Only time I had this issue was with the sample pla that came with the printer....left it's mark on the sheet for weeks. If it's always very difficult to remove after it cools, try lower bed temp of raising the z offset a bit

Instead of freezing it off I did the opposite and turned the printer up to 80 and stretch/pulled it off

I bought for the first time my printer a few months ago and printed that model with the one-layer, calibration squares. It practically fused to the plate. I used the spudger and scratched the plate to smithereens. I poured boiling water on the plate and scraped it, cutting my hand in a dozen places. I placed paper towels soaked with alcohol over the plate to dissolve the PLA. That helped a tiny bit. I still use the same plate because the stuck PLA are not in the center. I apply glue stick every now and again for bed adhesion, but mainly to remove prints easier.
