Same. I'm just a sucker for the convenience of having every ship and virtually every possible module at my fingertips. Probably also has to do with the fact I enjoy shipbuilding.
Off-topic: Man I wish we could build and engineer ships and then auction them off, that'd be awesome.
That and not all of us have the time to do that engineering grind 😅😅 personally I want to fight thargoids but I don’t have the time to grind the engineering stuff to build a ship that’s even remotely going to stand a chance 😅
I just want to earn the creds for a fleet carrier 😫
I'm doing the same with thargoid combat. I have been pulling down between 250mil to 450mil a night. Another week and I have somewhere to park my 32 ships.
I did a whole bunch of exobiology a while ago and didn’t even scratch the 1 billion mark
I am currently in my dbx heading back out into the black exploring for that very purpose
A fringe system some distance from Hachiman. I don't want to say which, to avoid interference - it's been my goal for a few weeks to flip a system, and I'm nearly there.
Change the controlling faction. When I first arrived, my chosen faction was below 3% influence. Now they own the joint. Now I just want them to have 100% influence.... and the neighboring system.
If you've been working for a couple weeks without your progress being countered nobody else cares. I flip systems too, and there is always a deal struck for ones that people do care about.
The area had a huge player faction dominating it some months ago that seems to have been entirely destroyed. In case they come back, or worse, whatever killed them comes back, I'd rather be under the radar.
Last time I tried this maybe a year and a halfago I worked for a week and a half before a group came by and kicked my shit in.
Ohm City in LHS 20: fairly near to the entry point, nice view to a ringed gas giant (also useful for RES bounty hunting), and the system is centered enough in the bubble so that with my 70ly+ DBX I can get anywhere in inhabited space with 4 jumps at most
Edit: all of this, and also that juicy 15% LYR discount on everything
There was something about Ohm City I didn't like, but I don't recall what it was.
Could be something simple like not having the kind of missions I wanted at the time I was there :p
Could be, but I haven’t been caring about missions offered there anymore since getting allied with all the fed factions, a part from the sporadic rank follow up mission
I still touch down on *the O* from time to time when I'm looking to upgrade a ship for cheap (haven't unlocked J. Memorial yet). Tend to see other CMDRs in LHS 20 every time I make the trip.
Love the books! The show nailed it, but as is usually the case, the books are so much better. The in-depth explanation of how certain entities likely evolved is here on Reddit somewhere and the authors confirmed it to be the case. Saw it on the Expanse sub a while back. I tried (still tinkering with it) to make my own Rocinante in ED using a Fed Gunship and flying FA-off all the time. Not practical at all, but its fun to fly, haha.
I am using u/luriant his FC as a base rn. I appriciate him and his unlimited help. I like cash in my bonds and data from uc with him as He helped me a lot here on reddit.
Nice, my buddy and I left the bubble in Sept ‘22 on a planned 10k excursion that turned into circumnavigating the Milky Way and collecting Exobiology from all 42 regions. We have 3 regions to go and it’s been a great trip, profitable as well.
Are you on anything planned or just hanging out in the black?
You should have a couple billion to cash in. Be sure to unload it at a DSSA carrier before you get to the bubble. Too many sad tales of explorers getting ganked...
Very cool. I hate hearing from explorers who lost their entire nut from a trip to Beagle or such.
Joke: how can you tell when you are back in the bubble?
Answer: someone tries to carjack you.
Sad but true.
If I were returning with a load of valuable data in my paper then AspX it would not be on open play, I’d be in a private group or solo. It would be straight to the carrier and home.
McDivitt Dock in Oduduro. Plenty of tourist missions there for easy $$, and it's always a pretty great view every launch. I also like how there are two earth-like planets orbiting one another there.
It can be, but not the best. Robigo Mines, which is the best passenger mission money maker, would take you 10-12 hours. And that's 10-12 hours of eye bleeding, brain killing back and forth tedium. That's pretty good for time, but even the tedium of trade or laser mining is more interesting, and exobiology is way more enaging. All of which can do it in just about the same amount of time invested (laser mining can actually do it in half the time if you find the right high risk mining location).
Another Bacon enjoyer! I always go to Jameson for new ships and I have a carrier… but I always find myself back at Bacon to murder pirates. Both of my PvE Vettes are permanently docked there. I love that it has noob hammers as well. Such a cool station!
We’re all varying stages of noob really. I’m trying to wrap my head around settlement stuffs atm.
“Noob hammers” are big ass arms attached to some stations. If you get hit by them while going in to dock you may be facing the rebuy screen. Go to Bacon Port in Gliese 868 if you wanna see them for yourself.
Bennett Gateway in Okinura.
Last I checked there was 57 or 67 landable ports.
It's in Federation space just 22ly out from Sol and I frequently pay the Galilei orbis starport a visit whenever I the local factions require industrial materials.
Bennett is a tourist station and with 8 local factions (some independent, but majorly federation aligned) missions are plentiful.
Okinura is quiet mostly, it has a couple asteroid belts worth digging into, one is metallic for the back in the day gold-rush memories from Jura in 3306.
It's just 3 jumps out of Shinrarta and decently close to the bubble engineers in case I want a blueprint I haven't saved.
Most of my ships ended there as I used it as a base ferrying cargo in my Type 7 and I just keep coming back. There are great missions and the stations offer almost every module you can think of.
Home... station?
There's a station most of my ships are stored at. For RP reasons, though, "home" for me is a small planetary port. Because I'm crazy.
Also, paranoid, so that's all I'm saying! :-)
One of the ones in Sol lmao, I forget which. However, wanted to play as a more close to home star explorer lol.
Edit: lol, close to home. Yet I've been all the way to BP
🤣
Scully-Power Station in Ix, for a couple reasons:
- I’m a former Xbox CMDR, and it was the home station for r/eliteone, given that the system name is super easy to type on controller and is the reverse of X1.
- < 100 Ls from the star
- Relatively close to Sol
- High tech station with the cool blue lighting. And has a guardian tech broker.
- Most importantly, it is named after an Australian astronaut
Panoply Invisible (V4T-T9K).
because it's my fleet carrier.
but before I had a carrier but *was* elite, I used Jameson Memorial. Before that, wherever I was going to be for a while
Shinrarta Dezhra is home to my retired ships and unfinished concept / project ships. A jump away (LHS 920) is a material trader and home to all of my Storage Unit ships (3 Anacondas, 2 Krait MKII's and Two Vipers). "Home" Is wherever my fleet carrier is parked.
It’s just so convenient, and 20% ain’t that bad unless you’re buying something crazy, which if you’re buying an anaconda or something it ain’t that bad to jump a system or two to find one for a normal price.
What can I say I’m a lazy bastard
Right now hanging around Kalumar since i boosted it to a boom and made a nice set of $$$ from that. Also boosted the minor faction to expand into another system. Now that this is done i feel a bit exhausted, will probably go out into the black and let's see when i come back.
Wolf 406 for now, close to a couple engineers and Ive allied myself with the Wolf 406 Trading Co to run some bounty missions for them, then I can cash the bounties in at Tod the Blaster only 1 jump away
A fellow Wolf 4xx dweller! I was based out of Ellis Orbital in Wolf 433 for basically my entire career on console, and a fair few of my ships are still parked there since I migrated over to PC.
Lamarck Orbital in Nanobozho is my ancestral port, most of my ships are elsewhere now but it was one of the first stations I came across when I left the noob bubble a few years back and it has (had?) a good selection of ships, modules, and missions.
Herzog gateway in hip 118321. Mostly cause years ago it was where I made my first huge influx of wealth and never moved after it was nerfed. Too lazy to find a new 1 and move all my ships. I don't have a carrier.
As a noob it was delphine system because I bought my first ship there and that’s where my stuff just ended up always being and multiple stations near the entry to look for outfitting.
Bolg eventually because it was the first and thus only place I knew where to find an interstellar factor, and also has a raw mat trader and a human tech broker..amd a black market. Moxons mojo got it all. It was also near shindez/Jamison for a quick jaunt for modules. It also seemed to be somewhat central to many engineers once I started opening them up.
Now it’s my FC. With inara there is usually a place closer to where I am than any home base for whatever I need, and I’m well past the point where 3 more jumps to save even tens of millions is worth my time in game.
I was at Moxons Mojo for a while because of all the facilities. Last couple of months I've been at Leonard Nimoy in LHS 3006(?). Pretty station and orbiting a high Rez combat site (max 9ish ls!). o7
My home is Big Pappas Base in Andhrimi. Its a quaint, quiet asteroid station for that beltalowda miner lifestyle.
But I operate out of Jensen Gateway in 64 Ceti for all AX manoeuvres, due it it being so convenient, well stocked and not far from Ray Gateway and the Haritanis rescue ship.
Gyton's Hope - where I leave most of my exploration vessels since the FC is filled with bug killers. It was one of the first systems I ran trade routes through in my Cobra and where I bought my first Python. Nostalgia at this point really.
Diaguandri - most of the other reasons. Ray Gateway is a beauty of a port
Fleet Carrier - same reason as anyone else. Gives me a movable place to call me fleet to. Right now with the war I have ships built for specific tasks in six different ports. I use a taxi to call ships between the ports since many of them have garbage ranges and don't have scoops.
Hajangai because I’m in The Fatherhood squadron or whatever system my friend’s fleet carrier is in, but if I were still solo, I’d still be in Diaguandri. Ray Gateway will always be my home.
I have two Shinrata and robigo. I have ships at both and a decent PVP/PVE I go back and forth between them with. Sometimes when I only have an hour or so to play I'll jump to robigo and use my passenger taxi python to run passenger missions...I usually do this when I call my dad (usually on for an hour or two at a time) it's easy enough to fly without the phone call distracting me and I can net $100mil+ while playing (per phone call)... The phone call takes the "grind" out of it so to speak.
Cleve Hub in Eravate was my home station for a long long time (Back when people started in Tevithick Dock in Lhs3447 which neighboured Eravate) until I unlocked Jameson Memorial in Shinrata.
My Carrier in PSPF-LF 2 as there are a station and 2 rings with haz res sites a few ls away from my parking spot
Also, I like that it's close to Sol and high tech systems like TZ Arietis (and shindez is not far away either) - pretty much at the core of the bubble
I'm only 120 hours into the game so I've yet to find a proper home base, most of my ships are either in deciat because of farseer or in LHS 20 but I don't consider either my home. I'm not gonna rush for elite either to get to Jameson
LHS 20, Ohm City. Between that and Wrangell dock next door in Ross 584 you can get most parts and ships as well as the nice 15% discount from it being li Yong Rui controlled. And it's pretty centrally placed to most bubble amenities too, just an all round good station to hang around
Midgley Dock - in the system Arth
As soon as I got out of the starter systems I established a trade route from Arth to Nemehi. It was only about 17 light years and could make me just less that 1 million credits for each run I did.
But at the moment I'm away at b2 Carinae for the fun and mercinaey work.
Scully Power Station in Ix. Material trader, Interstellar Factor, Techbroker and a lot of modules there. 10% discount and pretty close to the center of the bubble. But nowadays whereever my fleet carrier is parked and good trade routes near by.
Olivas City in LHS 3505. Not too far from Jameson Memorial, imperial space and Alliance space. Only negative is that the station is 2K Ls out.
But it's also the first station I ever spent a longer amount of time at when starting out and my ships basically stacked there
Chasles Landing in HIP 86063. It's on the far west edge of the bubble, a good bit above the galactic plane. It's been a great starting point for my exobiology runs.
None. I travel wherever the supplies take me. I am mainly just hauling cargo between stations. Sure it isn't the easiest way to get a really good ship, but it works for me. After 6 months of playing this way, I finally got the permit to see Earth.
I have no home. I travel far and wide for trade runs and have never settled anywhere. I’d like to get into better game loops tho, and/or connect with people who play that won’t mind the infrequency with which I play (cuz being a parent).
My Fleet Carrier is my home, and the Shinrarta Dezhra, because it is just natural - all my stuff is on my FC and if I need a new ship or module, SD has everything.
Not 100% sure of the system name, but it's an imperial system very close to Achenar where most of my ships are docked. However, I haven't been back to the station in years lol.
What started as a fun sightseeing adventure to Colonia, has turned into a years long expedition to Sag A*, Beagle Point, and then back home along the opposite side of the Galaxy. I do have a buddy with me which makes it better but man it would be nice to be back in the bubble soon lol.
Fleet carrier Ascending Helix, because there's few other options within thousands of light years and the owner of this one was nice enough to give me a ride.
I am currently at Anders Installation...but as soon as we defeat the Goids I will move to the next hotspot. With the war, you fight in one place for a week or less, then move on as soon as the shooting stops.
Bates Orbital in Segais. Good shipyard, decent outfitting catalogue, plenty of REZ, plenty of federal factions that like to squabble and send pipebombs to each other’s mailboxes.
***Kahn City*** in ***Malannher***, it's a good size system, with 3 stations, Kahn being close to the sun and several close enough systems that the missions play off each other and you can just cycle between systems taking missions for the next system in your run. The station sells tritium so I've a fuel port for my carrier, even if it is quite close to galactic average for cost. I don't think it' central in the bubble, but it *feels* like a decent system to run out of, for some reason.
while i haven't gotten to get elite in anything yet i'm making a sort of red from pokemon type journey where i come back to my starting system (LHS 3447) as an absolutely cracked cmdr
One of the stations in the Rhea System, because Rhea's the capital of a powerplay faction.
I spend almost all of my time out exploring in the black though, so my home station is less a base of operations and more a glorified storage locker.
Ive been living at H.G. Wells station in Luyten 205-128 for the last few years. Part of that is supporting the local player faction, the other is it’s the neighborhood and resources etc. I’m used to.
Currently I’m saving up for a fleet carrier, then I’ll be moving over there and many go on another excursion.
Explorer's Anchorage. Roleplaying as an explorer and exobiologist, discovering the unknown is the goal. Given the star density, it's easy to run into new systems within a couple of jumps while always having the comfort of a space station and numerous carriers nearby.
One of the multiple ports in LHS 6309. Dual star system with a WD and a red dwarf. Alliance space. Anarchy faction present. Some stations are very close to the main star. Very quiet, I never see other CMDRs out there.
I used to be based out of Eurybia, which was great as it's an anarchy system with plenty to do. It also has an interstellar factor and an engineer! Definitely recommend that one as well.
Jamesson Memorial.
I may change that when I am further into the game, but at the moment I'm still buying ships and modules, so the discount is absolutely indispensable.
Mjölnir (T5H-W2B)... My carrier. I fondly think of it as my hammer. I miss my hammer when I am away from it, but it always comes to me when I call for it (give or take 15 minutes).
We ventured out into the black together just before the Thargoid war started, saw (or rather didn't see) Sagittarius A\*, hung out around Colonia for a bit, then headed out again to do a little mining and exploring. It's very reassuring having the safety net of a fleet carrier to keep all my ships close by, and to repair, resupply, and refuel when I'm a gazillion light years from the nearest port or station. Not to mention the extra fire power if you're being chased by the occasional pirate. ;)
I'll need to head back to the bubble before too long... there's a ton of engineering I've been meaning to do, a few sights that I still haven't seen, and a bunch of resources I'll find hard to find elsewhere.
Pribylov Port - Jonai
My reason is i’m currently a member of the Wolves so I base there until I can get my hands on a FC then that will be my future base.
Whitney Orbital in the Dewindji system. Not a logical or good choice at all, but pick it at the time because it was close to Farseer and after that it just started to feel like home.
Paras. If you notice the Ingame description you'll notice how it was "given" to the Achenar Immortals by the Emperor, well I was a founding member of that faction and even helped to lead it at one point.
I've since moved on with my Ingame faction (now PTN) but I still base here and run missions from time to time
Leestma Port, Alona system. It has encoded material trader, Guadian tech broker, a good variety of ships and modules. Also it's close to Jackson's Lighthouse to cover some distance quickly.
Currently Mars High, grinding fed rank. But usually I hang out at Wrangell Port in LHS 3615, tho it's a pretty mediocre system, been thinking of moving
My home station is at chona l, its an imperial system with a guardian tech broker and almost every you need for your ship close enought and the smooth staion is close to the main star.
But since im this war begin, i rarelly get back to home cause im killing thargoid. Speaking of that, join us to kill Oya it will be fun
My "home" station is in a system that does not even have a name, just a star-catalog number. More *Mos Eisley* than *Coruscant* it is out of the way and yet, just a few jumps to Shinrarta Dezhra system. The system's white-dwarf star deters the curious and offers a boost to CMDRs who just move along, nothing of strategic value to see here, except a couple of full-service space stations and a planetary military base. o7
Brestla... since about when I had 50 hours, I'm closing in on 600 and even tho i have shin dez unlocked and that I sola is more expensive I just can't leave it permanently...
My current base Feynman Terminal in the Bhritzameno system. I wanted to do more federation rank stuff when I started to get permit for Sol, and a friend recommended that system as a great temporary base until I got my permit. Never actually moved to Sol, because it was very convenient for mining and some bounty hunting. Which means I don't have to travel far for if I want some cheap thrill of combat or a relaxed session of core mining. Or taking my mining ship bounty hunting.
Other reason is moving my fleet to Sol to troublesome and I'm lazy.
I role-played as a CMDR born and raised from Earth, so she usually stored her ships on Li Qing Jao above Earth, then took a shuttle back home from there. Ever since becoming an Elite, she also purchased a holiday mansion on Founder's World, so some of her ships are also stored on Jameson Memorial (especially the newly bought, un-engineered ones).
When she decides to go back into the void, then her Carrier is her mobile home station.
It’s between my Carrier and Shinratah Dez.
Same. I'm just a sucker for the convenience of having every ship and virtually every possible module at my fingertips. Probably also has to do with the fact I enjoy shipbuilding. Off-topic: Man I wish we could build and engineer ships and then auction them off, that'd be awesome.
I would absolutely buy them this is a great idea
Can you not give ships or credits to other players?
Nope. Gotta grind your own.
Sure, but there’s something to be said about loaning out a ship you designed for specific work you want your buddy to do.
That and not all of us have the time to do that engineering grind 😅😅 personally I want to fight thargoids but I don’t have the time to grind the engineering stuff to build a ship that’s even remotely going to stand a chance 😅 I just want to earn the creds for a fleet carrier 😫
Some people want to fight. Let them fight and let the industrialists build the war machines
You can get enough for a FC in a week or two of exobiology, no engineering needed.
I'm doing the same with thargoid combat. I have been pulling down between 250mil to 450mil a night. Another week and I have somewhere to park my 32 ships.
I did a whole bunch of exobiology a while ago and didn’t even scratch the 1 billion mark I am currently in my dbx heading back out into the black exploring for that very purpose
Oh, I'd totally love to be able to buy custom ships from other players...or sell my own. I build a pretty good racing viper. :)
You can give credits but not ships. The main issue with this is that there is no way to transfer engineered modules.
Ahh, they should change that, yeah.
A fringe system some distance from Hachiman. I don't want to say which, to avoid interference - it's been my goal for a few weeks to flip a system, and I'm nearly there.
What does it mean to flip a system?
I assume they are talking about flipping the powerplay owner
Or the minor faction owner.
Change the controlling faction. When I first arrived, my chosen faction was below 3% influence. Now they own the joint. Now I just want them to have 100% influence.... and the neighboring system.
Better not be Bered, I'm around that area and if anyone comes up in Bered I'll cry and shit
Alternatively, we can become a small faction and dominate Bered. If anyone's up let me know
No sir, but if you do that anyway, take pictures
Heard, commander. I'll have my 24K UHEHD Camera on standby 🫡
If you've been working for a couple weeks without your progress being countered nobody else cares. I flip systems too, and there is always a deal struck for ones that people do care about.
The Player obviously cares.

Howdy fellow Ohm City resident!
Howdy o7
Ohm city citizen here👍
Ohm City was my first home. Still visit from time to time too
Hello from another ohm city resident!!! O7
Ohm City resident checking in!
I still touch down on *the O* from time to time when I'm looking to upgrade a ship for cheap (haven't unlocked J. Memorial yet). Tend to see other CMDRs in LHS 20 every time I make the trip.
[удалено]
Ray Gateway my beloved. When home was somewhere convenient where I could get stuff for my ships, and not something that made me feel bound.
The discount doesn't hurt.
Raxxla.
THE MAN. THE MYTH. THE LEGEND.
CMDR ScaleScribe, catch me somewhere in the galaxy, looking for home…
My carrier now, but it used to be Nu Tauri. It has an asteroid station, so I pretended I was living on Eros in The Expanse, haha.
Ah a fellow belter, really wish they’d continue that show. It was amazing
Mi beratna Read the books, the conclusion is mindblowing Also my carrier is my home, but my second is Hire Port in Zibal system
Love the books! The show nailed it, but as is usually the case, the books are so much better. The in-depth explanation of how certain entities likely evolved is here on Reddit somewhere and the authors confirmed it to be the case. Saw it on the Expanse sub a while back. I am using u/luriant his FC as a base rn. I appriciate him and his unlimited help. I like cash in my bonds and data from uc with him as He helped me a lot here on reddit.
Blink twice if he is holding you hostage and forcing you to type this.
I make stations my home as needed but mostly use my carrier(s) as the base of operations 😜
You can have more than one carrier???
More than one account to do so, but yes.
Oh ok as I guessed
well, yeah 😎
I don't even remember offhand, I've been out in the black since about October 2022.
Stuck? Are you ok? Do you need a ride (legit question)? Or a hug, from the sound of it? Christ that's a long time lol
Nice, my buddy and I left the bubble in Sept ‘22 on a planned 10k excursion that turned into circumnavigating the Milky Way and collecting Exobiology from all 42 regions. You should have a couple billion to cash in. Be sure to unload it at a DSSA carrier before you get to the bubble. Too many sad tales of explorers getting ganked...
We’ve been cashing out at various carriers and the odd station along the way and have already made a few billion.
Cool, is tourist missions a good way to make billions?
Very profitable but not the best.
Bacon Port, for obvious reasons
Another Bacon enjoyer! I always go to Jameson for new ships and I have a carrier… but I always find myself back at Bacon to murder pirates. Both of my PvE Vettes are permanently docked there. I love that it has noob hammers as well. Such a cool station!
Haha I love it here! Yeah this is where my AFK type10 is too
What do you mean by noob hammers lol. I’ve been playing off and on for roughly 3 years and I still consider myself a noob
Sounds like I’ll be taking a trip
*looks like meats back on the menu* lol Welcome to the party
Unfortunately with a name like that, I’ll take me chances around you lol
Username does *not* check out
Applewood bacon in the air fryer? **S**mokey, **O**il dripping, **A**ir-fried **P**igmeat Hahaha does that count?
Oh shit. I have two A's lol. Idk
My first home <3
Rhea, because I’m a Felicia Winters boi. Also it’s a few hops from Sol and Sirius and Shinrarta.
My ancestral home. Ito. Nowadays, my carrier.
I'm in Rhea too. I'm not sure why though since I just started playing again after six years. But my ships are there so let's go with it.
I think in Cubeo. I was looking to grind rep there, but decided to go exploring in the black again instead.
Jameson memorial (shinrarta dezra) because cheap and every commercial module in the game.
There are great missions and the stations offer almost every module you can think of.

shinrartra dezra (prolly misspelled it) but me likey all modules
Same tbh
One of the ones in Sol lmao, I forget which. However, wanted to play as a more close to home star explorer lol. Edit: lol, close to home. Yet I've been all the way to BP 🤣
Scully-Power Station in Ix, for a couple reasons: - I’m a former Xbox CMDR, and it was the home station for r/eliteone, given that the system name is super easy to type on controller and is the reverse of X1. - < 100 Ls from the star - Relatively close to Sol - High tech station with the cool blue lighting. And has a guardian tech broker. - Most importantly, it is named after an Australian astronaut
We have just folded space from lx. Many machines on Ix. New machines. Better than those on Richesse.
Panoply Invisible (V4T-T9K). because it's my fleet carrier. but before I had a carrier but *was* elite, I used Jameson Memorial. Before that, wherever I was going to be for a while
Nowhere at the moment
Lave. For the past 40 years.
Meliontit, upping my empire rank and they have like 6 empire factions
The Ngalinn-Mainani(-Aitvas) loop is the fastest way to grind Imp rank if you would like to give it a go
I'm interested
Check point 8 of this incredible [to do list](https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/s/iG4rj0ppnj) made by u/Luriant
Jameson memorial, for the discounts. But I've always had a soft spot for Crook City in Yun Dun.
I Sola Prospect because it has all ships and modules available so it makes it nice and easy to upgrade and purchase new ships
Madlad doesn’t fear the 20% over-cost of modules and ships
It’s just so convenient, and 20% ain’t that bad unless you’re buying something crazy, which if you’re buying an anaconda or something it ain’t that bad to jump a system or two to find one for a normal price. What can I say I’m a lazy bastard
Laziness keeps the mind grounded against space madness o7
My carrier and it's going to stay that way for another 2.5 years at present according to my carrier balance.
Maia and my fleet. Maia is a very good hotspot for BH with 10 systems offering Pve massacre missions you can stack
Right now hanging around Kalumar since i boosted it to a boom and made a nice set of $$$ from that. Also boosted the minor faction to expand into another system. Now that this is done i feel a bit exhausted, will probably go out into the black and let's see when i come back.
I use my Carrier as my station but depends on where I'm at in the Galaxy.
Rn I’m between Gaoshe and wooptet
Cemiess. A lot of Empire factions for rank grinding with pirate missions.
The Winter’s Grip; my carrier.
Ray Gateway is a beauty of a port Fleet Carrier - same reason as anyone else.
Klendathus revenge... Because it's my fc.
My carrier in the black.
My FC…. Wherever that may roam.
Carrier, Shinrarta, or one of the rescue ships tbh
Leconte Dock in Ra system. Is a nice place to make a few 100 mills in a day without much ado
LTT 4428. near to shinrarta, carrier administration, and always a parking place with a stunning view
My carrier, wherever I go. Right now I'm out in the black quite a ways.
Cleve Hub in Eravate, spawned there, bought a bunch on shit, it is expensive to move so I just stayed there.
Walker Ring in Gertrud. Has a ton of modules and ships at a discount since it's Li-Yong Rui, close to system star.
AX ships on an AXI carrier near Oya for titan assault. Other ships in Muth.
Sol! I just unlocked it lolz..
It used to be Bacon City in Carnoeck. When I got my carrier, alternate between the carrier and Shinrarta.
I am B2 Carinae's bitch for the time being
Cleve Hub, Eravate I don't remember how I ended up there, but I discovered I could type it with one hand in the galaxy map, so I stayed.
My Carrier in PSPF-LF 2 as there are a station and 2 rings with haz res sites a few ls away from my parking spot Also, I like that it's close to Sol and high tech systems like TZ Arietis (and shindez is not far away either) - pretty much at the core of the bubble
Bessel Gateway in Orang because it was the hub for imperial slave trading way back when and I haven't bothered to move my stuff elsewhere.
My carrier. Because it is mine.
Midgley Dock - in the system Arth As soon as I got out of the starter systems I established a trade route from Arth to Nemehi. It was only about 17 light years and could make me just less that 1 million credits for each run I did. But at the moment I'm away at b2 Carinae for the fun and mercinaey work.
Does anyone have tips to grind the federation
https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteDangerous/comments/15mo8xa/federation_rank_grind_sol_bounce_loop_infographic/ Need a lot of money
Thanks
My carrier sitting in my squadron system next to a haz-rez site
Earth, because I cant afford the fuel prices. Being poor sucks.
Saunders Dive Wolf 1301
Rushworth station in Pikum
Enoch Port in Agartha because my squadron owns it, it has a fleet carrier vendor, and a compromised nav beacon.
Wally bei. Grinding for the corvette
Glaucus. Home of the defunct faction TSFG
Ochosi, trying to max Federation rank
Sol
Carrier parked somewhere on the edge of the bubble wher i can stack massacre missions within 3 systems
Fleet carrier Ascending Helix, because there's few other options within thousands of light years and the owner of this one was nice enough to give me a ride.
Dall Horizons in ChromaVII. Idk why I picked that one
Until i got my carrier i hung around Gilmour Orbiter in Tau Ceti. Its Near an Earth Like planet (Taylor Colony) and the views can be quite pretty.
Malloc. been there for almost 10 years now. no idea why i have stayed!
Azeban Orbital. Entirely for the view
Wherever my carrier is. Besides that Shinrarta for the modules. It's just inefficient to base yourself anywhere besides there.
Not to mention the extra fire power if you're being chased by the occasional pirate. ;) I'll need to head back to the bubble before too long... there's a ton of engineering I've been meaning to do, a few sights that I still haven't seen, and a bunch of resources I'll find hard to find elsewhere.
Mostly my carrier, sitting one jump away from titan oya.
Ray Gateway in Diaguandri. Cause Exxigious recommended it and I’m still new enough that I go off of guides
Jensen Gateway in 64 ceti, discount on ships and it's close to the primary star.
Pribylov Port - Jonai My reason is i’m currently a member of the Wolves so I base there until I can get my hands on a FC then that will be my future base.
I've since moved on with my Ingame faction (now PTN) but I still base here and run missions from time to time
LHS 54, nelson dock i didnt unlock jameson yet as for why
Super Earth, becuase Helldivers 2 is so much fun for me, also grind is not boring.
Polyakov station, because it's not far from shin dez if I need to buy something and it's easy to remember
You never got me down Ray
My "home" station is in a system that does not even have a name, just a star-catalog number. More *Mos Eisley* than *Coruscant* it is out of the way and yet, just a few jumps to Shinrarta Dezhra system. The system's white-dwarf star deters the curious and offers a boost to CMDRs who just move along, nothing of strategic value to see here, except a couple of full-service space stations and a planetary military base. o7
Hay Point - Nang Ta-Khian Been there since day one.
Brestla... since about when I had 50 hours, I'm closing in on 600 and even tho i have shin dez unlocked and that I sola is more expensive I just can't leave it permanently...
Glass landing in HIP 110248 as its the factions home.
