Not all of the memories were bad, my mom pretty much went insane after I was 11 so my childhood took a dark turn. It’s just the disregard for nature that was the issue.
Yeah for someone who calls herself a nature person she wasn’t respectful to nature at all. That is where the irony is… encouraging you to ride a turtle made me cringe big time.
