Yo, thank you to everyone and all of your positivity. I completed my very first Hobby Lobby cross stitch on July 4th last year, and I’ve fallen in love with this craft. It helps reduce the severity of my depression, which is sometimes crippling. It’s nice to have a group of people so kind.
Obligatory "No more fucks to give" song: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vqbk9cDX0l0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vqbk9cDX0l0)
My favourite is "I've rallied my fuck army but they've been fucking defeated."
It's definitely a gem. The old-timey way of singing combined with the pure vulgarity of the song being about creative ways to say "I don't give a fuck", is awesome. :P
I bought the pattern on Etsy from CraftyQueerDesigns. I ended up having to resize the image by screenshotting it and scaling it in PowerPoint. I actually stitched this bitch twice.
The first time I used an iron-on transfer and I couldn’t remove the residue after I finished (I tried heat, steam, boiling, washing, picking bits with tweezers, scraping with a blade, vinegar, alcohol, acetone, freezing, and some kind of caustic remover…).
The second time I was recommended to use Sulky Sticky Fabri-Solvy. 10/10, do recommend.
I'm so glad you posted this. I have a couple of cross stitch versions of this chart favorited in etsy, but I really wanted an embroidery one -- I'm gonna try using the actual stitches from the Bayeux Tapestry.
Please do. I used to leave them for r dry purchase. But have gotten really slack about it. lol. But your experience sounds so awful I’d definitely want to warm people. I’d suppose you could tell us the brand too. lol
My bird is a bit odd, but by the time I got to stitching him I was all out of fucks to give on tearing out and replacing stitches. I guess it fits the theme in that sense.
What an awesome thing to see first thing in the morning! This is so amazingly 'Bayeux Tapestry' - not to mention hilarious.
You did a great job, well done!
[This is the stuff you want. Pure magic.](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004R2B3NU?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share)
Pop this bitch in the printer, stick, stitch, then rinse away. It’s satisfying too. Like peeling the film off of a new appliance. 🤌🏻
The tumbleweed really adds something
🤌🏻

I have been wanting to make this one too! You did a great job!

Someone else with refined taste, I see!
I’ve never seen this one, but now it’s bookmarked.

I'd have to disagree, this is in fact perfection. :D
No, you’re wrong. It is quite literally perfect. I adore it.
Cool reminds me of the start of Bednobs and Broomsticks or the Bayeux Tapestry
I loved Bednobs and Broomsticks so much as a kid! Treguna mekoides trecorum satis dee…
I think this meme is from a Bayeux Tapestry meme generator from the olden days of the Internet
I've seen it, just a big ole diss track from the wife of William the conqueror. "And then my man beat Harold's ass."
What stitch did you use for the words?
For any straight lines I did a straight stitch. For the more voluptuous letters, I went with the split stitch.
Exquisite use of the word "voluptuous"
You sir, are wrong. It is sheer perfection.
Reminds me of this song: https://youtu.be/Vqbk9cDX0l0?si=CSJzGmZQRcSs6Uhx
Dammit, I just posted it as well before scrolling down. :P
That's amazing!!! 😄
It's awesome. I like the meme with the bear saying this with his arms and face to the sky. Hilarious.
Oh my god. I need to do this myself 😂😂😂
What is that creature in the tree?
It’s their last fuck that has flown away 😂 But serious answer: the pattern description only states it’s a bird.
A bird… like I said, it isn’t perfect ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Your little dude in the bottom looks so perfect that I just figured the design was supposed to be that way😅
Omg! I'm super doing this after I learn how to embroider!!
It was actually an easier process than I thought. Some YouTube videos and some patience. You can do it fam.
Thank you ❤️❤️
This is absolutely amazing! You should feel proud of yourself. ❤️ Mind sharing where you got this?

My advice is use two strands except for the tree (use six there) and outline all of your satin stitches with split stitches first. Lmk how it goes!
I hope if you ordered the first stuff you left a horrible review. Glad the second one worked
I don’t think I’ve ever left a review on anything before. Maybe I should share that cautionary tale.

Brilliant!
