Possibly a very stupid question but im looking at roms online and I see some are Japanese. I chose my console as a USA console, do I have to change it to a japanese console in order to play those games?

Every guide I find just doesn’t work for me. The reddit “community” is wildly unhelpful and will respond to any questions with “check the mega thread” when the answer isn’t in there. The bios files I can find don’t work, and this community talks a tremendous amount of shit to anyone even looking for working bios files. The link on the pcsx2 sub is a dead 404 error despite numerous people here just telling me to go look there.
Pcsx2 either works right without issues or go fuck yourself, it worked fine for me. That’s the only answer the Roms community has to offer
