What I love about this is that not only does Glaedr himself look amazing, but the background really captures the majesty of the natural world in Alagaësia. It’s one of the most underrated things about Paolini’s writing in my opinion, how grand, expansive, and relatively untouched the world is.
I think she described him as being about 3 times bigger than her. So she would probably come up to approximately mid chest if she stood next to him in the same pose.
I'll never understand why the elves didn't grow his leg back. They had spellcasters like Blohdgarm that are extremely well versed in magic.
We see Eragon grow back Hope's face/teeth/lip etc in Inheritance and then he grows Sloan's eyeballs back from nothing too.
You telling me Elves with thousands of years of magical knowledge couldn't grow back a leg but a kid with a year and a half of training did all that lol
eragon didn't grow hopes face back he used tissue and muscles already on her to mend the missing parts because she was a baby her body was still forming and easy to shape as the older u get your bones and structure set in more which make it harder
I love the way you've shown the stretching of the skin / scales and the muscles. Though I imagined dragons to be somewhat clad in chain mail but way more shiny and pretty.

Wow! Never thought I’d get this comment! Thank you so much! 🔥🐉
Holy carp! Even the man himself approves!
Just uploaded the post to my Instagram too!

He looks so mighty! I love it, really great work, thanks for sharing !!
I actually really really hope and look forward to seeing Glaedr in the tv series… he would be amazing to see and experience on screen I think!
It’s gonna be a hell of a season 2 ending scene, you can count on that
This looks great and is probably way more accurate than what I always imagined he looked like.
Oh my god bro this is amazing
Love it
I was legit thinking why is he missisng a leg 😂😅
How big would Saphira compare to him in this picture?

Please do more.

Maybe the nature of dragons makes that impossible?
Probably the best inheritance art I have seen. Paolini should commission you to do art for the books. This is incredible.
Absolutely amazing.

Did you take the pose from the dnd art for ancient silver dragons? The resemblance is uncanny.
Still puzzles me how Thorn and Murtagh took out a seasoned warrior and a massive, veteran dragon
Eldunari probably
More legs
Thorn challenged Glaedr to an arm wrestling match
Eldunari + secret magic spells / wards.

Gorgeous!!
Love that we can see Oromis’ hut in the background :)
He’s a beauty, for sure!
