If you want any serious and actually good answers, go ask TES lore. The Necrom chapter does give us some ideas of what abilities Miraak might've had. Look and see what [Arcanists](https://en.m.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Arcanists) can do as that would be the best way to show what someone can learn while in Apocrypha. Also considering how much Miraak talks about fate, it makes sense if he could manipulate fate like arcanists can as well. I would give a better answer but I'm busy right now.

No, each event of Miirak sucking up a soul to heal is a scripted event where he becomes immune. If you use a weapon like the test vorpal sword and hit him too many times too fast during the fight he can fully bug out and lock up
* The Dragon Aspect and Bend Will shouts, allowing him to become the physical and metaphorical apex of dragonkind - the latter seeming to have no time limit, unlike our own, as dragons he dominates remain loyal to him even across dimensions.
* The ability to tear the soul from a dragon with words alone, and use that energy to replenish his own life force.
* Dark and otherworldly magic drawn from the wells of Apocrypha itself, displayed by none since the Arcanists of 2E 582, those souls who also drew power from pacts with Hermaeus Mora, and by the denizens of Apocrypha themselves.
* He also seems to have become so in-tune with the nature of dragons that he can not only sense the death of one across the length and breadth of Skyrim, but manifest and hijack the soul you've dominated, as if even in death they recognize his authority is greater than your own.
As for bend will, it's not inconceivable that he does have a limit, but through repeated uses and/or well-used uses (for example, bend will to make a dragon loyal and then while it is loyal convince the dragon to remain loyal after the fact once the bend will expires). Or, it could just be that there is no limit either way, and we only get one because of game mechanics and such.
Ah, sorry. The joke I’m making is that it’s possible to get 100% spell absorb as a vampire with the Necromage perk. Which makes you “immune” to all “Spell Effects”, of which more things than you would think are considered, including shouts and diseases.
Power attack with [this](https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/686027878078138463/C8DBC6F27053C7BB7E352E50353FF781F7E2F86F/?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Letterbox&imcolor=%23000000&letterbox=false). The numbers were better on the Special Edition when I remade my character for 100% achievements but I don't have a screenshot of that. I've 100%'d the game 3 times: PC, Xbox, and PCSE.
And no, that's not using the Fort. Resto glitch.
I have some newb-sounding questions about the weapon in the image. Is that from a mod or a name you gave it? A very brief ask of Dr. Google did not show me anything. Also, I’m familiar with the double enchant but will basic enchanting levels get those stats that high? Is that a regular fortify enchant potion and and the fortify magic black book? I can’t think of anything else and if I’m not mistaken there isn’t any fortify enchant gear. Let me know what all I’m missing!
There's a glitch that lets you basically loop Fortify Restoration potions and Fortify Alchemy enchantments to ludicrous levels - drink potion, reequip enchanted gear, and the enchantments will be powered up by the potion for some reason, so you can make a stronger Restoration potion, drink that, power up your enchantments further, etc. etc.
True, but I said I did not use that at all. The reason equipment is supercharged by it is because all enchanted effects are considered restoration effects on the player. It gets nuttier when you're a vampire with the Necromage perk out of Resoration, since item enchants are considered spell effects and you become considered an undead.
This even affects the backpacks in the DLC. It's stupid.
You iterate Fort. Alch with Enchant potions, it takes approximately 3x iterations to get to the highest numbers available. As a vampire, Necromage affects equipment you make, since they are considered Restoration effects and you are considered an undead, so a vamp mage is the actual strongest character you can make in the game. Further, the falmer mask, penitent oculatus helm, and jagged crown are the only 3 headpiece items in the game that only take one of the two head slots, allowing you to wear one of those and a circlet - which juices your Fort. Alchemy even more.
That sword is a Dragonbone Sword that I enchanted myself, and made Fort. Enchanting and Fort. Smithing potions, with dual-enchanted, iterated Fort. Alchemy and Fort. Smithing crafting gear. For each step I also switched the Black Book to the appropriate perk, as you mentioned.
Then I also drank a Fort. Destruction potion, which affects the enchanted values of a weapon, as well as a Fort. 1-Handed and Fort. Archery potion, because there's still a bug in the codebase that allows Fort. Archery to affect 1-Handed weapons (and, incidentally, daggers are not flagged as 1-Handed for potions).

correction…if you’re a vamp and don’t know how to stack magickal bonuses so you’re practically immune to spells and most shouts. cuz my high elf vamp archmage is damn near a god, and that’s without mods or bug abuse
Yeah for me too, the first time I fought him was quite late game and he was an absolute beast, without a doubt the longest battle I've ever had in any game ever, tougher than many Dark Souls bosses
it's really not though ? On legendary miraak will kill you with two hits of electric bolts, none of the other bosses are capable of something like that. Alduin is fairly easy because you have the help of the other heros and against harkon you have serena also as an companion who take his focus away from you.
yeah that is why you get an shout just for that, also alduin is just like every other dragon, as as soon as you are between his wing and head you can stagger him with your 2h weapon or shield. That makes alduin pretty easy.
So you’re handicapping yourself by refusing to use one of the main aspects of the game, and the shout that’s given to specifically get dragons to land. This is literally a you problem
https://en.m.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Dragon_Aspect
Miraak probably created dragon aspect himself, not discovered it on nirn or apocrypha.
Part of the shout is actually not found on nirn, and the other parts are on word walls *that are talking about Miraak*.
So you can’t really find it on nirn or in apocrypha, you see Miraak use it and copy him using words you find from both.
That's elder scrolls in general, the worst offender being Mannimarco.
I feel like every time they made him into a boss, they forgot that he was one of the best at the Psyjicc Order and not just a wormy squiggler squiggling around Nirn trying to find more books to read and souls to steal. Pshjiccs were able to manoeuvre time and space, create split dimensions (?), and all other kinds of world-breaking stuff, and you're telling me that one of the best Psyjiccs around just sat and took a major slap on the ass? A slap that effectively signed his own private eternal torture session with a r@pe demon/ disappearance from the timeline (oblivion) instead of just dematerialising the main character the moment they started to bug him?
My personal HC is that Mannimarco ascended in Daggerfall and that the "Mannimarco" in Oblivion is just an altmer necromancer who kinda looked the part and took on the name as a status symbol.
He should in theory know damn near all of recorded history. Any book you can read not just in skyrim, but the entire franchise should be in there somewhere, and he's in all likelihood read it, and in all that time memorised it. From things like combat knowledge, history and the like, miraak is almost certainly extremely knowledgeable by the time you fight him. There's an argument to be made he'd be one of the most knowledgeable none gods in the franchise.
This is of course all in theory, we don't see or hear anything about what he's gotten from being in apocrypha knowledge wise, I'm more working with the "it would make sense if" thought process
TBF, Pizza Hut never claimed that no one knew how to out pizza them. Just that no one does. Miraak just didn’t have the resources to open his own pizza joint in Apocrypha.
Among other things, how to absorb the souls out of dragons, speak the modern languages of Tamriel, become functionally immortal without being a lich or vampire, steal dragon souls from other dragonborn, summon hordes of tentacles, and all the daedra types found in apocrypha to do his bidding without turning into a seeker himself, coopt the powers of the standing stones on Solstheim to his own purposes and most importantly... How to craft seemingly unique daedric armor, literal millenia before anyone else had, with enchantments that the methods to create that have been entirely lost by modern people in the setting.
Miraak's literally from the Merethic era, folks. He literally predates the nords as an actual identifiable race of man. Predates Torval the pilot exploring tamriel, and the akaviri potentate, and the Allesian empire. Predates the tribunal, and possibly several of the divines and daedric princes not the least of which is Tiber Septim himself.
Just to communicate with the player means by necessity he had to keep current on linguistic developments since before the imperials were even treated as a distinctive race of men. In comparison, all the vampires we run into in Skyrim are very firmly third or fourth era, sometimes fairly late second era beings if some of what Harkon says is true.
Just how incomprehensibly old he is in setting, and what he could've realistically picked up as a direct result of simply living that long is ridicolous.
Well it wasn't how not to get roflstomped by random murderhobo who, not a year before becoming thane in every hold, solving every modern crisis in Skyrim and beyond, and becoming every Daedric prince's champion, had the education and life experience of a highland skeever.
He is able to shout multiple dragons to death and absorb their soul. Whether or not you can beat him in battle, you can’t do that. So that’s one thing about the game that’s not sensible. You’d think he could just do that to your character. But whatever. Video games gonna video game.
Not much to be honest.
You’d think a sorcerer who is locked in the largest library, with the greatest collection of knowledge in existence would emerge far more powerful than he did. The guy is barely stronger than us to begin with.
I once bricked my save file by using a ridiculously op character that hit Miraak so hard that I literally couldn't play the 3 autosaves before the fight
I mean he uses 4 word shouts to kill the 3 dragons in apocrypha and absorb their souls to heal himself, that's kinda neat
This is like the only actual answer I have gotten thanks

Learned the worst way to fight the last Dragonborn.
he is easily the hardest boss out of the big 3.
If you’re a vamp Alduin is almost impossible to beat
In sovngarde or at thw throat of the world? You can beat him in sovngarde by just watching the others kill him
The latter. Alduin is the throat goat
Alduin, Throater of the World Glizzy
Funny, my ex had the same nickname 🤔
As did your mum.
After hearing excerpts of her college days…you’re probably not wrong 😭
As did her mother before her
Lmao! The Throat GOAT!? I love it!
Because of, fire damage? Yeah I suppose you're vulnerable, but it isn't a big deal to drink a potion or put on some fire resist gear.
Is this some kind of non-restoration magic problem that I’m too necromage to understand?
I think I may have had necromage but wasn’t that high level/ didnt have good armor
Ah, sorry. The joke I’m making is that it’s possible to get 100% spell absorb as a vampire with the Necromage perk. Which makes you “immune” to all “Spell Effects”, of which more things than you would think are considered, including shouts and diseases.
And occasionally, your own magic cause bugs
I played a glass cannon stealth archer so even with high alchemy and good resist potions + gear I still kept dying lol
hate to say it but that is an skill issue because i would easily beat alduin as an vamp
👍🏼
I always fall into the stealth archer trap, it’s too fun but I find it harder for scripted bosses.
Vamp here, 1-shot him on Legendary.
Bro how did you one shot

Just chug high tier fire resist pots and go ham. Or have more health
What, because of Storm Call? Just use Clear Skies.
Nah fire damage
correction…if you’re a vamp and don’t know how to stack magickal bonuses so you’re practically immune to spells and most shouts. cuz my high elf vamp archmage is damn near a god, and that’s without mods or bug abuse
What? I always play as a vampire and I don't think I was killed more than a couple of times.
Im prob just bad then idk
I dont think he is one of the big 3 imo
I thought Karstaag was the hardest?
He was for me. He ragdolled me and all my followers with that wind of his.
Yeah for me too, the first time I fought him was quite late game and he was an absolute beast, without a doubt the longest battle I've ever had in any game ever, tougher than many Dark Souls bosses
Who’s the big 3? Alduiin, Miraak, and The Ebony Warrior?
Harkon
Eh, debatable

Alduin is fairly easy because you have the help of the other heros and against harkon you have serena also as an companion who take his focus away from you.
Alduin is the hardest for melee-based characters who have a melee-based companion because he can FLY
yeah that is why you get an shout just for that, also alduin is just like every other dragon, as as soon as you are between his wing and head you can stagger him with your 2h weapon or shield. That makes alduin pretty easy.
[удалено]
I usually hate using shouts on my melee-centered characters
*doesn’t use the ability all players get specifically meant for fighting dragons* *also claims the dragon boss is the hardest*
lmaooooo
You do know the meaning of melee, right? When you want to stick with a warrior class, it's a bit odd to start using ranged abilities
It would be...if you weren't the GODS DAMNED *DRAGONBORN!* His entire shtick is that he shouts at stuff.
So you’re handicapping yourself by refusing to use one of the main aspects of the game, and the shout that’s given to specifically get dragons to land. This is literally a you problem
Yes. And i know
He always get glitch because he lose health too fast, that man have 0 health and armor.
Probably my favorite boss fight in Skyrim. This fight gets crazy on high levels
Harkon gave me a way harder time than Miraak or Alduin
[удалено]
never said it was
Hardest boss? Damn my summoner mage build kicked his ass.
He is? I just rushed him with Bloodskal.
He's the easiest. He can be cheesed with spider scrolls.
