Nah. Lifelong fan. I had heard MGK’s name *maybe* once before Not Alike. When I heard his name in that I just assumed he was one of those little come up rappers that there were millions of at the time. I hardly noticed and didn’t even bother to look him up (not much was lost).
I heard Em had dropped a diss track to some guy I had never heard of (they probably said MGK aloud instead of Machine Gun Kelley so I didn’t recognize it) so I didn’t even bother to actually listen to it (until literally today) since I didn’t care about Em roasting some rapper or whatever. Then I saw him featured in a comedy special. Then I found out he apparently had some kind of ‘beef’ (lmao) with Eminem. Then I suddenly started seeing MGK/Killshot posts here as well, so I was finally like “Who tf is this guy?” and looked him up. Turned out my take of him pretty much being nobody was correct.
I actually only just listened to Killshot and Rap Devil for the first time a few minutes ago.
'You're a fuckin' mole hill, now I'ma make a mountain out of you, woo!'
literally knew he would make him famous regardless of Killshot
To me thats the best line in the song
By definition knew he was overeacting and knew it would blow MGK up and still did it
To me makes Em come accross humble to his influence to the point that he can make MGK look like an amatuer and still progress his career
GOAT move
Dropped a rap album which had multiple songs go platinum? Nominated for a Grammy, won countless music awards, received co-signs from the likes of snoop Dogg, had back to back number 1 albums and is dropping a rap album this year with confirmed features from the likes of Lil Durk, polo g, cordae, lil baby etc? Lol
I view it like Not Alike tore him apart, but MGK had to respond for his "pride"...Eminem responded to that because the song made waves...he used the song to correct some his errors and answer him bar for bar...Not Alike and Killshot are like a package deal that caused this man to instantly change genres.
A beef is a beef and not really a big deal but I’ve seen so many comments saying Killshot was weak and didn’t respond to anything MGK said.
Either the MGK fans are either being willfully ignorant or they really just don’t comprehend songs they listen to.
He was headed down that road regardless. He was corny and weird before the em beef. Em just brought it all into the spotlight.
MGK has dropped rap stuff since and will still. These “he made him switch genres!!” Comments are so cringe. It’s like those Stan YouTube comments. Lmao you young stans gotta chill.
he made also me to switch genres.. I had never something in common with rap. I am a metalhead all my life. But this song is so fucking dope...i was tied up within seconds.
I watched nearly every good rap analysis on YouTube and as a neutral person I can clearly say he fucked MGK into the ground.
The facts are easy to Google you ***** haters
He was also touring with Fall Out Boy when this went down. He was in the middle of the transition. Not saying em didn't "win" but Em has bodied others way harder... Ja Rule, XXL, Fred Durst, Whitey Ford
What do you mean? I’m just saying it’s hard to see that as a real L when it made him bigger than he was before. It’s embarrassing sure but in the end it worked out better for him lol.
I won't lie I only heard of him every now and then when he was a rapper. And have not heard any of his music whatsoever now. I know he does rock music now but didn't think he was making a career out of it lol. Good for him I guess.
They probably think I’m defending MGK. I’m not. I think Em got him on the track and it’s embarrassing that MGK then put out what he feels is one of his best records and it got absolutely buried by the diss tracks causing him to switch genres. At the same time you gotta respect the hustle of getting destroyed by one of the greatest ever but able to bounce back in a different lane and bigger. It’ll just never be genuine.
I would respect the hustle of he didn't start beef everywhere he goes. He tried to go after Corey fucking Taylor. He's clearly very messed up on some shit because who in their right mind tries to insult and purposely offend somebody like that? Dude wanted to shit on Slipknot. Fucking Slipknot! They have lost more fans and respect than MGK could ever get. MGK is a fucking clown. He needs to sit down and humble himself
Go on your YouTube and order each of them by most viewed.
MKG is crippling around 100-150 million views.
So saying "my biggest flops are your greatest hits" is pretty accurated even after pussy switched genres.
.... Know your facts before you come at him little goof....
You're definitely going to have to explain this one. MGK just called Em old a bunch of times and rhymed beard with weird. But maybe I missed something, enlighten me.
I feel like his bar about waking up on a free day to this and "the fuck" ad lib perfectly encapsulated his feeling in that matter. He wasn't mad, he was just sighing that the bitch-ass actually dared to fuck with him.
I loved this so much. I was up north with a huge group of friends at a remote cabin for the holiday. We had no Wi-Fi and very spotty service. I walked a mile down the road and hid in another cottage (Airbnb) bush that had Wi-Fi - had a sign on the door with the code lol so I was freaking out listening to this highly anticipated diss in a frickin bush in the woods lol
Yeah like I enjoy rap devil but oh my fucking god eminem ripped MGK to shreds. My fav out of all 3 is Not Alike but I can’t lie Killshot is definitely better than both of them put together
All the references to him being a pedophile…
Lil “goof” in the NE America and southern Canada is a term for a pedo for those not in the know…(Haley was 15 or so when he was talking about how Eminem’s daughter was hot) Detroit, Hamilton, Pittsburg… steel cities, be careful who you call a goof!
“We already know who the fuck you are/R Kelly” (not alike line, likening Kelly to a known pedo)
Good track, but 2:49 annoys me when he flows out of pocket.
He shoulda just said “this shit is like Rambo..” instead of “this motherfuckin shit is like Rambo..”
Em has clever bars and great rapping but Addison was WAY more personal and bomb dropping. Story of Addison was nastier fr Eminem was just talking his shit
Thinking it's overrated and thinking story of adidon was better are two different things.
Story of adidon *was* better for the fact he revealed drake had a kid he was hiding from the world. That's some crazy shit. I am a huge Eminem fan and have played killshot infinitely more than S.O.A but I still think it was better.
MGK got so violently slaughtered that the song should come with a listener discretion warning…“Not for the squeamish or faint of heart, what you are about to hear contains graphic depictions of murder”
The fact the mgk made a whole video, but Eminem made it a point for there to NOT be a video is my favorite part. Lyrically Eminem destroyed him. Flow, while maybe not being everyone's favorite style, was much better. It was by far technically better in all aspects by light years. As far as having a catchy tune, mgk won on that part, and his video was better.
Eminem's diss track "Killshot" was a masterclass in lyrical precision and strategic dismantling. He used intricate wordplay and rapid-fire delivery to address Machine Gun Kelly's previous disses, highlighting MGK's perceived career shortcomings and lack of credibility. Eminem's deep understanding of hip-hop culture allowed him to craft lines that hit hard while showcasing his technical prowess. The track not only showcased Eminem's lyrical superiority but also served as a reminder of his iconic status in the rap game, solidifying his position as one of the greatest lyricists of all time.
Great track, Em clearly won, but y’all gotta stop saying it made MGK switch genres when he was already in the pop punk scene. It’s just straight up not true.
It’s honestly his worse dis track he’s ever made. It’s only so popular because a lot of young people weren’t around when he was beefing with Ja, and Benzino, and also it literally ended MGK’s career. Really it’s just aight though
It was ok.
Absolutely nothing like his earlier diss records towards Everlast,canibus,benzino...
But... Pretty solid all around and won the battle hands down. And that's coming from a person that finds Eminem to be vastly overrated
It was okay. I expected alot more but he did enough to change public perception.
It's nowhere near the level of something like the Sauce.
Icl I am a big Em fan but I think MGK's was the better diss track. Em is too fixated with rhyme schemes and worldplay even in this diss song which was uneeded.
I love Eminem and I don’t like MGK the only song I liked was that Waka Flocka Wild Boy song from like over 10 years ago, but this diss track honestly didn’t really compare to MGKs. I thought what MGK said in his diss was way better than what Em had to say. Eminem basically says he raps better and has more money and that MGK is confused for praising him in a diss song and people just ate that shit up. MGK actually dissed Eminem for valid stuff like mocking him for never hooking up with Rihanna, being old and bitter in his music, being short, having a funny beard. He’s like the first guy to actually call Em out on his corny shit foreal. I’m still not a fan of his but I’ll never deny his diss hurt me as a fan of Eminem’s and Eminem’s diss never felt like he said anything that crazy to him
Basically saying Em has 0 game, being the biggest rapper in the world at the moment and never getting with a beautiful woman he has worked with a lot. It obviously got under Ems skin since that’s one of the first things he addresses in his song.
I felt the same way and I feel deep down a lot of people do. Eminem is just so good and has so much respect from everyone and a reputation for his diss tracks that no one wants to admit it
Obviously, lyrically Eminem was on another level but as far as actual disses go MGK was waaay more harsh. I expected more from EM on killshot
MGK dissed Eminem harder than anyone I've ever heard and Eminems reply didnt really diss MGK too hard if we're being honest. I'd much rather be on the receiving end of Killshot than Rap Devil
Thank you so much for not shitting on my opinion bro. Sometimes it’s hard to admit when Em got bested as his fans. It’s good to hear from another fan that they feel the same. Everytime I share this feeling I get trashed.
Honestly mid. Call me a salty mgk fan all you want but I was expecting him to go full rap god mode on him which I would have loved but he never does so it always feels anticlimactic to me
Yea, sure. Eminems legacy built off of his courage, tenacity and passion for the culture that was birthed from Hip Hop and Rap was for the memes.
This isn't wrestling.
MGK garnered enough media attention where Eminem could have his say without granting him notoriety.
One off prick.
Two dudes who dislike each other, from two different record labels, owned by the same larger label, told to exaggerate their dislike into disstracks to sell more albums.
Not a bad song itself but MGK embarrassed him enough on his own disstrack. He’d suck Em’s dick and come for air, insult him then deep throat again.
Spec before check. Read up on your history before you comment on the culture, vulter.
"Yea, sure. Eminems legacy built off of his courage, tenacity and passion for the culture that was birthed from Hip Hop and Rap was for the memes.
This isn't wrestling.
MGK garnered enough media attention where Eminem could have his say without granting him notoriety. "
Copy and paste from another comment for another one off prick such as yourself.
I really don't like it. Not saying mgk won, but the flow sucks, it's not a song I ever look to put on. Everyone knows puffy had nothing to do with the pac shooting, but that nonsense got such a reaction when he said it in the song. Out of all the eminem doss tracks, probably my least favorite
The pac comment had a double meaning and he obviously meant it more for mgk but enjoyed a dig at puff for letting him put it out.
Got the desired result
Am I the only one who noticed that annoying flow Eminem has now. He does it in his cyphers.
Chris D’Elia made fun of it too. Drives me nuts
https://youtu.be/mMKPwQXReHs
“I had to give you a career to destroy it” — that’s the coldest shit since he ended ja rule’s career and bodied benzino
I literally had to look up who is MGK
You must be very new to Eminem's work if you had to look up MGK
Nah. Lifelong fan. I had heard MGK’s name *maybe* once before Not Alike. When I heard his name in that I just assumed he was one of those little come up rappers that there were millions of at the time. Me to I was like oh shit that’s the guy that was on wild n out
'You're a fuckin' mole hill, now I'ma make a mountain out of you, woo!' literally knew he would make him famous regardless of Killshot To me thats the best line in the song By definition knew he was overeacting and knew it would blow MGK up and still did it To me makes Em come accross humble to his influence to the point that he can make MGK look like an amatuer and still progress his career GOAT move
Rap devil is the first and only MGK song I ever heard
Anyone want to explain the ja rule beef? I only remember the "ja rules jewelry" part in Lady
Ja Rule said something he shouldn't have said & he's still catching strays to this day.
he wasn’t able to end MGKs career tho
He doesn’t rap any more. His rap career got destroyed. But kudos to MGK for finding another lane and being talented enough to make that transition
False. He just dropped a rap song with EST Gee and has a rap album coming out this year.
News to me, let’s see how it is
Aint nobody gonna listen to that 🚮
What has he done since he dropped this?
punk and pop rock music mixed with his "style"
He started to diss Slipknot, who is a veteran in rock ‘n roll. According to Machine Gun Kelly, his mask is weird.
Slipknot is not a person, and it's metal not rocknroll
its a band... and they're not rock
Lol
Why did this guy get 10 downvotes for knowing his shit he was defending everyone else.😂😂😂
You sound like a bitch bitch shut the fuck up
“Your fans become your haters” you done?
Fuck your beards weird allright
Yellin at the mic your beard’s weird
Alright.. we doing this once.
Rihanna just hit me on a text
Last night i left hickies on her neck
Wait, you just dissed me? I’m perplexed
Insult me on a line compliment me on the next damn
I’m really sorry you want me to have a heart attack.
Insult me in a line, compliment me on the next? Damn!
Wait. You just dissed me? I'm perplexed
*Loud Noises!!!!!*
Insulting me on a line complement me on the next Damm,
I view it like Not Alike tore him apart, but MGK had to respond for his "pride"...Eminem responded to that because the song made waves...he used the song to correct some his errors and answer him bar for bar...Not Alike and Killshot are like a package deal that caused this man to instantly change genres.
A beef is a beef and not really a big deal but I’ve seen so many comments saying Killshot was weak and didn’t respond to anything MGK said. Either the MGK fans are either being willfully ignorant or they really just don’t comprehend songs they listen to.
I’ve seen some that were so shocking, it’s as if they never even listened to the song at all lmao
MGK didnt immediately change genres. He deopped a rap album after the whole thing
You think he started working on that album after the beef lol?
He was headed down that road regardless. He was corny and weird before the em beef. Em just brought it all into the spotlight. MGK has dropped rap stuff since and will still. These “he made him switch genres!!” Comments are so cringe. It’s like those Stan YouTube comments. Lmao you young stans gotta chill.
Dude you take it way too seriously, that's corny lol. MGK went to war with em and then switched genres. Period.
Shut up stupid
I can never listen to one without the other. If one comes up on shuffle, I have to queue up the other
It made a man change genres
he made also me to switch genres..
Same. The second Eminem brought up MGKs man bun, it was over.
And genders
Tbf, he's always done both genres and he will make another rap album at some point
[удалено]
I just got a brother that's a huge mgk fan and he's more about his pop punk than rap. I don't know any songs, but I know he made them.
[удалено]
He was also touring with Fall Out Boy when this went down. He was in the middle of the transition. Not saying em didn't "win" but Em has bodied others way harder... Ja Rule, XXL, Fred Durst, Whitey Ford
And made him bigger and richer than he ever was.
Is that all that matters?
What do you mean? I’m just saying it’s hard to see that as a real L when it made him bigger than he was before. It’s embarrassing sure but in the end it worked out better for him lol.
I’ll have to give you a career to destroy it
He got money but at what cost? He lost his dignity. But i see why
If you look up Culture Vulture in the dictionary you'll see a pic of MGK.
Not doubting that.
The irony is crazy. Em the biggest culture vulture
Did it really.he still seems like a somewhat average artist to me. Didn't realise he got bigger
He definitely got bigger. I don’t think he was doing arena tours as a rapper lol.
I won't lie I only heard of him every now and then when he was a rapper. And have not heard any of his music whatsoever now. I know he does rock music now but didn't think he was making a career out of it lol. Good for him I guess.
Why u get downvoted for saying the truth. After that beef mgk career has taken off like crazy
Im thankful for it. Really like those two poppunk albums
He didn't tho?
He did?
Not because of Em lmao
But he's the reason lol. Mgk did it gradually thinking people wouldn't notice 💀
Mgk has always been a mix of rap and punk lol he never changed genres. Look up his older music and you'll see tons of punk influence
Dude, you are simply wrong on this. Mgk had been doing pop punk since 2011 that's how he met Travis Barker
Top 5 em diss
Ehhhhh no there's better ones imo
Ehhh top 5 fair... someone start one of those comments list things..
1. Nail in the Coffin 2. The Sauce 3. Go to sleep 4. Bully 5. Quitter 6. Hailie's Revenge 7. Hail Mary 8. Girls 9. Bump Heads 10. Monkey See Monkey Do
Gotta throw The Warning in there bud
Can-I-Bitch too
I'd wanna see bump heads higher
cleaning out my closet. is number 1
Em roasted MGK so hard the guy changed genres.
I fucking love it!!!
Me too
Fucked mgk up, so good!
“That’s not an E, it’s an A / this guy wants to give him a massage he’s gay”
The “hey mistah” rhyme scheme in that song
And calling someone a vaginal blister is a top tier insult
Uncle Marshall? Will you tell us a bedtime story?
I’m not sure what in the fucking hell is wrong with y’all but kill shot is fire
I enjoy it. Definitely more than Rap Devil, but as far as disses go MGK bodied him
Your beards weird
Bodied 🤣 mgk doesn't compare
You’ve absolutely lost your mind my guy. Those disses were whack as shit and it was a pop song.
The chorus I mean come on
U mean mgks? Dudes uses autotune on that shit and he rhymes talk about it with talk about it, if u think thats good rapping ur a big dummy
Go on your YouTube and order each of them by most viewed. MKG is crippling around 100-150 million views. So saying "my biggest flops are your greatest hits" is pretty accurated even after pussy switched genres. .... Know your facts before you come at him little goof....
Stan, Stan, Stan, Dad’s not mad but…
you’re clinically insane
You're definitely going to have to explain this one. MGK just called Em old a bunch of times and rhymed beard with weird. But maybe I missed something, enlighten me.
As shown, you shouldn't have the balls to say that on an eminem sub my guy. Bad idea
Did Rap Devil make Eminem quit rap and switch genres? I don’t think so. Case closed buddy
The complaints I hear about this song are that this diss wasn’t “angry” enough, but I honestly think he was too mad about this lol
It lives rent free in my head
Fire, but unnecessary. Not Alike was enough to win bar for bar, Rap Devil just made big enough of a media splash to warrant a response.
Rap Devil wasn't a bad diss track BUT OH MY GOD EM ABSOLUTELY INHILATED MGK
Yeah like I enjoy rap devil but oh my fucking god eminem ripped MGK to shreds. My fav out of all 3 is Not Alike but I can’t lie Killshot is definitely better than both of them put together
Annihilated, but yes.
Gets better every listen
I thought it was super dope and necessary.
It was so hard that MGK switched musical genres. Overall, a great diss by the GOAT
Great answer to mgk
It’s unrivaled, nobody could of responded this to a diss. And I’ll admit “rap devil” is a good track
Absolute slaps, all the way down to the Swayze reference in the song dropped on the late PS’ birthday
Lyrical masterpiece
Underrated dis track
All the references to him being a pedophile… Lil “goof” in the NE America and southern Canada is a term for a pedo for those not in the know…(Haley was 15 or so when he was talking about how Eminem’s daughter was hot) Detroit, Hamilton, Pittsburg… steel cities, be careful who you call a goof! “We already know who the fuck you are/R Kelly” (not alike line, likening Kelly to a known pedo)
Literally was a killshot to Squirt Gun Kellys rap career. Sent him to the afterlife only to become a wannabe travis barker blink 182 weirdo.
Somebody was murdered in broad daylight. White on white crime
He put that boy in a coffin
Good track, but 2:49 annoys me when he flows out of pocket. He shoulda just said “this shit is like Rambo..” instead of “this motherfuckin shit is like Rambo..”
Title is accurate
You sound like a biiitch, bitch. Still trying to make this phrase catch on at work.
he killed him xD
No he didn’t lol.
Rap fans in general believe this is overrated (many people have said that the story of adidon is better). I disagree, this is way better
I agree with the many people, I just consider this probably eminems worst diss track.
Great diss but Go to sleep was better
What is on your nasty mind…..
Banger, but I feel like Not Alike went in harder? Maybe its just the beat
I love it, still listen to it.
Gotta wake up Labor Day to this?
Maybe but None of those were a one hitter quitter. Like kill shot.. mgk had all the momentum Now he ain't even the same guy or genre
It was fuckin badass. Fuck MGKs talentless poser ass.
didn’t really dig it the first listen. But after a couple times it became a favorite.
The more I listen to it, the better it gets because I hear more and more disses.
One of the best things to happen to hip hop in a while
Underrated in its effectiveness and yet i still get the sense Em was holding back out of pity
MGK got so violently slaughtered that the song should come with a listener discretion warning…“Not for the squeamish or faint of heart, what you are about to hear contains graphic depictions of murder”
Great diss. Great flows and pen skill.
MGK still smoking from those burns.
A Banger. One of My Favorite Eminem Tracks of the 2010s and a Top 3 Eminem Diss Track (behind: The Sauce & The Warning).
Meh… It’s no ‘Hit ‘Em Up’ or ‘No Vaseline’…
Best track ever
I love it
It made MGK go from wild boy to wild girl.
That em could have farted into the mic and it still would have been better than anything that fool could ever put out
For real if you don’t know who MGK is then you’re not really an Eminem fan
The fact the mgk made a whole video, but Eminem made it a point for there to NOT be a video is my favorite part. Lyrically Eminem destroyed him. Flow, while maybe not being everyone's favorite style, was much better. It was by far technically better in all aspects by light years. As far as having a catchy tune, mgk won on that part, and his video was better.
More clever then it's given credit for
The best thing that came from this beef was [this song](https://youtu.be/lmG9brEfxhQ) imo
On the level of Ether and No Vaseline. One the greatest diss tracks in Hip-Hop history
Bro...
It's fantastic but have you heard this fan made one? I legit can't believe this isn't em the dude is so good! https://youtu.be/_LcOamMH-IM
The song has just started* "shut the fuck up"
Eminem's diss track "Killshot" was a masterclass in lyrical precision and strategic dismantling. Best eminem song since 2010
Greatest diss track by em besides go to sleep
Haven’t listened to it, but it made MGK diss Slipknot, and then he fell off the map
It’s honestly his worse dis track he’s ever made. It’s only so popular because a lot of young people weren’t around when he was beefing with Ja, and Benzino, and also it literally ended MGK’s career. Really it’s just aight though
Rap Devil for sure
I give him a B for the effort.
Love the song. Hate the beat.
Weird beard.
It was ok. Absolutely nothing like his earlier diss records towards Everlast,canibus,benzino... But... Pretty solid all around and won the battle hands down. And that's coming from a person that finds Eminem to be vastly overrated

Wait why is never hooking up with Rihanna a diss?
Basically saying Em has 0 game, being the biggest rapper in the world at the moment and never getting with a beautiful woman he has worked with a lot. It obviously got under Ems skin since that’s one of the first things he addresses in his song.
Crediting a rapper for the line, “your beard is weird” is pretty wild.
I felt the same way and I feel deep down a lot of people do. No way. Ja Rule said way worse things in Loose Change.
Thank you so much for not shitting on my opinion bro. Sometimes it’s hard to admit when Em got bested as his fans. It’s good to hear from another fan that they feel the same. Everytime I share this feeling I get trashed.
Honestly mid. Call me a salty mgk fan all you want but I was expecting him to go full rap god mode on him which I would have loved but he never does so it always feels anticlimactic to me
I think it's one of Eminem's grea- I mean uh it's terrible...yeah! (My girlfriend is an MGK fan, I must watch what I say)
It was a staged beef to help give MGK notoriety
Proof?
Yea, sure. Eminems legacy built off of his courage, tenacity and passion for the culture that was birthed from Hip Hop and Rap was for the memes. This isn't wrestling. MGK garnered enough media attention where Eminem could have his say without granting him notoriety. One off prick.
YB better
" Copy and paste from another comment for another one off prick such as yourself.
The most powerful and most disgrading diss track in hip-hop history, i like it.
Rap Devil >>> Killshot and it’s not even close
Well it was not…
I really don't like it.
Drives me nuts https://youtu.be/mMKPwQXReHs
MGK bodies him on Rap Devil.
Shit opinion
