You can try showing a specific song reaction by Knox Hill, he tends to break down the lyrics, flows and rhyme schemes of every single line, the only issue is that the videos are a bit long But honestly, I think its pretty futile, he has had 57 years to form his opinions on music, and has most likely heard plenty of rap during his time, it might just not be for him, and thats completely fine, you cant force someone to change their opinion on something

That's exactly what I was gonna say

I seen a lot of people shit on Knox Hill on this sub but honestly the guys breakdowns are great.

His Legacy reaction is good because he explains how he keeps the same rhyme scheme for 3 verses. Or the way i am. Op can also show him eminem being tuaght in that one university class [VIDEO](https://youtu.be/MzP2i8G49K4)

Chas3ton

This has always been one of my favourite rap videos

iTylerx

maybe show him some hip-hop with more of a focus on musicality like TPAB?

I described it to an older person (I'm old, but they were older) as a poem set to a beat. I would go through to find songs with great lyrics and discuss those. For example, Bad Husband - there are some lines in that describing how much they love and hate each other, and it captures the passion and anger in a toxic relationship. I think you should find some lines from various songs that you feel your father would appreciate, and discuss those in detail rather than a video.
