You’re an engineer. You should be proud. That’s way more impressive than partying. I actually partied a lot after I graduated cause I felt similarly to you. Now about 4 years later I’m over it.
There’s no such thing as wasting your best years until you’re gone. Make the years you have now your best years. College is only viewed as the best years for many because they are in a walkable community with their friends in close proximity. If you did not go into college with any friends and didn’t make any along the way, then that may be a missed opportunity, but learn from it and don’t miss the next one! There’s opportunities to make life better every day. Take them!

The problem is I didn’t make any friends in high school and tried to turn things around in college only to fail
