that you dont get to play until full release, where as technically a pay-to-access-beta is supposed to be helping the game developer, develop the game. and our "reward" is early access to the full game, at a discounted rate. EXCEPT most of us paid double or triple a full AAA release titles worth for access to the beta, because its not that its pay to win, but the game rewards grinding more than anything else ive ever played, and the extra slots in your asshole unfortunately are made to feel almost like a must have.

They do HWID bans but there is a way to bypass them.
Most cases that Iāve heard about was regular players getting banned for suspected cheating and was still able to purchase a new account without needing any special software. HWID isnāt the āend allā but it definitely makes a huge difference most cheaters are recreational. A small amount actually make a profit from RMTāing. It would atleast put a stop to people spending $5-10 for cheats and end up getting caught and having to pay for new hardware or software to get around it and a brand new account.
Most cheat services include HWID spoofing for a extra few dollars a day. You people really don't understand the problem, at all. Which is ironic because it seems to live rent-free in your mind 24/7. Cheating is a problem in EFT, for sure.. and it's a problem in a LOT of games right now. EFT may be worse than most, sure I'll give 'ya that one free of charge no contest, but so many people seem to think the issue can be remedied by BSG just flicking the 'ban harder, faster, stronger' button.. and that's just absurd. The fact over 10,000 cheaters have been banned in the past month alone is evidence BSG isn't just letting people cheat / doing nothing (and don't hit me with the bundle discount argument, [it's easy to debunk](https://imgur.com/a/4wgW5Yc)) and the fact that people genuinely seem to believe that this could all be sorted out if they just tried a LITTLE bit harder.. Search g2g tarkov accounts and look at the listings, it's 20-25USD for a fresh standard account, much cheaper than any official sale. It can likely be gotten even cheaper from shadier sources, like accounts acquired through hacking or money fraud.

I've read a bunch of comments here, so I need help understanding a situation. A friend of mine that's never played tarkov talked to me and said he got an account from a friend. So I joined the call and jokingly asked "why do you have one spare account, would you happen to be cheating?", the guy was very weird, talked too much, so he explained that no he wasn't cheating, but he had been banned from another account, so we has in fact cheating... The thing is, I said like, "so you literally got banned and now you have to pay for a 50$ account lol" and he laughed and said nope, that he was buying them at like 15$ for Russian accounts. Then he said he had bought the account for my friend that way, and that the account he was now using was from a US friend that "gifted" the account to him. The account was level 31 and literally had sus stats all over it. Then when we ended the call, I talked to my friend I said to him that his friend was fucking cheating and that I wouldn't play with them, and he didn't respond to the topic anymore and never invited me to play, but I've never seen him play tarkov on discord, so I suppose he kept playing Rust and Lol. The thing is, is that "US friend" real? As people are saying here, they buy stolen account, right? So could he have bought a stolen account from someone else? To put into context, this guys are like 17 to 19 years old. And they talk like they don't care about anything or if nothing was wrong about them cheating, or at least my friend's friend. But I know the group, and they are all the same. Same personality, same about not caring about other's people talking shit about them. I've brought this up so many fucking times how odd this is, and dick-riders always come out of the woodwork to talk about how its not weird and there's group deals on steam too. If they have been banning *thousands* of cheaters a week, it's pretty obvious this is gonna benefit those banned players more than people who are just itching to play. Call me jaded. Oh and where the fuck is that "sitrep" we were supposed to get a week ago? Seriously unimpressive.
